ParticipantIt would give Vivy a story line now, (which isn’t much), and her payback for that (and a lot of other things) is a longggggggg time coming. Who knows? It may make Vivy into a totally new personality…it would change my way of thinking for sure!

Participantsome one else remembers those too! Thanks Bonbon!

ParticipantI don’t know much about medical practices, at all, but I knew what you mentioned Bonbon and a few other things…
Plus a few things that have always, always, always bugged the living daylights outta me is why do they keep the hospital room doors closed all the time? I’ve been in the hospital several times and the doors are wide open to the rooms unless there is a procedure going on (sponge bath, bed pan usage, etc. – then most of the time the staff just draws the curtain). In reality world, they may just close the door slightly at night so the patients can sleep, (fat chance with them coming in every three hours to draw blood or something).
Why does Salem Hospital only have "private rooms" (nothing is ever private anyway in Salem)! Why can everyone just waltz into a hospital room in Salem? Like Hope did from the other room? (That has happened a lot in that hospital).
In my little town, you have to give your name and other info to visit a friend or relative there to a guard at the door and then he gives you a visitors badge during visiting hours only! Why wouldn’t Roman and Abe check the visitors log????
Arrrrrrrrrgh… I think I look at the show more now for these kinds of things as opposed to the actual story line.

Participantred side of the color spectrum…it was a cute dress and Sami is a cutie. Wonder if she’s still on that "sugar busters" diet that she did a few years ago?

Participantand will Hope be charged with attempted murder because that’s exactly what she did…(what am I saying – this is Day’s after all)…

Participant(I saw purple not blue on my t.v.); I’m sure just about any store like Macy’s, Nordstroms, Forever 21, etc., would carry the style…it’s actually a very old style as we wore those the exact same dresses 35 to 40 years ago in HS…if you wait long enough and what was once fashionable will come around again.
Remember Ms. Spears school girl look was suppose to look all hot and new styled – PLEEEEZE, all the school girls dress like that in my day, (sans showing the underwear)…but please no more striped bell bottoms or platforms or paisley please.

Participantcan’t remember the last time, and that’s not because I’m getting old, it’s the show’s repetiveness and lack of story or consistent stories…I almost can’t bring myself to watch anymore (and I was the most die-hard fan for years and years)…I like Rafe…he’s a nice, nice guy – we need nice guys on the show…but the writer’s have him in and out of a story that is going no where fast…they do that to a lot of characters, not the actor’s fault at all.

ParticipantYa hit the nail on the head there with that dear…thank goodness for the person who invented fast forward buttons!

ParticipantI got tired of her neediness about four boyfriends/men ago…I think that was back with Franco…and that was how many years ago?
Some of her stories are interesting because they involve a lot of the characters in the show. I really wish the writer’s would write her more mature now for as long as she has been a character on the show. They should take a page from "her Mom" Marlena, and write Sami now as a strong and independent woman…
I don’t think there are any on the show now with the exception of Maggie and Lexie. Alice, Marlena, Isabella, Jennifer, Julie all had their moments, but were self reliant and strong minded ladies.
Kate is conniving, Nicole is devious, Hope (was strong) but is a bit nutso now, Chloe is so wishy-washy, Carly is a one-trick pony with her "I will tell/I won’t tell" dialog, Mel is ditzy – although well-meaning, Arianna started out to be independent but turned out to be a crybaby, Viv is comedy relief when she’s not trying to off Carly.
At this stage of the game, I think in five or ten years, (if the show lasts that long of which I hope it does), Sami will be doing the same thing she is and has been doing with men all the "days of ‘her’ life".

ParticipantI’m open to anything…It would be interesting to see the old man, (Stefano), feel like he is getting a second chance with Tony, and him then favoring Chad…much to EJ’s dismay as he’s been in the "cat-bird" seat for so long now…could be an interesting take!

Participantsome times women don’t use the brains that God gave them…they want their 15 minutes of Barbie trailer-park trash fame.
I still like EJ – the character, because it would be a bland show without the "baddies" and his shinnanigans to spice up the stories, but I would never go or be with him knowing what he’s done. A memorable and interesting story always has the elements of good and evil, going all the way back to Cain and Able.

Participantbecause a lot of characters on the list are much more major players in the show…unless it’s all time and some of the characters were big time a very long time ago…I just can’t see EJ being so far down on this list…but it’s interesting to see the perspective of the list maker.

ParticipantCLASS…style and taste. You are so correct Bonbon, it was a joy to see Marlena’s clothes but also how she handled tough situations! Her "Oh my gosh…" I miss Marlena – she was a true lady…Kate is a beautiful woman but she doesn’t have that certain Je ne sais quoi…like Marlena did.

ParticipantThat is a scary thing to go through, I know that is a fear for almost every woman in her life at one time or another…
I have a friend who is my age (mid-50’s) that has not had a mammogram or PAP in 27 years because she thinks it is "icky"…(even though she has three children so she’s seen icky diapers, throw-up and every thing else with being a Mom)…I have railed at her and begged her, I’ve given her the name of my female doctor, etc.
I can’t stress enough ladies, even though a mamo is uncomfortable for a few minutes and a PAP is embarrassing – DON’T put these off! These tests save lives!

Participantyou too Bonbon…but it will happen when it’s suppose to happen and you will be better off for it. Plus, I entirely understand about having to have a plan for the poochies and the to and from the hospital part (same here)…if I was 3,000 miles closer sweetie, you’d be set for all of it the poochies, driving, including your meals and house dusted during your recovery time. Plus, I think that I have 20 lbs that I could give ya too
…but since I can’t just wanted to wish you all the best and my prayers for ya.
