Worst ever has to go to Kenny Mane (sp)…do you remember back then? Yes, Master P was bad but it was his attitude that stopped him from at least trying to improve. There’s been plenty of contestants who just didn’t have the ‘it’ to be a dancer… but they made the effort even if there was no noticeable agility. I heard Romeo say that against his Dad’s advice he wore the ‘shoes’, so I expect Romeo will be giving a decent performance this season.
Does Carly’s wardrobe on DOOL equate to how she was dressed on her previous employment gig (I never watched whatever soap program that was her previous job)? Chrystal is a big boned girl and, IMO, cute clothes come in smaller sizes… a size 2-4-6 garment just doesn’t look the same when sewed for a size 12-14-16.
has seemed different to me for quite sme time. I wondered if it had to do with weight loss, or an injury. Surely could be that she’s a denture wearer and that a new set was created to help fill out her face (as everything tends to shrink as we get older, including our gums). Seems it’s a current fad to want to show more teeth and whiter teeth now-a-days.
It may be a sign of the times; i.e., economically using one actor to play two characters means only one payroll item (see Y&R with two look-alike stories going at the same tme). As to why Hope has an altered personality, I’d say it’s due to the stress resulting from demise of her marriage. But definitely… Hope’s appearance (lipstick & hair-do), voice pattern, body movements and lack of memory (telling Ciara about Justin being possible daddy scene) means we are seeing a split personality. Surely, we can predict where this is going based on previous story-lines. The girl portraying Ciara is getting a varied acting experience what with the kidnapping, parent separation, Carly moving in, and now Mom having a secret life (thank heavens she has her imaginary friend).
Stress — Kim was dealing with international intrigue and family estrangement (according to DOOL, a Complete Family Album). Kim’s new love interest, Shane (the undercover ISA Agent –who was dealing with his ex-wife’s return & her attempts to kill Bo & Hope) was in a position to learn about Kim’s ex-prostitute dealings. Eventually, Kim turned to Victor for help and regained her sight.
wouldn’t you be happy to have Shane ‘solve’ this mess? Shane is a different generation from EJ, but, but… he fills the bill in the ‘voice/appearance and intelligence’ department.
I just watched the 3/29 episode (on my DVR) where Daniel takes the tumble, and there’s no way he hit his head on the white picket fence — he definitely fell backwards with immediate pool of blood coming from back of head. Other injuries must have come in the medical attention/transport period of time?? (which doesn’t make sense either).
Talk about projecting the future! After watching yesterday’s show, I was livid… why didn’t anyone call Chloe immediately? And Dan’s first conversation upon waking up wasn’t to ask where is Chloe! It doesn’t appear as if Carly is after Dr. Dan at the moment but I can totally see what’s coming based on Victor’s concerns from yesterday; based on Adrienne’s return to Salem; based on Julie’s conversation with Hope.
I’m in agreeance with you. This character really annoys me. I cannot see her aligning with any other characters on the show (being drawn into relationships, taking advice, doing favors, etc.). If I stretch my imagination, the only thing I could imagine her being good at would be a bad fortune teller. I suppose, from an actress standpoint, the part may be fun to portray.
No, you’re not the only one…. IF Phil & Chloe find themselves drawn to each other and live in their own respective residences (not the mansion), then I’d be happy with the storyline. It’s a romantic notion that touches your heart when two (first-loves) find each other again. Of course, these two wouldn’t actually be finding each other, but they do know each other to a level others can’t.
I’m guessing, since Nathan didn’t interrupt the wedding ceremony, he’s positioned outside the mansion to become the ‘hero’. Melanie’s hero…. oh, whatever shall I do! We have to remember, Melanie could choose to not consummate the marriage ??
When Melanie learns her back-story was a lie, she should be relieved in a small way… but I expect her to become obsessed in a big way. Mad at this person and that person… because…. because I don’t know who I am anymore! She’ll not trust herself and have a real hard time trusting others — therein lies the challenge for those who’ve grown to love the person she transformed herself into — after being freed of her father — after she learns about her DNA parentage. Molly has proved to be a good actress, so the role of psychotic and depressed will only add to her repertoire.
having watched John Aniston from soaps before he came to DOOL, I know this IS John Aniston’s style. He can be such a sweet guy but always has the touche’ moment ready-at-hand and carries it off perfectly!
Yeah, pammydog, that could happen and should happen but as us skeptics surmise…. that was only for the ‘hold your breath during commercial’ purpose. If there’s something the DOOL writers staff could put in the bottom drawer, it would be those supposedly ‘cliff-hanger’s that NEVER are!!
Y&R doesn’t do that to their viewing audience. BTW…lovin’ Stephen Nichols as the new Tucker McCall.
