Yes, she was on maternity leave when she was in prison. That’s how they got her off the show for a while.
I’m wondering if maybe she is pregnant again and they will write it into the story. But, I agree that we really don’t need any more babies on the show.* Nicoles relationship with EJ is way too tenuous to bring a baby into it. But if it ends up being Brady’s, that’s a whole different ballgame. That could be very interesting. I just think they’ve been apart way to long for that to happen.
*I fell asleep yesterday and woke up to General Hospital on TV and they have a little girl on there who actually can act. Imagine! I think Ciera is the only kid we’ve had in years and years who can somewhat act. Johnny has an outgoing personality and is very exuberant but I wouldn’t say he can act. And they could very well replace Sydney with a big stump.
I would imagine that there are thousands of children lined up for the few parts there are for child actors these days, so I don’t think it would be hard to find one who can act (think Ronnie Howard). I really liked the previous Sydneys they had. It would be interesting to see them back on the show.
I have heard a ton stories like this. My one friend’s wife went through multiple IVF to finally get pregnant with twins. Since they had tried for many many years before this and then the multiple failed attempts before the miracle baby they thought they were done. Well a couple years later she ends up pregant with no medical intervention. Something they and the doctors thought was impossible.
I went through fertility issues and still would not have sex without some kind of protection unless I was OK with another baby, because I have heard way too many stories like the above to take the chance.
she wasn’t infertile, her organs were damaged. I think that’s a big difference. It’s almost like saying I took your uterus out so you can never have babies and then, oops, preggers!
Maybe this is Brady’s baby. But have Brady and Nicole slept together recently enough for that to be true? I thought he and Madison have been together a while and so have Nicole and EJ. If they move the storyline in that direction, there would have to be some behind the scenes sex that took place between them.
I don’t remember when EJ and Nicole got together but they were at the opening of the Horton Square which was before Christmas.
as far as timing, there is an entire cable show dedicated to women who didn’t know they were pregnant until they gave birth, so it is possible nicole is some ways along, never giving a thought to the possibility of being pregnant, since she has been told by doctors she can’t have children. for someone of nicole’s stature, though, I don’t personally think she could be more than 4 1/2 months along before the body changes would be noticeable; that would put it possibly back to October for conception, which I think could give us another who’s the daddy scenario… unfortunately.
have to be told by someone else they are pregnant? Don’t they know how to tell. In my case I knew almost the morning after…no, just kidding, but there was suspicion there because of the time of the month. I certainly hope that not all of their cycles are so irregular they wouldn’t have even the slightest idea. Drama, drama, drama!!!
But I don’t think it could be Brady’s by any stretch of the imagination. It’s just been way too long. I mean, Brady has been with Madison long enough to propose to her and he didn’t take up with her immediately after he and Nic split. But as much as Nicole loved that first baby (did she give her a name?), I’d think she’d be thrilled to be having another, regardless of the circumstances. Her reluctance just doesn’t ring true for me.
during the first several months of a pregnancy…..some longer…..so have no reason to believe they are pregnant until they start gaining the weight. I guess what I’m suggesting is if that were the case with Nicole, then it could possibly be Brady’s child, which I would LOVE to have happen. I’m sorry, but I’m just not into Brady and Madison, especially since Ian spells nothing but trouble for them, and like Sami, I’m ready for Brady to catch a break on this show. Speaking of Nicole, I would not want to see her and Daniel together romantically, but I have to say that I did like the fact that he was supportive of her. I think the fact that she is such a high risk for carrying to term, that Daniel will be willing to do all that he can to protect her and her pregnancy from any high stress levels, which could easily cause her to miscarry.
I was pregnant. My periods were so regular that I could pinpoint the day each month and was right 99% of the time. When I wasn’t right, I was only off by a day. So, the next morning when reality sunk in, I told my husband. I had just gone off the pill and we decided to let Nature take its course. That date was December 10 and our son was born on September 7 the following year.
Unless I was trying to get pregnant and taking the test, I would have no clue ever I was pregnant until I started gaining weight and getting morning sickness. I am not regular and you would be surprised of the number of woman that are not regular. I didn’t realize it until I started talking about it with other people.
Nicole is too much of a mother tiger to let them do that. She’d literally kill them both before she’d give up her child.
And I still don’t think it can possibly be Brady’s, it’s just been too long. She’d have to be four or five months by now and she’d certainly know after that long.
On the other side of the coin, I once was four months overdue and finally decided I’d better start going to the doctor. I was NOT pregnant but my cycle had gotten off kilter. After an extremely painful hormone shot, I was back on schedule. That was a real surprise.
