I don’t mind Taylor, I liked the old actress better and personally feel if she can soften EJ up, then it is not bad at all. Gets EJ out of Sami’s life, which I am so tired of.
1. Chloe – This current SL is stupid and honestly I am sick of her all together. Phillip left, have her go to Chicago because she got shared custody and a job singing there
2. Quinn – He can go ewith Vivian and Chloe
3. Gabi – If Will is going to be Gay, no need for her anymore. Have her go live with her mother or something like that
4. Kate – Her children are gone, have her go be with Lucas and have Stephano visit her once in awhile. They can stay married, but I see no purpose for her right now.
I want to see how Dario develops, same with Abby. I like Chad, so i like having him paired with Abby and the issues that may cause. I think some of the new characters we need to give time. Don’t have the center SL, but work them in here and there and let them develop and grow on us. Many didn’t like Mel when she came on the scene, same with Chelsea, but they eventually grew on us and many were sad to see Chelsea leave. So I would like to see some of these younger characters developed more slowly.
I know everyone is saying Taylor but if they had someone decent to play her, I think the storyline might be more tolerable.
Otherwise I would like to see go…
Gabbi –Yes with Will going gay she has no one around.
Quinn–Obviously with Viv gone, why keep him.
Justin & Adrienne–They really are doing little.
Dario–Getting better as an actor but really no chemistry with Melanie.
Jack–and I agree that he was a buffoon most of the time. Maybe the next writers will make her multi-dimensional
I think some popular characters may be leaving based on what Ken Corday is saying and they hope that will soften the blow with some old favs coming back.
Time will tell………..
I don’t really have an opinion about this, but reading all your comments I find it interesting that no one put Nicole on that list! Has this storyline made some of you feel sorry for Nicole and softened her? I thought most of you detested her! Just curious.
I have always, always, always felt Nicole gets what she gives. I wouldn’t want her gone from the show, but I have no sympathy whatsoever for Nicole. She’s done more than her share of crime in Salem as far as I’m concerned, and she gets no breaks from me. I agree that Taylor and E.J. have no chemistry for now, but Tamara Braun is much better than Natalia Livingston in the acting department; however, NL was a prettier actress, IMO. Just could not stand her quirky, breathless speech. TB makes it real for me, and she is much more convincing in the role. But, on the subject of Nicole, I have she gets exactly what she deserves, just like E.J.’s going to get.
As for those I would like to see go, my choices would be:
1) Gabbi;
2) Chloe;
3) Quinn;
4) Brady (if they can’t give these 4 characters decent stories, they can all go, IMHO).
outstanding under any circumstances. I think Nicole is a bold, determined woman, who fights for what she wants, good, bad, or in between. I think AZ makes Nicole believably real, and I would hate to see Nicole leave. I may be in the minority, but I want Nicole around for a long time; she keeps things lively.
Goody
1. Gabby…boring character, story and actress
2. Taylor…tries too hard to make viewers "feel" for her -I’m not buying the "in love with EJ" story.
3. Jack…no point
4. Will…poor guy has never had a decent storyline. He’s fluff for sure!
5. Carly…who would miss her?
6. Vivian…great actress and Days history, but times are hard and it’s time to entertain with love stories, comedy is not essential imo.
just read on soapoperadigest.com that Nadia (Chloe), Tamara (Taylor), and Bren Foster (Quinn) have been added to those leaving.
like the actress Ari and the character of Nicole. The only other thing I didn’t like what Nicole did was throw Brady under the bus for EJ, after she professed that she loved Brady, had always loved Brady, would always love Brady and practically the next week she was in bed with EJ. Nicole has a lot more depth and range than Sami (who’s character has rinsed and repeated with every single man for years "Ooooo I’m so angry at him…OOOHHH I will love him soooo…Ooooo, I hate him…etc., etc.) has had in a long time. I used to think Sami and Nicole had many stories that were the same; Sami kidnapped her sister, Nicole kidnapped Sydney, Sami married Lucas – Nicole did too, and EJ but Nicole seems to have evolved as a character, whereas I haven’t seen it in Sami.
For Nicole, having a child was an unexpected surprise and awakened new feelings in her. Losing the child was devastating and in some ways she lost her mind. her obsession to give EJ a child was fueled by the realization that he would throw her over if he knew she lost that child. This led her to buying Mia’s baby. When she discovered that Sami was having EJ’s child and wasn’t going to let him know, she decided that taking it was right cause EJ would get to raise that child. Her love for Sydney outweighed her love for Brady. If she had to choose, it would be the child she had raised. That said she tried to make the best of it—-being with EJ would help her get over Brady, the true love of her life.
Nicole had a tougher life than Sami cause she had to do it all o her own, Sami always had family to help her. That made Nicole grow up fast.
