I said the same thing, Patti. They are the freaking police and yet Lani is keeping her mouth shut?? It’s ridiculous, boring, and lamer than lame. Not interested in this storyline so I fast-forward most of it, especially when Gabi opens her mouth while violently shaking her head up and down. I don’t mind a good revenge story but this one is not it. She’s like a 5 year old yelling “I want cookies!!!!” Blah blah blah.

I love that idea! Really clever, but because this is Days, they won’t do something different like that.

She’s like a kid always having an over-the-top temper tantrum. And I agree, there is nothing interesting about her–just huffing and ranting. Villains usually have some dimension or just that special something that makes them so interesting to watch. Gabi’s not fun to watch and it may just be the actress’s portrayal of her.

Gabi having the device that controls Julie’s pacemaker is beyond ridiculous. Of course Lani could have told Eli (and everyone else for that matter), and they could have gotten the device from Gabi and let everyone know what she was doing. They are the police! Just so pathetically dumb and Gabi is evil but keeps getting passes on her behavior.

Julie had every right to be mean to Gabi as Gabi has done horrible things. Julie can be rude and outspoken but she isn’t racist. I hope this doesn’t redeem Gabi as she helped cause Julie’s heart attack in the first place and made her condition worse by taunting her and not going for help, so giving her Stefan’s heart doesn’t make her a hero. I bet Gabi gets talked into doing it with much resistance instead of immediately wanting to do the right thing.

I feel the same about Gabi. I hope they kill her off. Don’t like the acting or the character.

Julie can be annoying with her over-the-top delivery but I wouldn’t want her to die.

I hope this isn’t the case. I don’t want to see Gabi redeemed at all. I used to like her when she didn’t have much to do, but now she is a horrible person and I immensely dislike the character. She is not a character I love to hate, but rather just plain hate her. All she does is walk around in a huff with her nose up in the air, constantly complaining and ranting. I think it’s the way she does it that irks me to no end. Gabi is like a petulant child who is always angry. I think I am just tired of the character and the way the actress portrays her. I know she supposed to be somewhat evil now, but she overdoes the part. I like a good villain, but she ain’t it.

I agree with Grockie, I hope Gabi dies and Julie gets her heart. They will make Gabi a saint, but at least Gabi will be gone.

I thought they share the same two parents, but if they are half siblings, then I think they share the same father, Clyde.

Hi Bonbon! I remember you. I don’t post here often but I do check in a lot to read the comments. You were a very active member on the board and it was a nice surprise to see your post. I always enjoyed reading your comments. I record the show but have been deleting so many episodes and when I do watch, I fast forward so much of the show that I can watch it in 10 minutes or less. I just can’t stand most of the storylines and am sick of many of the characters as well.

And yes, Peggy McCay (Caroline) did die in real life.

You’re absolutely right! Everyone should have been in shorts, summer dresses, or capris with more red, white, and blue. It somewhat took away the feel of the 4th.

Hope was in a blazer looking like she was either going to work or a funeral, not a 4th of July party. And I have no idea what Carrie was thinking: the most unflattering long-sleeved shirt. There was no rhyme nor reason what she was wearing. To me, those are important details when celebrating the 4th.

And not only the way she’s asking so many questions, but also that she looks so nervous! Guilt was written all over her face. Only an idiot wouldn’t see that.

That would be ridiculous and stupid, as is every other storyline going on at Days right now.

I remember him from Beverly Hills, 90210. He played Steve’s father. I also saw some old celebrity bowling shows a couple years ago and he was the announcer.

Since we can post spoilers here, it is Claire who set the fire.
