I’m a little confused, so mrs. H planned to have the key hidden in the plack, is she psychic?? How in the world did she know there would be a plaque dedicated to them in the middle of a place that was just created, or am I missing something here?
that he planted it at the instruction of the person who commissioned the plaque, and I don’t recall if he actually said who that was. It would be more than a little ironic for Alice and/or Tom to commission a plaque with their images on it, but I don’t recall if the guy who made it told Bope who it was, or if he told them he was not at liberty to say who commissioned it. Either way, I hope we get to the bottom of Alice’s secret before too much longer.
Maybe it was steffy if he and Alice were connected way back when. I’m more interested to find out how they were connected more than anything else goin on right now. Well I’m also excited about Brady and John working together but that just started. The other story lines I can’t stand. I do really like Sonny. He’s a great character, he obviously realizes will is gay.
Maybe they’ll clear it up in the future…but I doubt it. Anything these hacks can’t explain they just skip over like maybe we’ll forget about it, i.e. Quinn.
BTW, I was reading the local suppliment in Sunday’s newspaper and there’s an add for "Quinn’s Spa." I kid you not. I had to do a double take. (No martial arts though.) Guess I’ll have to check it out.
I wonder if they’re just stringing us along on all these story lines until the Feb. sweeps. Things seem to be going along very slow on a lot of the storylines.
i watch sporadically, so i could be wrong, but i think that man who made the plaque told them mrs. h’s lawyer (i believe the same one who stonewalled bo and hope/ gave them a cease and desist order but later tried to help them) was the one who instructed him to put the key in the plaque. even if that is the case, it still begs the question, how did mrs h know to give the key to the lawyer, how did the lawyer know to put it in the plaque? was she instructed to? if that is the case, how did mrs. h. know horton plaza (and a plaque) were going to be put in place? a little too much of the stretch of the imagination here, hopefully it will be worth the wait when we find out what it is all about.
I could suggest that the Hortons had plans for the Town Square a long time ago, hoping that after their death the funds would be available to make it happen. They could have commissioned the plaque at that time and instructed the maker to put the key in. I know that’s probably a little far-fetched but at least it’s plausible…better than any explanation they’re offering us now…nothing!
Didn’t they say that Alice and Tom wanted the town square to be revitalized and left money for that to happen. If that’s the case then the money might have been in the hands of a attorney to handle and the key with instructions were given to the lawyer.
in partner’s with for the safe-deposit box? Was she blackmailing Stefano for saving E.J. or because she knows more about E.J. than Stefano would ever want anyone else to know? Is Stefano her partner in the ownership of the safety-deposit box? If so, would he not be it’s sole owner now? Or, is it someone in Alice’s family who knows the truth; perhaps Doug or Julie??? February sweeps starts in about 2 weeks (around 1/27/12) so I’m looking forward to ending this mystery, mainly because it’s tarnishing Alice’s image for me.
it would depend upon how the account was set up. If it was "joint" the other person would now be joint owner with Hope. If it was "with sole survivorship" it would belong solely to the remainding owner. In additions, there are other types of ownership that could have been used. There are all kinds of possible legalities involved that we haven’t been privy to.
I will not for a minute believe Alice was involved in any kind of blackmail or any other such thing as I don’t believe these writers are cheeky enough to besmirch Alice’s reputation like that. I will be extremely disappoint if that should happen.
I can’t even begin to imagine who it could be. I don’t think it’ll be a DiMera or one of her relatives. My only guess is that it’s someone we haven’t met yet. The new character? The next thing that’s got me scratching my head is what could possibly be in the box. I just hope that after all this lengthy build-up, we’re not disappointed.
form – I would start such a letter writing campaign on this board and any others I could find – to tell them to cease and desist immediately! We have to have some hero’s and good guys (and gals) – Alice was the best of the best.
BTW – not watching show anymore but just lurking to keep up with story and you all – today house painters have the dogs and I cornered in our bedroom hiding out.
