actually, i am not allowed to have my cell phone on me at all while at this new temp job i have, and i have a couple times noticed i forgot to leave it in my cubby area (away from desk), and my phone does indeed have a five level ringer, with or without vibrate, vibrate only, or silent all- with no vibration, yet the phone is on– and that is what i set it to if i have accidentally brought it to my desk with me (don’t ask me why i don’t just turn it off, lol!)
i was a little surprised the producers let them give away the immunity like that, but i guess if an individual can give it away, so can a tribe. but how stupid to do so! if you had a single thought that you might be on the block, it would be so much better to vote no on giving away the immunity. i couldn’t believe both leif (not sure on name, the little person) and bill agreed with it. i know they showed bill saying if he was next on the block anyhow, it didn’t matter if he went then or next, but i completely disagree with that statement- the men could go on a major winning streak (um, kind of already are on one), and so many things can change from day to day, heck start getting an in with the girls, make it to the merge and flip. so so stupid! and jeff looked SHOCKED to see them arrive at tribal. i have heard he does not know/ is not told what happens around camp, he pretty much just sees what happens at challenges and tribal, so i think he did not know the men were coming (or course, i could be wrong about that).
as far as timing, there is an entire cable show dedicated to women who didn’t know they were pregnant until they gave birth, so it is possible nicole is some ways along, never giving a thought to the possibility of being pregnant, since she has been told by doctors she can’t have children. for someone of nicole’s stature, though, I don’t personally think she could be more than 4 1/2 months along before the body changes would be noticeable; that would put it possibly back to October for conception, which I think could give us another who’s the daddy scenario… unfortunately.
I am in Western WA, too, and today at least they had it on Kong. I did not see yesterday’s, though, so can’t help you out.
i watch sporadically, so i could be wrong, but i think that man who made the plaque told them mrs. h’s lawyer (i believe the same one who stonewalled bo and hope/ gave them a cease and desist order but later tried to help them) was the one who instructed him to put the key in the plaque. even if that is the case, it still begs the question, how did mrs h know to give the key to the lawyer, how did the lawyer know to put it in the plaque? was she instructed to? if that is the case, how did mrs. h. know horton plaza (and a plaque) were going to be put in place? a little too much of the stretch of the imagination here, hopefully it will be worth the wait when we find out what it is all about.
I just finished reading book 18; I started with #17 just a few weeks ago and liked it so much I went back and started at number one, reading it for the first time. I have now read all the Plum books, including the between the numbers ones, and now feeling disappointed I don’t know when I will get another Stephanie adventure! I am also very torn between which man I want Stephanie to end up with. I don’t really know if I want her to pick or if I want the back on forth to keep going on, they both have their attractions (though Ranger sounds better, to me, not necessarily better for Stephanie, though!)
Next up will be Sue Grafton’s V is for Vengeance, then I may have to check out some new authors (or maybe re-read some of the Plum books).
just a few weeks ago i got a library download of #17, not realizing it was part of a series, just thought the plot sounded good. it was sooo good, soo funny, etc. i have now gotten all the other books from the library, started at #1, and am on # 7 right now, these are truly wonderful books, sexy though not too over the top, and truly laugh out loud funny at parts. highly recommend them. (and can i say, I love discovering authors who have a ton of books in a series out, then I don’t have to wait impatiently for the next one to come out, i get to go back and read "new" books (even though they’ve been around for almost 20 years!)
veering off the main topic, but you should read the 2 sequels to Hunger Games, they are very good (Catching Fire and Mockingjay). Hunger Games is being made into a movie, that I think will be coming out next year. I am looking forward to it!
maybe they should put jack and sami together- the two characters who haven’t matured in the last 15 years…..
dh = dear husband (dd = dear daughter, ds = dear son, etc.)- not totally sure, but I think that is correct.
I love this show. This and the women’s murder club that was on a couple years ago have made me an angie harmon fan; it is a character type she does very well, makes it very enjoyable to watch (and the stories and humor, etc. are wonderful, too.)
I always think of the slightly newer saying, relating to STDs- when you sleep with someone, it is like you are sleeping with everyone they have ever been with. which means everyone in salem has pretty much been with everyone else, including everyone in their own family. (i.e.- EJ slept with Sami and Kate, Kate slept with Roman. *shudder*)
Maybe they should pair Roman up with a woman whose name starts with CE, then we’d have both Magic and Romance on the show, lol. Could bring in a new character, Cecilia or ??, or, bring back Celeste….. not that I really could picture Roman and Celeste as a couple, he has already been with one woman Stefano wanted (Marlena) and one woman Stefano has (Kate), he doesn’t need another woman connected to Stefano, IMO.
it felt weird to have the ornament hanging so early, but then it was over a week later than I usually set up my tree at home, so i decided not to let it bother me. it always brings tears to my eyes.
with the shawn d ornament, and multiple characters mentioning shawn d and belle (and clare), i find myself wondering if they will be making an appearance. i would enjoy it, even if it was just a day or two- it is so much more realistic than people leaving town and never being mentioned again.
