Does anyone else think that the relationship between Chad and Kate is borderline bizarro? I certainly would not be chummy-chummy with one of my mom’s friends who I just met within the last year! I just sense some really strange vibes there and I shudder to think that the writers may be contemplating pairing these two romantically! Just speaking after watching Monday’s show when the two of them were talking in the Brady pub when she told him that it was true that she was no longer with Stefano. Maybe there are more scenes between them on Tues/Weds show as I am trying to catch up on my viewing.
I seriously doubt they are going in that direction. I mean Kate has bedded younger men but this would be a bit much. I think they are trying to put her in a maternal position towards Chad. She has always seemed to have a soft spot for him and there was a hint of more of a relationship between Chad’s mother and Kate besides the whole hooker/murder the congressman thing. I think this might be a plot device to get Kate and Stefano back together. Maybe she’s the only one who can get Chad to give him a chance.
time ago that had Kate interpreting Chad’s actions toward her as being romatically inclined. I’m a little foggy on how Chad reacted, but I seem to remember that he was a little taken aback by her interpretation. Does anyone else remember any of that?
I think Chad was the one that thought Kate was coming on to him. I remember I posted something about that about Kate being Mrs. Robinson. lol. GROSS. Please dont go there writers! I just hope Kate is just being "motherly" towards Chad, that she feels sorry for him. I still think that Kate and his mom were sisters. I dont think he welcomed the thought anyway, I think he was grossed out that he thought his buddy’s mom was coming on to him!
because up until Maddie died, Kate wanted nothing to do with her. Then, when she discovered the birth certificate and realized Chad was Stefano’s son, followed by the horrendous rejection Chad received from his thought-to-be father, D.A. Woods, the guilt started piling up on her. Chad simply mistook it for her making a pass at him. I don’t think that was ever her intention, nor do I think it ever will be. I think Kate really has grown to love Stefano. Maybe she’s trying to replace Lucas with Chad. It will be interesting to see the progression of their relationship if Kate and Stefano do reconcile and Chad allows himself to become a DiMera in every sense and they all become reunited (which I really believe will happen). I like the relationship and witty quips between Victor and Kate, but I’m really hoping that Stefano will realize how much he loves Kate as well.
If she can convince Chad to move into the Dimansion and give Stefano a chance, he would take her back.

and I really don’t think they would ever consider them anything more than step-son and step-parent, if they keep her and Stefano together. No, I think they will pair Chad with Abbey at some point, when she shows up in the spring. I believe she first appears in early March.
I was assuming it was Abby but I guess not, it must be Taylor. I guess she bleached her hair so she would match her sister, huh?
On second thought, I guess Abby wouldn’t be maxing out her credit card or counting the change in her purse. I guess this Taylor is going to be much different. IIRC, the old Taylor was pretty much into the churchy scene wasn’t she?
Funny, Taylor’s coming back as a blond, and Abby is coming back as a brunette. Guess they thought no one would remember what they looked like when they left.
