and although she complained about her ‘poor nails,’ they looked freshly manicured to me.  They should have thrown in a few broken ones at least.  As for Gus, he is, as you say, an extremely poor actor, no excitement, very boring monotone to his voice, and yes, completely "wooden" describes him perfectly.  Too bad, cause he’s not a bad looking guy.

it just seems that they are so needed now.  What a wonderful Christmas miracle that would make.  Anyway, I’ll be looking for the book.  My sister and I have been watching DOOL for many many years together.  We used to come home for lunch when we worked together just to watch DOOL.  Luckily I lived about 10 minutes away from my office then.  The book will make a great Christmas gift for her.

Also, I think someone here has a cat whose name is the same ours … "Tux."

he should be between Roman and Gabbi, or next to Sami.  Looks like he got a short haircut, too.

I was really beginning to worry about daytime soaps.  Now, thank you Comcast, you’ve made my life much easier to bear in my golden years.  Just that one hour a day makes all the difference to me, and though I do miss a day here and there, I know I can catch it at night or the next day.  Any chance you could buy SoapNet, too?  Disney has enough children’s shows on the air.

I think I recently read somewhere that she is contemplating reduction surgery on her lips.  They are quite huge for her small face and frame.  I can see a little collagen here and there, but Lisa’s lips are definitely too large for face.  Reminds me of Goldie Hawn in First Wives Club.

Kinsey threw Nicole under the bus as soon as Sami arrived on the scene.  Otherwise, she’s definitely a Nicole Walker in the making.

I know this because I read somewhere that Victor tells Brady that "he (Gus) escaped," and Victor realizes that he must have freed Vivian, and that’s when he discovers Maggie is in the sarcophagus and frees her.  Boy, can’t wait to see what Victor will do to both of them when he discovers Maggie is the one entombed and realizes who did it.

I’m getting a couple of very good vibes here, i.e., Church scenes more than likely are Baby Parker’s christening; then we get to 2C and I see "stunt coordinator for Philip/Daniel fight," so hooray and hallelujah, does this mean the jig is up for Chloe?  Looks that way to me.  So glad they’re not dragging this secret out until February.  It’s time we moved on from it and what a perfect way to end the year.  Then we come down to 6-B and I see "Nurse’s Station/Caroline’s ICU Room – and I have to ask, what’s that all about.  She goes from Church to ICU …. does she possibly have a heart attack or something like that when the truth comes out and all parties find out that Caroline switched the paternity?  All in all, this looks great, whether my assumptions are correct or not.  This whole who’s the daddy, who’s the paternity switcher has dragged on long enough.  Looks like better DAYS ahead to me.  Thank you for the preview.

right up until the realize "hey, this didn’t work", and that they are trapped like rats on a sinking ship, with nowhere to run, nowhere to hide, so they come up with an on-the-spot lame excuse as to the who, how, where, when and why it was made in the first place.  Got it …. somebody go find me a bush!

Kate and Nicole was a riot to watch.  Some of the things they said had me ROTFLMAO:

Vic to Nicole:  "You want a drink?  What am I saying — does Nicole Walker want a drink — does dracula want blood?"

Nicole to Kate:  "Shut up you old harpie or I’ll throw you in that sarcophagus."

Kate to Vic and Nicole:  "That’s why Victor is my bitch!"

They were all hysterically funny yesterday.

so some sort of private service was held, and what was done at the pub was a wake.  I don’t think Sami was being hypocritical at all.  She asked Rafe if she could help and she went about arranging the memorial at the Pub because Arianna did work there and she invited the people who best knew Arianna to share their fondest memories of her.  I thought she was being very supportive of Rafe and Gabi and the Pub was the perfect place to hold this very traditional memorial, especially since Arianna worked there.  I don’t think she had the tape or anything else on her mind when she planned it other than to show Rafe and Gabi that there were many Salemites who thought very highly of Arianna.

I don’t know how much more of this insanity  I can stand from your mother, your daughter, your intended son-in-law (which will never be Nathan Horton), and most of all the pathetic puppy-dog looks Nathan and Melanie give each other every time they enter the same room.  Why didn’t you just speak up and straighten this whole mess out once and for all.  Now we have to wait until, what, December, and even then it could possible drag on until February.  I thought these storylines were supposed to move faster, Corday?  I’m sure your parents are looking down saying and praying:  NBC, save our show….fire our son and these writers.  Ugghh!

were nice to look at, but made absolutely no sense.  E.J., first of all, trying to convince Brady to turn on his step-sister, all the while claiming how much he (Brady) should honor Arianna’s final wishes by giving E.J. any information he might know about Arianna’s proof as to who shot him was THE most ludicrous and unreasonable, not to mention unbelievable, scenes this show has tried to convince me that these writers have not lost their freakin’ minds.  What do you expect Brady to do, you nimrod.  And then, to tell Brady, or I should say scream at Brady, "I want justice," —- YOU, E.J. DiMera, want justice —- literally made me walk out of the room.  Then, you’re still trying to justify, again to his uncle, that Will was the reason Arianna ran into the street, to get away from Will.  Never mind the fact that she looked straight at you and then took off, you lunatic.  But, you want justice.  Too bad justice can’t be served by you being dead.  By the end of their scenes yesterday, E.J. sounded like a pathetic comparison to a broken record falling on deaf ears.  Conclusions to yesterdays scenes between these two:  Brady = HOT;  E.J. = NOT!
