but yes, Galen Ghering will be taking on a dual role.  Disgusting, isn’t it?  When Rafe is in this car accident in 2 weeks, which I’m sure Stefano and E.J. will be behind because they are planning to break up Sami’s and Rafe’s marriage, Rafe will be imprisoned in the basement of the DiMera mansion, and an imposter will be taking his place.  RIDICULOUS!!!   AAAAGGGGGHHHHHHH, I HATE THIS SHIT!!!!!!

And you’re absolutely right, Chloe and Melanie living in Maggie’s house.  I’m beginning to think Maggie is a little loopy.  She’s also going to be trying to save Vivian at the same time, and promises Victor a date (really????) if he’s frees Vivian.  Honestly, the woman doesn’t know when to stay out of things.   She’s becoming as annoying to me as Caroline.

with an imposter……at least that’s what I read.   I said it before, and I’ll say it again….if they return to the Sci-Fi bullshit, I’m done with this show.

but, alas, unless they read this board and something hits them on the head saying, ‘hey, that’s a great way to redeem E.J.’, I’m afraid they’ll keep the guy just the way he is, because with Chad arriving on the scene soon, E.J. will become obsessed with losing power, including power over his children and Sami, but your idea is perfect for the character of E.J., and I would absolutely love to see your vision for this character unfold on screen.  I just don’t have high hopes for it after reading some of things E.J. and Stefano have planned for Rafe and Sami.  Disgusting.

because even though I will never approve of what she did or how she did it, and don’t believe she should be forgiven for her acts anymore than E.J. or Sami or any other villain should, I love the actress, and God knows that woman can act.  On topic, however, I think I read that E.J. does marry Nicole, but there will be a triangle with Taylor once she arrives (Jan. 26th) so it must happen pretty quick, maybe in the next two weeks E.J. and Nicole will marry.  I just want the mess between E.J. and Sami to end, but I’m afraid E.J. and Stefano will have some plans in store for Rafe now that E.J. will be allowing Sami back into the kids’ lives.  It just never ends with him.  That’s why I so desperately want them to either fix the character or fire the actor.  He isn’t going to change, even though he will become enamored with Taylor.  He will be married to Nicole, fall in love with Taylor, but still be trying to destroy Rafe because he can’t stand that he won Sami.  Disgusting.

especially with Bo and Hope on the run and not being there for Caroline, and maybe it would have revived Roman, cause only God knows where he’s been through any of this or through Sami’s crisis with Johnny; but, unfortunately, it was merely a plot device intended solely to bring out the reveal.  Too bad, because it would have provided the writers and the actors portraying the Brady clan a highway of possibilities to work with.  I would rather see the writers not even go there with a health issue storyline than to botch it the way the did Caroline’s symptoms leading up to, and then the rapid recovery from, her stroke.

has been amazing.  I have found that characters, whether I hate them, love them, or simply love to hate them, have brought a certain humility to themselves, realizing that this one little boy has made each of them realize how much they need one another, not for their own sake, but for his.  I thought I was going to despise this storyline, but I find myself hoping that it continues, if only to show how a life or death situation of one small boy can make each one involved in his plight seem to be putting him first and at least making an attempt to tolerate one another for his sake.  I don’t know how long it will last, but for now it is exactly the way it should be.  I congratulate the writers, directors, and the amazingly talented actors involved with Johnny’s story.  It has brought out the best in all of you.

that Johnny would be needing some chemo and radiation.  That was one thing I thought the writers overlooked mentioning with the first surgery.

Wonderful acting today; terrific script; sad but enormously believable.  Had my heart breaking, but everyone coming together for little Johnny’s sake was a blessing to behold.  Sure, E.J. is extremely jealous of Rafe, but I think more-so because he knows Johnny loves him and he can’t stand that fact.  But he did manage to be civil, and that, in and of itself, was miraculous.  Everyone was brilliant today.  Now, if the writers can continue along these lines by having the doctors save Johnny’s eye, I would be thrilled.  Here comes the change I’ve been hoping for in E.J.,  He finally gets it, and so does Sami, that THE most important thing they can do to help their son is exactly what they did today.  I just hope it continues.

and I think he’s still good looking.  Hey, he’s 60 years old, is 6′ 2" and weighs 212 lbs.  Eddie seems to be doing something right.  I hope he’s around for a little longer, anyway.  Maybe once this is all over, Bo and Hope can talk him into teaming up with them at the Salem P.D.

I think they’re handling it very carefully, realizing how much the fans love these little guys who play Johnny.  I haven’t seen, read or heard anything about an eye transplant, but it wouldn’t be beyond belief for Stefano to DEMAND it, knowing that Dr. Ben Walters is in on the scheme.  But it definitely would be a difficult lump to swallow if that’s the way they’re going with it.  I’m hoping that from yesterday’s show that they save Johnny’s good eye, sight intact, and in due course he gets a prosthetic eye that will look and move like a real one (which, undoubtedly, will be his real one), and Carly and Daniel will realize just how good they are together through it all and begin to heal themselves.  Sorry for those who want it, but I think Daniel and Chloe are done, and Daniel and Carly are the future.

and he won’t stand for losing what he believes is his to control.  However, Stefano sees Chad as a brand new soldier, one he can train from scratch (even though I’m not sure Chad will ever let that happen).  He might look at Chad as the son he always wanted and shower him with affection and dazzle him with something Chad has never had …. power, money and hoards of those who will fear him.  I’m really looking forward to this new DiMera storyline, especially if and when Chad accepts who he really is.  If truth be told, I can’t wait for E.J. to get knocked off his pedestal.

because up until Maddie died, Kate wanted nothing to do with her.  Then, when she discovered the birth certificate and realized Chad was Stefano’s son, followed by the horrendous rejection Chad received from his thought-to-be father, D.A. Woods, the guilt started piling up on her.  Chad simply mistook it for her making a pass at him.  I don’t think that was ever her intention, nor do I think it ever will be.  I think Kate really has grown to love Stefano.  Maybe she’s trying to replace Lucas with Chad.  It will be interesting to see the progression of their relationship if Kate and Stefano do reconcile and Chad allows himself to become a DiMera in every sense and they all become reunited (which I really believe will happen).  I like the relationship and witty quips between Victor and Kate, but I’m really hoping that Stefano will realize how much he loves Kate as well.

because her actions now go against everything we’ve ever known and loved about Kayla Brady-Johnson.  But, her mamma bear claws are coming out now.  I agree, Stephanie needs a shrink.  She’s beautiful, has a job (something we don’t see a lot of in Salem), she’s intelligent, and Nathan was beginning to fall in love with her.  The writers told us they were going to turn Stephanie toward the dark side, but they didn’t say she was going to be sucked into a black hole.  Kayla sure has been Caroline Brady’s daughter through all of this.  It’s like a family trait they all have with not allowing their children to make and pay for their own mistakes.  Guess there is something to ‘like mother like daughter, like father like son after all (Caroline/Kayla; E.J./Stefano).  OMG, poor Allie and Johnny …. they’ve inherited the worst thing imaginable …. both sides of the coin).

being at the heart of the blame game; however, too many people put themselves in a predicament where they can be seen as the interloper.  Why can’t somebody, for once, use common sense (a rarity in Salem, I know) and simply confront the person(s) they are doubting?  Why couldn’t Chloe simply tell Daniel as soon as that male nurse set her up per Vivian’s instructions; why couldn’t Philip confront Melanie and Nathan as soon as he saw the kiss; why do these numb-nuts have to take it upon themselves to do their own sleuthing, always coming to the wrong conclusions?  It boggles the mind.  Even though Chloe and Philip are totally insecure in their relationships, I was always taught to believe half of what you see and nothing of what you hear.  So, IMO, they are the only ones to blame for this dreaded snowball effect on their lives.  We all know the ole’ addage, ‘you can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make him drink.’  Sorry, but they deserve to be in the position they’re now facing.  As for Vivian, Carly, Caroline, Stephanie, and even Kayla and Nathan, they all contributed to pushing the snowball downhill, so I have to put some of the blame on them, but this whole mess could have been avoided by immediate confrontation.  Instead, it was easier to get drunk and jump into bed (in this case, on the sofa) with one another.  Now, I have to suffer through the aftermath of their stupidity.  Simply put, it leaves me cold and uncaring if these types of characters would, in fact, just ‘ease on down the road.’  Oh, and Sami, just STFU and listen for a change.  You made an ass of yourself yesterday.
