ParticipantI liked it too.

ParticipantI hope they don’t send him so far over to the dark side that he becomes another Stefano or EJ. We’ve got enough bad guys now. And Brady is just too cute and sweet to be so nasty. I can’t begin to imagine him trying to take Titan away from Victor. The way Victor has cared for Brady…that would be inexcusable.

ParticipantEJ seems to be warming up to her. Although it wasn’t a hot and heavy love affair between them before when they were married, I can’t help but thinking there is something there that’s coming to the surface again with both of them. And her actions with the kids are probably the reason. I just knew he was going to kiss her (even if it was just on the cheek) yesterday.
Oh how I hope these two can get back together. In fact, I think Stefano welcoming her back in the family may be a clue to that.

ParticipantI have to strongly disagree with you. I think we would get very bored of seeing the same characters over and over and over. The only way they’d be able to tell a story that way would be to really drag it out, otherwise it would seem like a compilation of short stories that would never have any depth to them.
I love the variety of characters and, if they are any good at all, welcome the new hires they bring on. And I think that’s exactly what they are trying to do…please everyone. We can see by the comments here that many people dislike different characters and love the others. So what would happen if you cut the cast, say in half? I think you’d lose a ton of viewers. JMO, of course. YMMV

Participantwith those two blondes ganging up on him with that frosting. It almost looked like he’s kind of shy. But then, they say a lot of really good actors are shy and being someone else is a way for them to come out of their shell.
Johnny sometimes comes across as kind of bratty but I didn’t see that in the twins. There were cute as a button.
Thanks for posting that.

Participantmy TV is mounted about 6 feet up on the wall so I can’t get my foot that high! But I’m often tempted!

Participantwhen Peter came on the show. In fact, IRL, they were having an affair which is why Missy left the show (at the demand of her husband…go figure!). That’s why the new Jen came on.

Participantthat I’m always ready to jump on the bandwagon and complain about storylines, dialog, mistakes they make, etc…but…let’s give these guys (the writers) a break. They are obviously doing the best job they can. Sure, TPTB could fire these writers and hire some new ones, but how does anybody know they can do any better?
As for going back to when Days was better, heck, we complained about stuff way back then also. As soon as I got into a Days newsgroup on the internet (way back in 1995) there were complaints on there about the same things we are complaining about now. Heck, let’s go further back than that. When I started watching with my mom in 1979 we used to gripe and laugh at some of the goings-on.
So, I, for one, will have to say that I resign myself to enjoy the good stuff, i.e. Johnny’s cancer storyline, and accept the bad, i.e. a Rafe clone or whatever they’re going to do.

ParticipantRemember Chelsea (Georgia) was raised by another family until she was a teenager so she didn’t know Max at all. I know there was a lot of griping about that relationship but I didn’t find anything wrong with it at all. As long as there is no blood ties, what’s the problem? I mean, even if they had been raised as brother and sister, I’d be okay with it.
The only reason familial relationships are frown upon is because of the possibility of retardation of the kids…IF there are any. And even that can work both ways, a child of an incestuous relationship can also end up a genius. It just depends which dominant genes they inherit, good ones or bad ones.

Participantyou’re not being fair to Chloe. She has only had four men in her life. First Philip in high school, then Brady, then Philip again briefly, then Lucas, and finally Daniel. For a girl her age, I don’t think that’s that many.

ParticipantThat was the biggest problem I had when Susan had taken the place of Kristen and was sleeping with John. Come one, you’ve got to suspect SOMETHING when you’re in bed with someone completely different. I’m looking forward to seeing how they are going to handle this and not be ala JER.

Participantof a breakdown for Chloe. God only knows, that poor girl has been living in enough stress and turmoil for long enough to make something snap.
I thought Nadia did a great job with the intense anger she had, even though I could see little traces of her having a hard time with it. It’s difficult to maintain that kind of rage and make it look real.

Participantwith Chad and Abby, it’ll be just as boring as it is now with Will and Gabby. There’s nothing there at all. I like Will and Gabby together but they need to stir something exciting into the pot to make we want to watch their relationship grow. Getting caught smooching on the couch (and I don’t know why that is forbidden at their age) isn’t exactly good soap opera material.

Participanthad passed away.
No way can I accept this either.
