I know we’ve discussed her hula hoop earrings, but what did everyone think of those hideous Hammer Pants? OMG, those were the worst! Who ever is in charge of wardrobe should be fired immediately. Everything about the outfit was horrible, but the pants were the topper. YUCK! If I were Lauren, I would have refused to wear that, it looked terrible on her and in front of the camera.
Madeline’s jacket was bad too. I’ve seen the actress on True Blood and she is always dressed conservatively on there, but never did she look frumpy like she does on Days. She was probably begging for them to kill her off so she wouldn’t have to wear those awful clothes anymore.
Kate’s wardrobe leaves something to be desired, that’s for sure, but I’ve seen her in a lot worse. JMHO. At least her hair has been looking better to me.
When I first saw Kate walk into the hospital with those 80’s MC Hammer pants, I couldn’t believe my eyes! I think I actually laughed out loud. It is not a good look for anyone, much less an older woman. I wonder if the actors get to pick out her own clothes. I bet they have a big say in what they wear. She may have wanted to wear them. Kate does like dressing differently, but even for her, those were ridiculous!
The pants made her look like she had a big bulge in the front. LOL!
If you’ve seen any of the styles on the models on runways they’re usually way out there and not what I would consider everyday wear. Perhaps that’s what they’re going for with Kate. A rich woman who gets the latest in fashion straight from Paris or wherever and it’s not what the normal person shopping at the malls would buy. Heck, not anything anyone with taste would buy but Kate, Vivian and Caliope when she was on had their own unique style.
I commented on Kate’s Hammer pants last week when everyone was all over the giant earrings. I usually defend her look and even like her blue streak but those pants have got to go! I thought she was going to yell "Stop! Hammer Time!"
I was too busy looking for the poodle to run out and jump through those ear rings.
Lauren Koslow is one of the hottest women on daytime. Come on Days, give her some clothes that do her justice!
shout OMG! Horrible, just horrible. First I noticed the circus hoops, then the hammer pants. OMG. WOW.
I thought she looked pretty good…until they panned down to her pants that is. OMG! What were they smoking when they put those things on her?
I think the best dressed ‘older’ woman on the show…EVER…was Marlena. She always dressed consertavely but stylish. Although I can on occasion dress rather outlandishly (accessories more so than clothing), I stronly lean toward the conservative. I don’t believe I’ve ever seen Marlena in an outfit I didn’t like. (Well, maybe her yellow wedding dress.) I’d just once like to see Kate dressed like Marlena, just once. I bet she’d be very attractive.
