I know that the speculation is that Chad is Stefano’s son even though it doesn’t seem right, timeline wise but we know that doesn’t make any difference in Salem. But I was wondering…what if Chad is Tony’s son? That could be interesting between EJ and Chad since Tony was the "favored" son. Just thought it might put a different spin on it instead of him being Stefano’s. Whaddya think?
I’m open to anything…It would be interesting to see the old man, (Stefano), feel like he is getting a second chance with Tony, and him then favoring Chad…much to EJ’s dismay as he’s been in the "cat-bird" seat for so long now…could be an interesting take!
Tony was locked on that island for 15-20 years so how could he be the father except with Days’ time warps? Using some sense of time and logic: Chad could be EJ’s child as he went to law school somewhere and maybe he met Madeline and had a brief fling. He never saw her while they were in Salem, did he? Since Sami is old enough to have Will, EJ should be old enough to have had Chad. Maybe EJ’s first experience was with hooker Madeline? lol
That’s what I was thinking Pammydog. Might be interesting.
As for the time line…well easier to believe Chad is Tony’s son than Stefano’s, I think. Stefano is like what 100, LOL. According to that video he knew Madeline when she was VERY young except she"saved" his life so I am sure he had a hand in her education, law school and all, so they kept in touch BUT if you’re talking about the time warp, well, it is a real stretch to think Stefano fathered Chad. Madeline had to be what, 40-45 (in real people’s timie)? so that means Stefano would have had to be with her AFTER she finished law school and somehow I don’t see her doing that. In my opinion of course. Just think it would be fun if it was Tony’s son for all of Pammydog’s reasons.
I was thinking the same thing. Maybe Chad is Tony’s. But this is Days and I don’t think they are so creative as to think that way.
If that’s the case, wouldn’t EJ realize who she is? After all, Madeline’s fairly known around Salem; plus, EJ is in the Law field…If they had a fling at one point (that brought about Chad), I’m sure EJ would remember her (especially she was his first).
Well…for one thing, he does resemble EJ!!!!! Whether he is EJ’s or Stefano’s, he’s right in line with the Grandpa Santo!
Didn’t we just see his birth certificate and he is 20? how is he just graduating from high school? Details…
What is he still doing in high school? Unless it has something to do with where they sent him away when Mia got pregnant. I forgot what he did…drugs?
And that was definitely not a certified birth certificate. No way, no way. But it DID show that Madeline was his mother so apparently they have decided to drop the adopted part. Unless they just go with him being adopted by Joe Isuzu. I don’t remember, is Chad’s last name Woods?
the other day but in another thread. If Madeline is his biological mom, what happened to him being adopted? So now I guess we are to assume that he was adopted by D.A. Woods after he married Madeline, which probably is why he doesn’t know about her past anymore than Chad does. He gave me the impression that he was proud of her being nominated for a Court of Appeals judge. I’m sure now that he has no knowledge of her "working" days with Kate. So now I’m wondering if Nicholas Alamain could be his biological father. If Kate had an illicite interlude or two with Nickey back in the day, perhaps Madeline did, too, and since Kate and Carly are good friends, she could have the same response if Chad is an Alamain. Just a twisted guess; he’s probably Stefano’s kid. By the way, just how old was Nick when him and Kate did the horizontal mambo anyway? Wouldn’t we just love to see that little secret come out to Carly about one of her dear friends, who is telling her not to trust Chloe because she cheated on her (Kate’s) son.
My cousin adopted his granddaughter and she was issued a new birth certificate. It had him listed as the father and no mother was listed since he was divorced at the time and adopted her on his own.
Her original birth certificate has his daughter (bio mother) listed as mother and no father listed.
I think he was probably in his early 20s when he and Kate were, um, involved. So that means he would have to be at least 40+ now. Can you imagine how old that would make Carly? I know she was young when she had him but even if she was 16 (which would have been VERY young), that would make her 56 now. No, I don’t think so. Although I’d LOVE to see Nicky return, especially if it’s the same actor.
I’m holding out for him being Tony’s. Logistically it’s probably a little far-fetched but I just think Stefano has way too many kids coming out of the woodwork. Also, I think there could be a lot of potential with him being Steph’s g.son and a way for him to atone for his final treatment of Tony. But, that’s JMHO.
she was 16 when she had Nicky and that is why Vivian took him. She wasn’t even out of HS at the time. As to Nicholas, he was in his mid 20s I think when he and Kate did the deed but she was also a lot older as she had adult children in Austin, Billy and Lucas. I just don’t see him being Nicholas’. I could see him being a child of Lawrence’s before that and the physical resemblance could also work.
