ParticipantThat’s when I was in the hospital so my mind was a little befogged with all the drugs.
Thanks for setting me straight. I’m glad he hasn’t left because I like his character.

Participantor at least thought he was. As far as the show was being written, he was Roman until the real Roman returned. I think that’s when they decided John was actually The Pawn instead.

Participantthe next time I move it will be to the mortuary. But then, I said that while in my last house too. But this time I REALLY mean it!
Everybody please take a suggestion from me. Since I’m pushing 72 years old, I have a list of people I want my kids to notify when I make that final move. People on the internet (of which this group is included) whom I never see but keep in touch with through email/blogs/chats/newsgroups/etc., and out-of-town friends.
So, if you don’t hear from me, know that I’m still kickin’ but just can’t get to the computer for whatever reason.
And Pammy, we’re soooo happy to finally hear from you and that everything is okay. Take your time with the boxes, they won’t go anywhere…I promise.

ParticipantYou are automatically a member of any class action suite UNLESS you opt out of it, which entails signing lots of forms. Probably the only reason you would want to opt out would be if you wanted to pursue legal action on your own, maybe thinking you will make out better than being a party to the class action. Or, probably less likely, if you did not agree with the suit.
But, like Patti said, it would still be widely published, not to include people but to give them the option of opting out. They must be informed that they can do that. Companies are required by law to provide the attorney names and addresses of everybody who could possibly be included in a class action.

ParticipantJohn didn’t personally lose all that money, it was the corporation he is the head of. Since you can’t sue a corporation, you have to sue the individual who is responsible for it.
I think it would be very unusual for a CEO’s personal attorney to represent him in a corporate case. S/he could be working in the background but I don’t think an individual would want to pay for a legal defense out of his own pocket when the company should be handling it.
Now that I read the team DID petition the court to withdraw, I can better buy them quitting. But it certainly would throw a tremendous amount of suspicion on them. And I hope they are somehow involved instead of the Dimeras. Geeze, the Dimeras can’t be responsible for every single evil that happens, can they?

ParticipantBut his "discussion" scene with Carrie yesterday convinced me he’s still our sweet little ol’ Austin and I’m so glad to have him back. I’ll try to look past his eyes. Maybe he’ll do what Gene Simmons did and go have a little nip/tuck. He’s way too young to start looking old.
And, like I mentioned before, I think John and Jack are both in the same boat. It just looks to me like they have lost too much weight. Maybe they’ve been around Hope too long.
The one (and probably only thing) that bothers me about John is how white his lips are. I wish they’d put just a tiny bit of color on them. He reminds me of my youngest who, as a kid, would get horribly car sick and the first indication was always that his lips would get white, then, UUURRRRPPPP. (His brother would tell us, "Mom, Jeff’s wips are white!") Sorry, not a particularly pleasant image.

ParticipantIf they absolutely HAVE to put Quinn with anybody, put him with Sonny. I guess I just don’t like him and haven’t found any particular leaning toward any female on the show for him. In fact, I’m wondering why they are bringing him back.
Speaking of Sonny, he wasn’t at the celebration. Is he still on the show?

ParticipantI liked when EJ leaned over Nicole’s shoulder to pick up something behind her the other day much better. Now THAT was the way to do it.
I think the best portrayed sexual tension on the show ever was when Patch and Kayla were on the roof and they were all hot and sweaty and he slowly pulled her shoulder strap down. I could hardly breathe during that one.
But then, too, that was probably pulled off by the actors, not the writers. It DOES go to show it can be done though without stupid stuff like that. How many professional women would that happen to? None!

ParticipantIt’s not on now but a really good different adaptation (IMO) of the Camelot story. Not typical at all. Merlin is still a very young man, acting as not-yet-king Arthur’s valet and assistant to Gaius, the court’s medicine man, hiding his magical powers because Arthur’s father, Uther Pendragon, forbids magic in the kingdom.
And Gwen is just a black girl who is not quite a slave but a lowly worker who secretly loves Arthur. Morgana is a ward of Uther and lives with them in the castle and is always plotting evil. Very different yet very good stories.

Participantbecause I’m totally in the dark also. IIRC, John and Brady had a perfectly good relationship the last we saw them together. I can’t think of a thing that would cause Brady to do this to John.

Participanttaking several weeks and have the storyline resolved through it. In other words, we don’t know anything until it unfolds through the evidence and testimony revealed in court. Kind of like a good ol’ Perry Mason case. Wouldn’t that be fun?

Participantmarried to Vivian twice. Before she left last time and again after her return.

Participantone minute Kate and EJ are at each other’s throats and the next they are all buddy-buddy, laughing and plotting together. Too much flip-flopping IMO.

ParticipantI have always hated spoilers but never had the will power to not look at them. I hope we don’t see any either. I don’t mind little things but hate when they give away a storyline.
It would be a shame if they start showing how the Dimeras (if that’s they way they’re going) are plotting against Basic Black and John. Keep us in suspense until things are actually solved on the show so we can see it in real time. Well, Salem real time, that is.

ParticipantThat’s the one. Thanks.
