One of the managers where I work had breast cancer a couple of years ago and was cancer-free for the past year. I found out yesterday that it is back and she is now undergoing radiation treatments. Please remember Nancee in your prayers. Thanks!
That is a scary thing to go through, I know that is a fear for almost every woman in her life at one time or another…
I have a friend who is my age (mid-50’s) that has not had a mammogram or PAP in 27 years because she thinks it is "icky"…(even though she has three children so she’s seen icky diapers, throw-up and every thing else with being a Mom)…I have railed at her and begged her, I’ve given her the name of my female doctor, etc.
I can’t stress enough ladies, even though a mamo is uncomfortable for a few minutes and a PAP is embarrassing – DON’T put these off! These tests save lives!
be saying prayers for Nancee. I am sure this must be very frightening. I pray the Lord will bless her with strength, courage, endurence, and a complete recovery.
