If I remember correctly, it was Andre who did all that to Benji, not Stephano. He was pretty upset about all that. But to Tony, yes, I think he did all that.
that Ej will have a memory of Melanie from when he was beaten up. He will somehow blackmail someone so that he doesn’t have to give up his kids or go to jail or something. Yuck, EJ getting away with everything again.
I think Lexie will become suspicious of Jen in relation to Ej’s beating or something??
I really like Dan and Jennifer together and am glad he seems to be going for someone his own age and maturity level. I really like him and glad he is being written better. I hope they keep them going, I think it’s a great pairing.
I love Sami/Rafe being back together and now working with Bo/Hope to birng down the DiMeras.
I actually enjoy seeing EJ battle this indecision of whether to be bad or good. He always makes me believe he’s pure evil one day and the next like he really regrets what he’s done.
I am excited about the possiblity of John/Marlena returning, especially seeing the interaction between John & this new Brady and Marlena and Sami since she has matured a lot (in my opinion) since Marlena last left.
I know a lot of people don’t, but I really like Melanie, she seems like she’s really growing as a person, especially considering the uphill battle she faced from her childhood!
Oh, I don’t agree with what Brady did at all! I’m just saying I would rather have a better explanation for his anger, that’s all. Yes, I think Brady should be just as angry with his grandfather about Arianna’s death as EJ. I am really tired of seeing a flask or drink in his hand. We get it, he’s an alcoholic. I think it’s somewhat contrary to how a lot of alcoholics like Brady would act, though. I would think as a corporate type he would hide his addiction a little better. Most of the alcoholics I’ve known don’t constantly parade around with alcohol!
I know Nicole and Brady were together while he thought Chloe was dead and then left Nicole as soon as he found out she was alive. I know he says he forgave Nicole for lying to him about Chloe, but forgivng and falling in love with someone is quite different. I never saw the chemistry between them that first time anyway, it seemed like a rebound thing for him and she was totally desperate. Then when did they supposedly fall back in love? When he came back and Nicole did, too, she pretty much went right to EJ. Then Brady was trying to be a friend to her that whole time she was lying to EJ. I don’t know, I guess I never bought that his love for Nicole was ever that strong. I never saw him as being desperate or needy, just caring. I like the idea of his hatred for EJ stemming from his dad being shot. I think it’s more in character with Brady and makes for a much better story. And what controversy it would bring up for people on the show to acknowledge that EJ shot John, both a DiMera AND a Brady, whose son is a Kiriakis!
As far as Taylor goes, I haven’t watched the last couple months very regularly, but did Brady & her get that close? If it were me I probably wouldn’t care much about her getting hurt. It seems as though she’s had plenty of warning and doesn’t want to listen. I can’t wait to see the look on her face when she realizes that EJ’s evilness caused her mother’s death! The overtones should be interesting too because it’s very similar to Arianna’s death that she forgave him for. Just like Troy was the one who killed Arianna on his own, he was employed by EJ and Rafe2 was the one that killed Faye, he was employed by Stef & EJ. Hmmm…
I would love it if they would mention that to explain some of his hatred for EJ. It never made a whole lot of sense to me for his hatred to mostly stem from what happened to Nicole. Not that I want them to be best buds, but a further explanation for the tension would be nice!
I was wondering what the point of that scene was also, maybe for Chad to see her and tell the Dimeras something?? But then Taylor came over and Rafe didn’t seem to know who she was (which makes sense because didn’t she come to town after he was switched out with Rafe 2?) and therefore assumed she was another lover of Rafe 2’s, let her see the cameo and now he’s going to figure out the importance of the cameo.
I don’t really have an opinion about this, but reading all your comments I find it interesting that no one put Nicole on that list! Has this storyline made some of you feel sorry for Nicole and softened her? I thought most of you detested her! Just curious.
Would love them to finish some of the dropped storylines like:
1. How Rafe’s fiancee Emily died.
Anyone else? I know there are more I can’t think of right now!
So Troy got out of jail, so why did he go after Melanie? And how did they figure out he ran down Arianna?
So how did real Rafe get in the psych ward? I’m guessing EJ & Stefano got him there somehow? He said he remembered Stefano somehow & being in his basement? I watched a couple episodes from last week. Why does Nicole want to stay married to EJ instead of going after Brady again? What is Viv doing with the info about Rafe?
Melanie might not have cheated on Philip physically, but she more or less had an emotional affair, which I think is just as bad!
I don’t think Stefano is mellow at all, maybe a little better at hiding his dark side, but definitely not mellow. DaysCafe even reported something about this saying his old enemies would all be surprised. I’m not sure if this is referring to the organ theft storyline or something else they’re planning.
I can understand why she wanted the truth to come out but the way she totally blamed this on Carly was rediculous! And she was so two-faced about it, she wanted the truth to come out and she wanted some people to get in trouble, but not her precious mom or daughter, who were key players in the lie.
1. Rafe-I just LOVE him: looks, personality, devotion & loyalty, yum!
2. Philip-I just have to feel sorry for him, going between wanting to make good choices and having bad destructive tendencies from his genes (both mama & daddy tend to do this!) I find myself loving scenes between him & and love interest.
3. Brady-Used to really like him, not as a doormat but with a brain and a heart. After he still wanted Nicole when she stole the taped confession and gave it to EJ and hurt his sister like that, I lost LOTS of respect for him. I have a hope that he will wise up once he’s away from Nicole for a while and realize she actually saved him by dumping him!
4. EJ-I liked him when he realized what a mistake he made by kidnapping Syd and trying to make a life with Sami, but now that he’s back to all his revenge behaviour again, yuck! I don’t understand when people are driven by such hatred and they can’t see by holding onto that they’re not hurting other people as much as they are imprisoning themselves! It’s a very unattractive quality.
