When I saw Chloe yesterday in her jeans, I was surprised at how skinny she is. Not that she’s the skinniest person on the show, but I always thought she was more of a curvy girl but there were no curves, just straight down and very thin legs. Not a criticism, just an observation. And her chest looked smaller too. I guess without all the push-up bras that’s how it normally looks. I still liked her realistic look though as you could believe her suffering much more than if she was dresses to the nines.
She looked so different to me without the makeup! She didn’t stand out so much. She looked as a tired mother would look. Her eyes looked so much smaller without all that eye makeup on. It’s much more realistic and I too hope they leave her this way but they won’t. She’ll be back to her tons of makeup and dressy dresses in a couple weeks I bet.
I love it when someone can be in the Fiji Islands one minute, then walking through their front door in Salem in less than an hour’s time or sometimes even minutes! Remarkable!
I love it when somebody can be talking loudly behind the hospital drawn curtain and the person on the other side of it doesnt’ hear that person but when somebody is talking quietly behind a closed door, the person on the other side of the door often hears what is said.
I noticed that too! I was really laughing wondering why they were putting her heart back way down in her belly!!
Completely agree, drea4713. Kayla was the one who kept nagging her mother to tell the truth. What did Carly do differently than all the others that knew about the affair and hid it as well? Will Kayle be mad at everybody who knew the truth? Carly didn’t even know Chloe cheated with Philip until the reveal. And why isn’t Kayla getting mad at her precious Stephanie? Stephanie not only knew about the affair and knew it was Philip but wanted Ian to change the paternity results but then somebody else already had changed it from Philip to Daniel. Caroline knew more than Carly and changed the results herself. Carly didn’t. Don’t get all that hate there. This makes absolutely no sense at all.
They killed off Arianna just to bring in another sibling? Makes no sense. They should have kept her–there was so much potential with storylilnes. And after her siding with EJ, I thought they would have paired her with EJ for a while.
Absolutely we tune in to soaps for an escape. I personally don’t care if people are beautiful or not as I like the storyline and acting more than anything. And yes it’s nice to see people dressed up a little but I don’t need to see people dressed to the nines all the time (but you would expect that more from Victor, Kate, Stefano, etc). Of course I don’t want to see everybody walking around in sweats and tee shirts either but a little realism would be appreciated. Hope is in jail and they definitely toned down her makeup. Yesterday Chloe was wearing some kind of super-tight top with her boobs sticking out the top of it. And as I said before, it’s more than just her make-up and clothes, it’s the way she’s acting; it’s as if she’s playing the part of mommy, not actually being one.
I had the feeling that Sami was giving Johnny a signal that indicated she loved him. She put her hand a certain way and so did Johnny. When she snuck in to the mansion and went to Johnny’s room, I know they talked and I don’t remember if something was said about a secret gesture to know she would always love him. Maybe I’m way off.
I also believe that they fell in love with each other. You could tell that Kate’s tears were real and genuine. Even Stefano had tears in his eyes. The acting has been great from them all week but yesterday’s scene in the garden was phenomenal. I couldn’t take my eyes off of them.
What I couldn’t get over is that Kate and Stefano, two of Salem’s greatest manipulators and liars, were never so brutally honest than with each other in that scene yesterday. It was touching but nothing was sugar coated. Though neither wanted to give up who they are, the love really shined through. It was powerful.
Since they use sets, can’t they find fake trees that have bare branches or not have as many green leaves on them? Or at the very least get some trees with brown leaves or spray paint them? Just for a little realism.
I was thinking the same thing. When Hope told the warden her suspicions I couldn’t believe how stupid that was.
And what’s going on with Bo? When he found out that Hope was in solitary, did he even try to contact the prison or go there to see what was going on? I thought he may have mentioned to somebody that he’s been trying to get through to someone there, but he should have gone in person. Especially where Hope told him her suspicions a few weeks ago. So when he found out she was sent to solitary, he should have immediately known something’s up and rushed to see her or the warden. Neither Hope nor Bo is thinking like a cop.
