and I can’t remember, but does Daniel realize just how many other people we were led to believe screwed with that paternity switching madness other than Caroline?  Let’s see, there was the nurse at St. Mary’s, Carly, Ian and Stephanie, Nathan, Caroline, …. who am I forgetting?  If he had any idea just how many tampered with that test result, he certainly should demand, not request, that a new test be performed.  So should Philip, and surely so should Chloe.  Those results probably went back and forth so many times, it’s like trying to keep count of how many times the ball crosses the net at Wimbledon.  I know we’ve had to face more than our share of WTD storylines, but this one is by far the most idiotic.  Poor little Parker …. everyone thinking of their own humility and hurt, when this little guy should be first on everyone’s mind.

still not holding a grudge against Victor for choosing Maggie over her.  We all know that Vivian never quits.  I think he will still be her main target, although Brady will be right beside him if and when she does decide to strike again.  This time, though, she had better be careful when she tries to mess with Brady.  That’s twice now he would simply have left her to her die and thought none the less of himself for it.  He seems to be growing darker and darker.  If Vivian doesn’t see that as well, she really is a crazy ole’ bat.  I think Brady will wind up being a bigger threat to her existence than Victor now.

I think he’s using Nicole all the way.  He mentioned something to Stefano about Nicole being part of his plan, knowing that the more Sami sees Nicole with Johnny and Sydney, the more it will destroy her, and that’s exactly what it does every time.  Even Nicole said yesterday that she thought E.J. was purposely setting them up to fight, and that he saw it as some sort of "glorified mud wrestling" match (I thought that line was so funny, yet so true).  I think he will have everyone believing that he is still in love with Nicole, but deep inside that empty cavity in his chest, its all about Sami, and whether or not he truly falls for Nicole’s sister will always be questionable to me, because all E.J. cares about is getting revenge on Sami, and he remembers only too well all of the atrocities Nicole managed to hide from him as well.  So, anything they show me with regard to feelings for Nicole will be the facade that E.J. uses so well when he is acting one way, but planning another.  If they do marry, I wouldn’t be surprised if it didn’t last too long.  Nicole knows him too well — better than Sami, evidently.

to TPTB, when people get from place to place, some half-way around the globe, in the blink of an eye.  The map Brady showed to Kate indicated that island was so remote, it wasn’t even named.  Yet, they got Brady there via helicopter, then returned Vivian and Gus to Salem (where did he drop Gus off, anyway), all in the same day.  It’s beyond belief, but something we should all be used to by now.  I agree about Gus — he’s starting to look sorta’ cute to me.  But I will never, ever understand his affection for Madam Alamain, although he was starting to give her a dose of herself.  However, that would be one age difference I couldn’t live with.  He could be her grandson.

she looks like she belongs in a lumberjack camp.  Nicole looks good most of the time, but some days her outfits are just plain butt-ugly, Maggie is as close to looking like a grandmother as possible, and Caroline looks better than her on most days.  Wake up wardrobe!

but the one I can definitely do without is one that you did not mention, and that’s the whole Melanie pregnancy fiasco.  Melanie all by herself gives me a headache.  A pregnant tummy holding, morning, noon and night sickness, with crying, sighing before each line, and stuttering in-between them is enough to make me wish Nathan would just kidnap her and take her with him when he leaves.

the Steelers did it in their usual impressive style.  You’re on your way to Dallas.  Might not be as easy against the Packers, though.  May the best team win!

did they make him; did they clone him; is he robo-rafe?  I mean GG is taking on a dual role for this farce, so where/how did Stefano come up with Rafe2?  Is he who he used the organs for?  This is what will determine, for me, if I am even going to be able to get interested in this story.  Did Rafe have a twin we never knew about and Stefano somehow found out and had him kidnapped and returned to Salem, only to recreate him as Rafe?  I’m trying to imagine just how this guy gets created in the first place.

for the first time in I don’t remember how long, I was cheering Stephanie on; not because I suddenly developed a change of heart for this character, but Chloe could have bided her time in dealing with Caroline.  She almost brought on another stroke for Caroline, and although I totally agree that Caroline was wrong in what she did, Chloe had more than one opportunity to tell Daniel and Carly and everyone else concerned with her predicament, the truth of the matter.  Maybe Daniel would have forgiven her; maybe he wouldn’t, that’s the risk you take when you cheat…..with your stepdaughter’s husband, and tell one lie after another to cover it up, no less.  The lengths she went through to hide it, though, brought about the demise of her marriage.  Caroline was wrong, yes, but when you think about it, Caroline never did want the truth to come out, Kayla did.  So Chloe’s rage on Caroline at that particular time was sad and pathetic, and I was screaming at Stephanie to grab her by the hair and throw her out the door.  I have no doubt she will be going over the edge from it all, but she and Philip brought this on, not Caroline, Kayla, Stephanie, or anyone else.  Caroline didn’t destroy your marriage, it was you and Philip and the bad choices you both made. Come to think of it, I don’t believe it would have come out when it did had Caroline and Kayla known you were all inside the church for Parker’s Christening.  I’m guessing that it was simply divine intervention that finally outed you.

I have to wonder if TPTB  realize what they are doing to this show reverting back to this kind of writing, or if they even care.  Just a few short weeks ago, I was praising the writers; now that I’ve seen the plans for early 2011, I am sick to death of them once again.  Will they ever, ever learn that this is not what fans want to see.  It’s an unconscionable act on the part of Dena Higley and staff, not to mention Ken Corday, to put this kind of garbage on the table yet again, knowing how the fans feel about the past work of JER and company.  Just watch the ratings plummet over this.

in one very distinct personality …. her own.  It’s like when she is good, she’s very very good, but when she’s bad, she’s a louse.  She pulls every trick in the book to get what she wants, whomever it hurts be damned, and then always winds up getting caught in her own web of deceipt.  I have no sympathy for Nicole, because she had a good man in Brady, a man who went through hell to help her, even helping her when he knew Sydney was not her child, and all the while keeping her dirty little dark secrets, but not without warning.   He has trusted her and, God only knows why, loved her, even when she turned on her back on him just so she could stay in Sydney’s life.  Now that she thinks that will end, she runs back to Brady and dares to ask his help once again.  I am sick of her antics, and just cannot bring myself to feel sorrow for her.  I can only pity her pathetic attempt to be a mother to Sydney.   AZ pulls this roll off beautifully, because I can’t think of any other character who can melt my heart one minute with her seemingly good intentions, and find myself cheering when they spiral out of control, putting her on the road to hell the next.  She is, in fact, her own worst enemy and everything she does she winds up paying for dearly.  Too bad, Nikki; you haven’t even seen your hell yet, but it’s coming, sista’, it’s coming.
