am i the only one who thinks that it’s BRADY that is doing this to him? the obvious person(s) would be Stefano –or anyone with that last name– but that would be too easy, you know what i’m saying? think about it: brady has yet to visit his father since his return to salem; that’s fairly odd. where’s the love, eh? plus, john believes that the abrupt exit of his long time lawyers, has to be a result of someone with a lot of power, pulling the "strings." other than the dimeras and victor, who else in salem has that type of power? something tells me that ol’ daddy’s boy doesn’t want dad in the picture anymore (i.e., wants to remove him from any successful "activity" in salem).
…just a thought.
I just can’t imagine Brady turning that evil. Plus they are havign a whole SL built for Brady around Madison and I would think that if he was guilty then it would mess up the long run of that SL. I don’t think it will be the Dimeras either. I am not sure where it is headed to though. I think the SLs that are out there are very good because you can’t predict the ending.
Although I was really disappointed to see John voice his suspicions of the Dimeras. I was hoping for someone else for a change. It wouldn’t even have to be anybody portrayed but at least make up a different corporation/character/group who is responsible.
And I don’t know what motive Brady could possible have. He is successful in his own right now at Titan and they are in no way in direct competition with each other. As much as I hate the "dark side" Brady has dabbled in, I don’t know how he could possible fall off into the deep so much as to go against his own father.
being put in jail. Kate has motive and so does EJ and both are Dimeras even though I think John was going towards it being Stefano.
I think EJ’s happy because he can use this to his advantage by making Abe defend his friend in public and getting the citizens of Salem against him. Kate, since she was one of the higher up’s at Basic Black when John first started the company, I wouldn’t put it past her to have somehow gotten her hands on some money. She was looking for investors or someone to back up her revival of CW and who knows what she did before EJ and Stefano finally said yes.
one minute Kate and EJ are at each other’s throats and the next they are all buddy-buddy, laughing and plotting together. Too much flip-flopping IMO.
…but you have to admit it would be an awesome storyline IF it turns out that it’s his (John) own son (Brady)! After all – just like you said – Brady has no MOTIVE, as far as we know, to even want to do-in his father like this, but you just never know!
p.s. is it just me, or is EJ looking even more stunning with his sparks of grey hair?! Woohoo!
Truthfully, I think the whole thing with Brady ignoring John is personal. Did it have something to do with when Sami (as Stan) got John hooked on drugs again; was it because Brady was addicted to drugs and John wasn’t there to help; was it a grudge Brady is holding because of Brady’s mother — does he blame John for Isabella’s death? Just some things I’m having trouble linking to this complete ignorance and seemingly contempt Brady has for John right now. Or, was it something more recent, closer to what happened right before John and Marlena left, that I’m not recalling? In any event, why is Brady not coming to John’s aid now, and why is he being so completely uncaring about John’s legal problems? I’m just not recalling their prior father/son relationship.
I thought it had to do with the way Brady is now. Marlena and John have been out of the country but not out of touch with their friends and families so Brady and his taking over of Titan and how he handled that added to his attack on EJ and his drinking and I’m sure John has let him know he’s not happy with him. I can see Brady pulling back and being on the defensive or maybe offensive with his father.
I’m trying to remember….is Brady still holding on to the fact that John pretty much ignored him when John was brainwashed into Robo John? He did manage to push away alot of people….
