Participanttime hoping California falls off into the ocean! Surprisingly enough, most of the folks I know here, with the exception of a few pocket enclaves like SF and LA, are wonderful, kind, church going, raise their kids right, hard working sane taxpayers…and the rest of us here wouldn’t mind those areas falling off into the ocean at all – they give the rest of us Californian’s a very bad reputation throughout the world.
I’m not sure why they (the PTB) aren’t doing every thing frantically to sustain this situation either, (which is why I’m so P.O.’d about it!!!!)
There are tons of every day bright American’s who have great ideas, there are scientists, entrepreneurs, who all have been on t.v. showing how their products work – some as simple as hay, some more complex…but the government isn’t doing everything it can…and certainly not 63 days into it at all. Nero fiddles (or plays golf or goes sailing) while Rome (the Gulf) burns.
I do know from doing research that Soros has ties in his money and his companies to BP…and BHO is Soro’s boy…and they want Cap and Trade (Cap and Tax – as it is so succinctly called – the bill where your and my electricity and gas bill will go up $800 to $1200 a year – and we won’t be using that much that’s just what this bill is going to go to for C&T bill) – and this is the MAIN reason I’m so P.O.’d about this situation. The gov. is using this as an excuse to pass it. Arrrrrrrrggggggggggghhhh!
I think this is the worst man-made enviornmental disaster – that is for sure, (all though the experts say it was the eight year dust bowl 80 years ago)…the guy I was listening to on the radio said that this oil disaster was worse than the Exon-Valdez on the fourth day…we at day 63 now. All I know is – this is bad…this is very bad!
No, not 53 dogs, (not that I would mind that many…sometimes I think I like dogs better than most people). I born in ’53. The "T" is for the names of my doggies that I’ve had the last 16 years or so Tasz, Terra, Ty, (all gone to the big doggie house in the sky now), but Tippy is sleeping on my foot right now. Maggie – well, she was almost 11 when I adopted her because her Mom passed away suddenly and in the estate, her relatives were going to have Maggie "put down" just because of her age. Maggie has a lot of good, sweet, poochiepoo years left in her…so as old as she was, I couldn’t change her name to begin with a "T". Tippy was adopted right off the street six years ago – and since her name was a complete mystery – Tippy because of the white tip on her Border Collie tail and how her toes sound on the tile floor…
I’m praying for you all very much! God Bless you all!

ParticipantI wanted to know! The truth always come out. Always. And especially since this is a soap – the truth may be dragged out for years but it will end up smacking Chloe in the face some day! She thinks she’s got problems now…

Participantthe favorite night of the week…(we only had one more day of work before the weekend!)…I don’t dread MOANdays anymore!

Participant(after getting up at 4 or 5 a.m. for 38 years), is 7:00 a.m. even on weekdays (which when you’re retired every day is a weekend)! I just can’t seem to sleep any longer no matter how much I try to sleep later…either all those years of conditioning to wake up so early or I’m just older and don’t need as much sleep! Although, a nap in the afternoon after Day’s is over on the couch for 20 minutes is very nice! And we sure didn’t get to do that at work, (and that’s when I really needed one!)!!!

Participant"government" is not allowing American’s to roll up their sleeves and pitch in…like we always have for over two centuries…
Can you imagine George Washington turning down volunteers to serve at the Revolutionary War? We’d still be under the Brit’s rule! And in WWII??? Without all the civilian volunteers (mostly women and children because our men were overseas taking care of the enemy) to collect old tires, roll bandages and patrol the shore lines? We’d all be "Sprechen sie Deutsch"! Or if on that black day in September on the 11th the thousands of volunteers that stopped their busy lives to help out at the horrible bombing sites had been turned away at the beginning of WWIII?
What d’he- – is wrong with our government these days? It is certainly not the American spirit of it’s citizens – I applaud you Bonbon for helping! I hope you are writing to your Congress people (fat lot of good it does these days) and letting them know of this. Thank you for being a great American!

Participantto step in with Ari, because Rafe’s broken out of jail and Sami will run back to him, and Nicole will get Brady you can see the handwriting on the wall for the summer story line…so predictable!

ParticipantYou will LOVE being retired!!! A new phase of life! And just think you are young enough to enjoy it! I retired a year ago at 56, (after working for 38 years) – and I don’t know where the days go (like JennM said) – they just fly by…but it’s on your time not the bosses! All the best!

ParticipantThere are so many tired plots – I read one time that there are only about *seven story lines that are written in Hollywood that changed to varying degrees…I think Day’s keeps it to a minimum of two – boy gets girl, boy looses girl…
*1 [wo]man vs. nature, 2 [wo]man vs. man, 3 [wo]man vs. the environment, 4 [wo]man vs. machines/technology,
5[wo]man vs. the supernatural, 6 [wo]man vs. self , 7 [wo]man vs. God/religion

Participanthow this plays out if Nathan is the one who outs Chloe and Phillip inadvertently or otherwise…and you are correct – an affair always has a way of surfacing…it may take months or years but sooner or later…

Participantdoesn’t seem to be doing too much these days unless she’s "holding down the fort" for the rest of the hospital.
If Carly would just go ahead and "rip off the bandage" so to speak and tell Daniel instead of threatening to tell him all the time – I don’t think I’d be so upset with her. Do what you say and mean what you said doesn’t exactly hold true with Carly.
And yes, you are so very correct Jenn, Daniel was the other party with Chloe when she cheated from the get go on Lucas, so it should come as no surprise to him that Chloe cheated on him…unless his ego is to big to think otherwise.

ParticipantSeems to me I remember seeing crosses/cruicifixes on the walls in hallways or was that another show somewhere in my mind? Or am I thinking of St. Mary’s Hospital that they used to show in Salem?
And on the subject of Chloe (and I am only halfway through yesterday’s show) where she is in confession with the priest – so she may have mentioned this and I just haven’t gotten to it yet…but shouldn’t she mention that she had the intention of murdering Carly by having her plunge to her death in the elevator? Seems to me this would be a mortal sin she should mention…the sixth commandment – Thou shall not kill – yet she is only confessing to Thou shall not commit adultery.
