I’ve struggled forever with my weight.  I’m heavy but not as heavy as I once was…

My boyfriend is SKINNY.  6’2" about 180.  Lean, not an ounce of fat on him.  He can graze all day on whatever and never gain an ounce.  I just have to think about food and I put on 4 pounds.  He eats well but he eats what he wants, when he wants.  He can eat a small meal before dinner and still eat a full dinner.  If I did that I’d weigh 500 lbs.

For some folks, staying thin is easy.  For most of us, not so much.

I’ve grazed all day too – but it’s Christmas ;)  It doesn’t count LOL!

People have been criticizing her weight since she returned from the "dead".  In her younger days she was a bit heavier, but for the last umpteen years she’s been very thin, but IMO consistently so.

Most folks (male and female) seem to like to see a woman with a bit of meat on her bones, but that just seems to be the way Kristian is.  I wouldn’t read anything into it.

Lucas was never a must-see character for me.  It’s nothing personal against Bryan – I just never cared for Lucas as he was written.  He’s never been allowed to grow up and think for himself or do for himself, just like others have mentioned.

I never thought he and Sami had chemistry either (sorry)…

Ironic… "Wal-Mart’s policy"… if only they did that.  Check the country of origin on most Walmart products – "Made in XXXX" (not America).

Wal-mart has done more to kill American manufacturing and small business than any other entity in the world.

I refuse to shop at Walmart.  More people should wake up and realize that, "Save money, live better" really equals, "Send more money out of the country, eliminate American jobs".  So the place employs a lot of people but it treats them like crap too.

I don’t think that’s what Sam Walton had in mind, but that’s certainly what it has become.

I’m not sure.  There were over 400 registered on the old Main Board but that was over an 11-year period (well several of the last years I didn’t take new members) … there were plenty who were registered that no longer posted.

Ah but which incarnation of Mike Horton?  There have been plenty.  Personally I liked Michael T. Weiss’ interpretation of the character, but Roark Critchlow grew on me too… nowadays Roark would probably be the better choice if the character were to return.

I wish Ivan was back too.  I thought when they left before, they were to marry?

Or that someone would survive being buried alive (they’ve done that more than once)… or how about Viv’s tooth implant thingy that also worked as a radio receiver… or demonic possession… or returning from the dead, not only with a new face, but taller… or face transplants that make one look like a TV star (!!)  Or reversing a letal injection after the buttons were all pushed… or…or… or…

I haven’t seen the episode today yet, but come on… there’s very little that they haven’t expected us to believe!

Thoughts and prayers, Jade – so many are going through the same sorts of things.  They are right – a door will open.  Hold on tightly to each other and you’ll get through this.

I’ve seen uniformed security guards at our local ER.  They post them to guard mentally ill patients who are on suicide watch until they can transport them to a mental health facility.  They aren’t police officers, but I imagine they would post a uniformed officer with a criminal.

You may need to refresh your browser to get rid of "new" flags when you’ve already viewed the new posts in a thread.  I know if I click a thread, read the new posts, then use the "back" button to go back, it will still say "new" in that thread.

If I refresh, the "new" flag goes away, or if I return to the forum using the breadcrumb menu at the top, it goes away.

I doubt that John Clarke will ever be back, except in photos and flashbacks (maybe).
