While I think that could be interesting, he certainly hasn’t shown any proclivity to "gayness."  Heck, I’ve never even seen him in a  pink shirt.

I think that other guy (Can’t remember his name now but appeared to be pretty old.  He came from some other soap.) whas playing Mickey at that time.

Same here.  No matter when I sign on, there are new messages, even on weekends.  This helps to satisfy my addiction.  And the new people (well, new to us Annex members) are absolutely great.  Always lots of opinions and comments.  AND NO ADDS!  Yippee-skippy (credit to WatcherMom.)

A question though.  The main menu always shows there are new messages, even when there aren’t.  Anybody else notice this?  It’s not a big deal but just kind of strange.

That’s kind of scary.  Whenever another soap hits the dirt, it make me concerned for Days.  I don’t know what I’d evere do if it were cancelled.  This addiction for me is stronger than any drug known to mankind.  Someone please hold my hand.

Same here, IzzyB.  He has always been too wooden and emotionless.  They did the same thing with Sean D until he finally grew up.  I know there are good kid actors out there because we see them on primetime all the time.  Heck, they did well with Ciera,  let’s hope this new guy fits the bill.

I couldn’t figure out why she was staggering so.  I guess it was because she was just given a sedative.  Duh!  And I want to know where that other door led.  I’ve never seen a hospital room with two doors.  But I guess if you have to make an escape and there’s a cop outside your door, you’d need another one.  Funny the police didn’t think of the posibility of her using the other door.

BTW, I was in the ER once and there was a police guard posted outside one of the doors.  I was talking to him and he told me that they never use a uniformed cop for that duty…it causes too much attention.  Should someone tell Days this?  Also, he had a chair to sit in.  That poor guy by Nicole’s room will need the stamina of a Buckingham Palace guard.

Remember that Lawrence was holding the picture but ripped it up before Carley could see it.  And there isn’t that much age difference between Mia, who is 17, and Mel, who is 18.

I can just imagine 10 – 15 years from now where everybody who believes in Christmas has to do their worshiping and celebrating inside locked homes with blankets covering the wondows.  Does this remind you of anything?

IIRC, in the past couple of years, the reading of the Christmas Story int the hospital pediatrics ward, they have spent less and less time on it.  I don’t know if it’s because NBC is putting the pressure on them not to "offend" anyone or what.  I don’t believe it could be costs because what extra costs are there…scenery?  And they’d probably do that anyway.  -sigh-

Her supposedly being a successful call girl, I’m sure her tally beats Dan’s hands down!

The way it came across at the site I was posting in at the time, the underlying reason he left was because of the way all the veteran characters were getting the axe and he wanted to get out while the getting was good.  Now if there were a different reason, it could be perfectly plausible.

BUT…if they would take Vivian back after her childish behavior, I’m sure they’d take anyone back.  They also rehired Jennifer after she had walked off the set with no warning.  I think, all-in-all, TPTB on Days are pretty forgiving.

We know that that most of the characters on Days are Catholic and the rest of them are Christian so I see no reason why they wouldn’t celebrate Christmas without the other holidays.  If there were Jewish or Muslim characters, it would be perfectly natural to do so, but, to my knowledge, there are none so there would be no reason to include them.

Besides, I’m so sick and tired of this Christmas "equality" crap I could just scream.  The kids are no longer able to sing Christmas carols in school, they can’t have Christmas trees, they can’t mention Santa Clause.  It’s criminal IMO.  TV commercials are scared to death to mention "Merry Christmas."  When will this country adopt the "Live and Let Live" attitude and stop being so petty.

Sorry about my rant but that subject really peeves me…enormously!

I don’t know why they even bothered bringing him back.  He has no storyline and I don’t see any potential for him.  It doesn’t look like a relationship with Sami is in the future and there’s really nobody else around for him to be involved with.  The only reason I can see for keeping him is he’s a Horton (albiet as an afterthought and I have a hard time thinking of him as one), and there’ just ain’t many of them left!

To be a half sibling, don’t you have to have one parent in common.  Brady’s parents are John and Isabella and Sami’s are Roman and Marlena.  There is actually no relation there whatsoever.  Or am I missing something?

Did I miss something?  Did we see Nicole getting "knocked out"?  I was wondering what happened to her when they showed her on the floor.  Certainly there were enough people around her to make a big fuss if someone attacked her.

Now Stefano taking Sydney would be perfect.  And I disagree that he doesn’t like Nicole.  I think he has a lot of respect for her because of the way she acted toward him while living at the mansion and for what she pulled off for EJ, stealing Sydney like she did.  I wouldn’t be at all surprised that he’d stash the both of them away somewhere until things get straightened out…read: Ari comes back from maternity leave.  I’d love it if that happens.  But, if that were the case, why would he have taken Sydney and left Nicole there?

Patti, I was going to start my post with an apology to you but then read yours and see you agree with me about Lucas’ hair.  I don’t like it that short either.  It gives him a kind of punk-like appearance.

I sure wanted to kick him in the pants though the way he talked to Chloe.  And she just stood there and took it.  She should have told him to shut his stupid mouth and walked away from him.  So many people on this show do that when someone is putting them down.  I don’t think it’s natural to just stand there and take it without throwing some kind of an insult back at them.
