Participantand I absolutely love that little boy. He also plays Reed Helstrom (Vicky and J.T.’s son) on Y&R. I was surprised at how shy he was with Matt this morning. He’s pretty cool on Y&R (but now that JT took him to live in Washington, D.C., I think the child is off the show). I also liked the Ozzie Osborne (‘what’s a Bieber’??) LMAO at him anyway, even if I can’t understand a word he’s saying.

Participantthe sooner the better. As much as I do NOT want to see Kate raise this child, he certainly would be safer with her right now than with Chloe. I’m sort of hoping that when JKJ leaves the show, they decide to have him take Parker with him, or, preferably, that Parker really is Dan’s child and if or when Chloe is ever cured, Daniel files for permanent custody and wins. Chloe is too much of a whacko to be responsible enough to have a child. Her score for dealing with a crisis….. ANY crisis …… is zero. I really believe she would not care a crap about Parker anyway …… it’s all about losing Daniel.

ParticipantI think we’re looking at our first quad in a while; E.J./Nicole/Taylor/Brady. Nicole was extremely jealous of Taylor back in the day because of Lucas, and now she’s going to relive that jealousy, IMO, with E.J., and I would not be surprised if they put Brady in the mix as well.
As for her and the Carvers, I have to keep asking myself, would I be happy inviting a woman into my home whose mother is my husband’s ex-lover, and whose brother is mine?????

Participantto give Sami another child, but I wouldn’t doubt that at some point in the next few months faux Rafe does fall for Sami. I don’t know how they intend to keep people interested in this guy if he doesn’t finally do something really revealing. He keeps talking his way out of situations, like he did with the necklace, but more and more people are starting to notice that Rafe just is not acting right. I still think it might be Nicole who discovers it, because she, more than anyone, knows Rafe well, and she knows how much E.J. hates him, but I just wish it wouldn’t drag out too long, especially if they keep Rafe2 the way he is now. So far we got some questionable looks of wonderment from Sami, Johnny, Nicole, and now Gabbi. Maybe once Taylor takes E.J.’s mind off the Rafe situation, his plan will begin to unravel and him and his father will both go down. At least I have never wished for anything harder in my life. As for Rafe2 getting Sami pregnant, that would just about do it for me, too.

Participantthat will FINALLY rip him out of Sami’s world for good, I’ll be happy to have her around forever, even if she CAN’T act.

ParticipantThat’s what I am more interested in knowing. Who is this guy and where did he come from. I hope they will let us know at some point; otherwise, this story will be even more ridiculous than it already is. You don’t just pull somebody off the street and completely rearrange his face, unless, of course, you’re still living in the days of Al Capone and Stefano DiMera isn’t even in the same category as the true, blue mafioso. I want to know who this guy is more than I don’t.

Participanta lot worse for Chloe before it begins to get better, and also open a huge can of worms for Daniel as well. But, I have to believe that again, the lies, the secrets, the reveal, and now the aftermath are Chloe and Philip’s fault. It’s going to be a sad, sad story, especially where poor Parker is concerned. He’s the one I really feel sympathy for. Poor little guy doesn’t stand a chance at stability in his life, even with Maggie, whose house of live-in misfits has it’s own revolving door.

Participantand I agree with you, Nora, I was very surprised at Randy and Steven giving the belly dancer a pass. However, it was easy to realize that the impression she made on them was purely physical. She wasn’t too bad in the singing competition, as most were last night, but certainly not anywhere near the talent we’ve seen in other cities. Maybe they really just did not have enough good singers last night, I don’t know, but I expected most of last nights contestants to be stopped way before they were. It looked like J-Lo was totally frustrated, even though she tried to grin and bear it. I thought the Latino gal was good, but way too confident to believe she would be good enough to enforce her dream of becoming the first Latino AI, IMO. Whew, one more week of this, then the show really begins for me.

Participantbefore I finally realized it was a set-up to show us some of the whack jobs we thought were being left out this year. The entire show was probably planned that way, but it sure did tick me off when I realized that I gave up watching AMC on SoapNet for that hour. The two brothers were by far the best for me. Their attempt at comedy didn’t impress me, but at least they could sing. Unlike the last dude who looked more like a combination of a really bad James Brown impressionist, and Bozo the clown. Hope this poor guy really was putting on an act; if not, he’s in big trouble. Thank goodness we’re finally getting to the first Hollywood round.

Participantwe haven’t even begun to see some of the whacky things he’s going to do after he comes home, and more than one person will begin to start wondering ‘who are you, and what have you done with Rafe?’ I’m thinking one of them will be Johnny.
Patti
Participantyou could see it was very painful to both of them, but they thought enough of one another not to deny it …. Bo was still in love with his "Fancy-Face." I thought it was very well done.
People were just beginning to warm up to Kate, but that was, of course, because of her relationship with Stefano. Then the writers had to go and spoil a good thing once again by having her return to her wicked, wicked ways. She certainly would have had plans to get rid of Chloe once and for all, but now she need not dirty her dirty little hands. Chloe will do it for her. I think Nadia is playing this part well, too. She is very convincing with going from hysterically begging Daniel’s forgiveness to what we now see before us …. a broken young woman sinking further and further into depression so as to disappear within herself. I think this story is one that I must say is being well written, and Nadia is knocking it out of the park most days. But, I still find it hard to hate Kate as much as I do E.J., maybe because LK pulls her villain off so much better.

Participantshe didn’t seem so jumpy or nervous, and the silly giggle after each line was eliminated today. Nicole was a lot more tender with her today, but still sort of rude in a condescending way, offering her money and then telling her that ‘she has plenty of it.’ From where, E.J.? And how long does she think that’s going to last? I’m sure by now she’s been fired from Titan, but that’s another dropped storyline for now. As for E.J., I wish Rafe would have found the strength to grab that cigar and put it out in E.J.’s eye. That stupid grin and that awful fake laughter. I watch only because I know that he will be taking on a whole new direction once he meets Taylor, and so will Nicole for that matter. I swear to you, for this entire week, E.J. and Stefano reminded me of none other than Tweedle-Dum and Tweedle-Dumber. When was the last time we saw the DiMeras acting so stupid? Really, I mean hi-fiving each other in the hospital, so proud of their plan. Then Stefano’s "Damnation" after haging up the phone when he heard, I assume, his prison crew was busted; but what really sent me over the hill was when E.J. first looked at faux Rafe after being convinced it could/would work, grabbing his face in his hands, pursing his lips, and kissing his fingers with the Italian innuendo of something sweet or good here. I swear to God, I thought he was going to kiss him. No wonder James said in his interview that the writing was "F…ing Stupid." I still believe this might just be his exit story. Well, I can hope, can’t I?

ParticipantHow a patient (in this case, Johnny) can have their eye removed due to retinoblastoma and be home in two days; yet, when the disease is found and cured in the other eye, with no loss of vision, patient still remains in the hospital two weeks later. They don’t make you stay overnight for chemo/radiation;
I love how absolutely no one in Salem has any peripheral vision whatsoever;
I love how a person can talk to someone for 5 minutes, and the person they were talking to responds with "what are you saying";
I love it when a vet is returned to the show, but is hardly ever seen, and seemingly has little or no future story on the horizon; but mostly;
I love it when I see old pics from years gone by where a veteran character, still with the show today, is holding a baby in her arms at a family wedding, and today that baby is the father of two of her children (Sami and Baby E.J.) LOL!

Participantand thought he was retiring completely. God knows, he sure doesn’t need the money, but he is still a very funny and entertaining host of that show and has been for how many years now? I love his wife, Joy, when they work together as well. If he is going into other areas, then good for him, but I was under the impression he was retiring from show business altogether. I hope he does continue somewhere, and he and Letterman will probably still be working until they drop. Hard to believe David Letterman has a 7 year old son.

ParticipantSteven and J-Lo are a huge hit, not only with the fans, but with the media as well. They are making the show so much better. They all looked like they were having so much fun last night. I liked John Wayne (forgot his last name) last night, too, and I liked the last fellow as well. He was very talented for 19 years old. Had sort of a jazz/rock way of singing, and he was terrific on that instrument he played. But, I think my favorite was the real-life couple. What a beautiful couple, and boy, could both of them sing. I predict they will go very far, maybe right to the finals. Loved, loved, loved them. Awwww, AI’s first strikingly adorable, talented true love couple, either one of whom could possibly take it all.
