Sometimes minor roles stay around, but I think right now there is not enough room on canves.  I think Troy would be interesting, but I don’t know what he would do after the drug SL.

As for teenage kids, in the last year, they have added more adults than teenagers.

    Gabi and Chad (Teens)

Justin, Carly, Vivian, Nathan, and Ari (Adults)

If Max and Stephanie had worked a little harder, Mel would have never been an issue.  I also thought if Stephanie had a little patience with Max, this would never have happened.  Max just found his sister and I fellt from the beginning Stephanie was all over Max about Mel.  She needed to be more supportive about it.  I understand Mel was a troublemaker and all, but I just felt Stephanie had no patience or no give when it came to Mel.

Stephanie and Phillip’s break up had nothing to do with Mel.  It had EVERYTHING to do with Stephanie deciding to be with someone and then deciding she doesn’t like a major part of his life.  I am sorry, there is changing a man, and then there is just being too pushy.  I would be fine with Stephenia trying to slowly get PHillip out of the bad side of the Kirakis business, but this all or nothing thing had be baffled.

Then Nathan was the end for me.  Stephanie KNEW Mel liked Nathan, she knew that Mel really cared for him, and what does she do?  She does anything she can to mess it up.  Not because she liked Nathan, how could she?  She had just gotten done with Max who she "loved" so much and got un-engaged with Phillip all in less than a year, how could she already be head over heals in love with someone else.  Enough to try and steal away Mel’s guy?

Mel is NOT perfect and she has had her own issues.  But I trully felt that Mel really cared for Nathan and doesn’t have those same feelings for Phillip.  I just feel like Phillip pushed too hard and who wouldn’t break down when a cute guy you thought you really liked kept pushing.

I knew there was something about September and something about goals.  I assumed at this point the March thing wasn’t gonna be the end, so I wasn’t worried.

Max, but I thought how that ended was odd.  Then I liked her with Phillip until they got enganged to early and she started to want to "change" him.  I thought then she started to be dumb.  Now I think her with Nathan is AWFUL and she is just turning into a mean person.  She has no right to tell Phillip how to act "good" when she is not acting "good"

Stephanie also.  I also would like to see Mia go, she never is happy.  I am fine with the younger crowd, but Mia just is always too sad and serious for a teanager.  They need a lighter crowd in there and I think a new Will helps, but I think they need to have Mia leave.  Maybe her mother can come back, say she is sorry, and take Mia back.  They can go off to wherever she is living now.

When they extended it to March 2010, there was some goals that had to be met and I think after those goals were met then they were automatically renewed to another time period.  I remember reading something about this, does anyone else remember this?  So I am thinking they met those goals.  Because we should have heard something by now and with all the new actors, it seems Days is planning on being her for awhile, not a couple months.

There is NO chemistry there, this is the writers being stupid.  I am sorry, I don’t believe for a second he has feelings for Hope.  He has WAY more chemistry with Carly.  I can see Carly with Bo, you see a glipse of chemistry there, but not at all with Hope and Justin.

I loved the flashbacks, some I had never seen before.  Since I did not see Bo and Hope originally meet and get together, there was scenes I never saw before.

Hates Bo & Carly kissing.  I really dislike Bo for doing that.  He has given up on his marriage and he should be fighting just as much as Hope.  While that was not much on Hope’s side, at lease Hope did not kiss Justin.

Vivian can’t go and harm the fiancee of her "son" now can she.  So it will be interesting when it comes out that Mel is Carly’s daughter.  I then can see this phillip & mel pairing lasting for a long time.  Which I am not sure I like, they need to slow it down and see where they are with their feelings.

I could see if Sami did it for money or some other superficual reason.  Than I could understand people not calling it Rape.  But EJ put Sami in a position where she had no choice but to have sex with him.  That to me is rape.  When you are forced to have sex and you do not want to have sex, that is the definition of rape.  What option did Sami have?  Let Lucas die?

But it has nothing to do with the Rape.  I don’t think they make a good couple.  I think Sami is a different person with EJ than she is with Rafe and I don’t like who she is with EJ.  Come to think of it I don’t like who EJ is with Sami.  I think he is obsessed with her, not in love with her.  Which makes for a completely different dynamic in the relationship that I don’t like.

So you can dislike EJ and Sami and it not have anything to do with the rape.  And it was rape.

As for Sami and Rafe, I LOVE them.  I have from the beginning and I love how slow their relationship grew.  It was just a great story and I think they have a ton of chemistry.

I have been thinking this same thing.  Hope is driving me insane.  She pushes him away and then she expects him to just jump when she says jump.  You can tell that Bo is so hurt and she doesn’t see it.  How can you not see the hurt in someone you love.

Then I saw her talking with Sami.  I am sorry, but Hope has NO clue what would happen if she got her way with the kidnapping situation.  She has no clue what those crazies would have done.  So I think she is being stupid blaming Bo for everything.  Plus, Ciara would have been damaged from one day or two weeks.  So to think Ciara would be good and have no issues if Hope got her in a day, she is fooling herself.

I don’t get why Hope has to add salt to the wound all the time.  She is famous for that.  Bo is sad and hurt about Ciara and the kidnapping, so lets take his daughter away from.  That is the smart move.  Maybe Ciara would get over it quicker if Hope wouldn’t have taken her away from her FATHER!!!

While Chloe and Dan were rushed, I think it was built up enough it worked.  You had them sneaking around, you had Chloe push away, you had them come together, you had Chloe in the hospital, etc.  So when they finally got together I think it was a good climax/ending.  I also like how there is no wedding yet, it will come, but they are just together right now.

Now as for Phillip, I thought everything Victor said to him was right on.  I was cheering on Victor.  I just think it is stupid and Phillip is known for doing this.

Stephanie is the same way, jump from one relationship to another.  Which is why i liked Nathan and Mel together.  He brought out the more mature side of her, which was good.

I enjoyed the Christmas Eve and Christmas shows.  It is hard for shows to actually show two days in two hours and I think they did well.

No complaints from me.  I enjoyed the flashback and picking Nathan to read it.  Very fitting.
