Whoo hoo! I was a big Lumi fan. I love Rafe but he’s too good for Sami. Lucas understands her and her BS better.
but I’ve had a feeling all along that Will’s storyline would bring Lucas back. I read that Bryan has been spotted at the studio, and I believe now that it’s true, and I could not be happier about it. Rafe has been great at controlling Sami, and I would hate to see them break up so soon, but no one can take Sami out like Lucas! Hurry back Bryan. I miss you terribly, as well as thousands of other LUMI fans.

because it seems like whenever an "old" actor returns, I never seem to like them as well. I loved Anna and Caliope and that storyline was strange. And when Patch and Kayla returned they lived in a hotel room didn’t they? Family all around and they are in a hotel? And I’ve never been a big Marlena and John fan. Even though I said I was giving up watching, I tried to find the Horton tree decorating, but ended up sorta fast forwarding on Hulu and got the Monday storyline instead. Now I can see where you are all coming from on your remarks about the Will actor. He’s quite good and Sami IS really clueless! I guess the tree decorating must have been the Tuesday show. I’ll have to try again when I have 30 minutes down time.

And personally? I couldn’t care less if Lucas returns. He’ll again just be wallpaper.
I like Brian aka Lucas and he does not have to be with Sami but when there are big story liines going on it doesn’t seem real when the rest of the family is not there or even mentioned. I wish they would mention Shawn D and Belle sometimes too. Bo and Hope talk about Zach way more then their living child Shawn D.
the other day when they were getting the tree decorations out. Hope said it’d be unlikely they’d get them off the boat (or back on land?) to come to Salem. At least that’s a "mention."
But seriously, can you imagine a child and his family staying away from his family at home for THAT long? I know they can’t just bring the characters back because they "belong" there but at least make some excuse for it. Maybe they’re being held hostage the same place Jack was. :o)

I’d love for Lucas just to be back, as long as they don’t do what they do to all the old cast, make a big tadooooooooo about them returning, give them one or two days of the grand ol’ glory of the olden Day’s and then regulate them to cardboard cut-outs in the back ground. Lucas is away from Sami, I don’t want Sami to be with anyone, she is poison.
I wish that the show would have the guts to leave her out of any kind of relationship for an entire year – let her grow the hell up and then after a complete personalitylumpectomy, she is a changed, grown-up, a mature and smart woman. I don’t want Sami to go away, she’s like the theme of DOOL, a fixture. What a great thing to see her mature right before our eyes on screen. Rafe can even come back after forgiving her, she can be with Lucas, she can even be with EJ – (I just threw that in for BonoSugaRay), or even someone new on the horizon – just let her grow up first, one more weeping Oh-poor-is-me, or it’s everyone elses fault, not mine or a fly off the handle scene with her…
The greatest maturity scene that Sami has ever been in (besides Grace’s passing) is when she went totally out of her normal mode and actually followed Kate’s advice on how to deal with Madison…(and yes, I do believe Kate has an alterior motive in passing smart wisdom onto Sami – it could have easily backfired on Sami but be that as it may, it worked).
know a man in Salem who is in desperate need of some female company as it has been literally years since we’ve seen him with a woman….Roman. I think, from what I recall, there may have been a little flirty-flirt-flirt way back when between Roman and Billie as well. I could see them together if I could get past remembering she was with his brother.
Maybe they should pair Roman up with a woman whose name starts with CE, then we’d have both Magic and Romance on the show, lol. Could bring in a new character, Cecilia or ??, or, bring back Celeste….. not that I really could picture Roman and Celeste as a couple, he has already been with one woman Stefano wanted (Marlena) and one woman Stefano has (Kate), he doesn’t need another woman connected to Stefano, IMO.
