Did you see that All My Children is presenting clips of shows dating back over their 40 years?  Play dates are early January.   As soon as I saw it, I said ‘why didn’t DOOL think of that?    I know there are financial, technical issues as to who owns what, etc.   but you can’t disagree with the theory that bringing forth the historical aspects of the show would be good for viewership.

It was really great to see those  flashbacks.  There were a few scenes that are not the old standards (the ones we’ve seen many times before — & enjoyed).   Such a shame to show the ‘time span’ of the relationship of Bo & Hope, and then finish it off with THAT KISS!

Dang, darn, *&#>   (ya know what I mean).

what is it exactly that Mrs. Hernandez does?  When she finally comes to Salem will she be domesticated help, an alcoholic, an abused woman.  I’m thinking negatively because Gabby’s presence in Salem, seems to mean that Mom isn’t too hands-on with her kids.

I guess we need to stay tuned for more bits and pieces to be revealed.

Anna talks to Tony’s picture — showing she is a bit demented.   I’m still wondering why Anna fell off the step ladder.  Since the cold air didn’t seem to cause any harm to Sydney (as we suspected it would), maybe it’s to set up that Anna has a balance/medical problem?  Her health could be the chink-in-her-armor that gets the child discovered?

Julie should be staying in Salem.  She doesn’t have official training, but she’s got a lifetime’s worth of personal experience.  Julie could counsel without having to utilize another background set for a Dr. office!

a non issue for my husband.  He ate everything and anything until he reached age 60!  Now the love handles are showing and I’m loving it!

than breaking up?   If it’s true that Bo & Hope will find their way back to each other, will their indescretions be an eye-for-an-eye thingy so that when they do get back together, we viewers will be Okay with it?  Sort of ‘what’s good for the goose is good for the gander?’

Must be some code in the script writer’s book of do’s and don’ts that a couple cannot be insync for a lifetime.   I remember when Bo could sense Hope in trouble.  That kind of stuff is what makes us ‘love’ the story and the couple.

is a model for her clothing and jewelry line.  I think that’s why she is holding her weight down.   I agree, she seems awfully skinny (a bad image for those troubled people who trend toward anexoria as a solution their life).

into marriage….  ?  Yes, it seems too contrived.  Seems Kathryn & Vivian could still fued over Phil & his love life without rushing the story into wedding plans.    I supposed, if I wanted to believe this instant romance… it would be because they (Phil & Melanie) are both afraid of losing AGAIN.  Sort of like, let’s make it happen and then let’s see what happens (early separation vs rocking chairs).

So Melanie moves into the Kirikias family homestead? Then Nathan can move back into Maggies?

I see Mia’s character as a person who just takes it as it comes.  She didn’t grow up w/self esteem.  She lives in the moment, not for the thrill of the moment.  She isn’t out to impress anyone or pretend to be something she is not.   She is basically a quiet person.  She is the kind of girl you can be proud of, rather than be ashamed of.  She isn’t ‘out there’ making a fool of herself.

This type personality isn’t likely to be found behind bars (jail or alcohol).  I’ll take her as my granddaughter!

together, Kathryn and Stephano, from dialog on the show yesterday. As if they’re covering their ‘stories’ in public.  [Honestly, the writing staff is really doing a good job — keeping us guessing!]

you’re setting me up for some thinkin’.  IF Anna and Doc Baker cooked up this scheme, the Doc wouldn’t have necessarily told Anna about the ‘switch’… just that the child is a DiMera which could net them some ransom $.  That would mean that Anna could get a conscience when she realizes she has possession of Roman’s granddaughter!

    It’s fun to fantasize huh?
