1. Please stop making the ladies on the show jump in bed with guys when they barely know them. Chloe is a prime example. Give us some strong female characters who can stand on their own two feet.
2. Give Kate/Vivian something to do besides plot and scheme.
3. Stop glamorizing alcohol. Can’t EJ/Nicole/Chloe/et al function without a drink in their hand?
4. Let some couples be happy, at least for a while.
5. If you’re going to make us think there is a money tree growing in Salem (since nobody has to actually work), at least show it to us!
I could go on, but will turn it over to fellow board members.
1. No mind control, brain chips or personality changes
2. Bring back holidays. Christmas, July 4th
3. If you have to do teen storylines over the summer at least make them interesting like the trip Shawn, Belle and the rest of the gang took when Shawn was looking for Grans Ruby
4. When Jack comes back don’t make him a dufus
1) Let there be some fun in Salem – date nights, dancing, etc.
2) Get Chloe a job maybe singing at Chez Rouge or actually show her giving vocal lessons.
3) More Johnny – love that kid!
4) Bo and Hope open their own detective agency.
5) A once a year bigtime storyline that involves all the Salemites.
6) Exit Taylor asap!1) minimal use of flashbacks (too much of a bad thing is still a bad thing);
2) make a criminal pay for his/her crime once in a while;
3) return to character-based story-lines and minimize plot-based one;
4) enough of sickening sweet Taylor; give her the backbone to stand up to Nicole or cut her loose;
5) give E.J. DiMera a life outside that damn mansion, and never involve him and Sami again, except to co-parent their children without using their kids to hurt one another.
I could go on all day, but I’ll stop here, hoping we’re giving enough hints to somebody in charge who read these boards.

3. Make sure no one returns from the dead and no one can be perfectly transformed into looking/being someone else.
4. Work with the core characters and quit bringing in new people that have no history.
5. Real life stories–no scifi crap!
6. Let a couple build up a relationship before you so abruptly tear them apart (Victor/Maggie).
1. Bring back Marlena and John. Salem definitely needs a psychiatrist.
2. Get rid of Vivian! Sorry, I know some people adore her, but I find her to be ridiculous and unnecessary.
3. Stop pairing the big boys with the little girls. Daniel and Chloe. Brady and Melanie. It’s just creepy.
4. Don’t let Sami have any more kids. Especially with EJ.
5. A little punishment for the bad guys.
6. Carley is a drug addict. We get it. We don’t have to see her fighting it EVERY time. Just get on with it. And Chad is a Dimera. We don’t have to see him fighting it either.
7. Taylor, Taylor, Taylor.

3. If you are going to have Justin, Adrienne, Lexie and Abe on then let them do something.
4. If,"HMMM" is not in the script then stop letting Stefano say it constantly.
5. Victor’s one liners are amazing so let’s keep those.
6. I know they want to bring the young cast members to the forefront but I don’t think I should have to wait a week to see Bo and Hope, Maggie, etc.
7. No more Hernandez people. Rafe is enough.
8. How about romance or happy couples instead of constant triangles. Or at least mix in happiness!
9. No recast of Philip EVER.
10. If you are going to add new characters how about some Hortons.
9. If you don’t know how to write for a character find someone who can. Do not rewrite history or change a character to the point where it is insulting to fans. Some of us have been watching them for most of the days of OUR lives.

I wish there was a way to send this information to the PTB of DOOL and let them see what you all have said! Maybe, just maybe some of the writers, and Corday would listen! Great job folks – great job!
1) Celebrate holidays…or at least have a "ball, gala, Christmas cantata" or something where everyone is together, happy and all fancy
2) Keep Bo and Hope together and work on Vic and Maggie…at least have some real love and romance on the show
3) get rid of all the "fluff" characters…
4) holidays; yes, I know that’s my #1 but I REALLY want them to go back to the Bo and Hope Annual 4th of July picnic (remember that?) the fair/carnivals (that’s where Bo and Hope first kissed), Thanksgiving?has Salem had a Thanksgiving in the past 8 years? Valentines Day…does anyone ever get candy or flowers in Salem or go to dinner?
Great ideas. And if you feel you can’t be a writer, then sit at their elbows and whisper these ideas in the writers’ ears. Maybe some of it will sink in.

The tweet was dated May 19th, and even though our "wish list" began a day later, at least we know somebody’s listening to the fans, since Salem holidays have been neglected far too long.
