ParticipantA while back we were discussing the possibility of Caroline having some sort of medical problem that may or may not be contributing to her sudden change in personality and mannerisms. A spoiler was even posted a while back indicating that she would wind up in the ICU around the same time that Parker’s christening takes place (by the way, they will be bringing back the Saint Luke’s set for that). Turns out Caroline will have a stroke, so perhaps her Dr. Jekyll persona will be attributed to that. I can’t help thinking It simply is too sudden of an about-face in her personality for it to be anything else. I don’t know when Peggy’s contract expires, but the actress just turned 80, so I’m wondering if they are considering writing her out in the near future. Just speculation there, which is not part of the spoiler.

Participantunder her long but low-cut top. More like leggings than pants.

ParticipantI think in Kayla’s case it’s a moral issue, because she thinks Stephanie is this decent, good little girl who deserves to be happy, but not at the expense of a lie (yeah, you know your baby girl well, don’t you, Kayla). Also, I think Kayla’s afraid of the fallout that would befall Steph if and when the secret is revealed. Stephanie’s part is purely personal, that being her fear of losing Nathan. If and when Mel finds out the truth, Nathan will be there for Melanie and Stephanie will be the worse for it by hiding the secret that she knew about all along; Caroline suddenly feels she needs to protect Parker from being raised a Kiriakis, (that’s the one that gets me the most), and protecting Stephanie from losing Nathan to Mel. (gag) Can we say hypocrites?

Participantever since she was married to Lucas and cheated on him with Daniel. Now she wants to hide behind some lame excuse of "I thought he was cheating with Carly." She’s weak, whiny, and I’m sick of the whole story line and hope it’s over soon, but not before her AND Philip get caught. Regardless of who slept with who or why it happened, or all the promises in the world never to do it again doesn’t change the fact that Daniel will be the one losing the most …. he’ll be losing Parker ….. the hell with Chloe. She’ll find another bedwarmer soon enough.

Participantthat pig, E.J., deserved that slap from Sami, and much, much, much more.

ParticipantThanks for sharing that beautiful message.

Participantwouldn’t you say? I mean the guy just died to open the virus storyline, which lasted a couple of weeks, and they’re already bringing him back as Gabi and Rafe’s brother? (Shakes head in disbelief).

Participantyesterday Maggie said to Victor, "I’m so glad they’re (Mel and Phil) living with you now" to which Vic replied, "yes, it’s starting to feel like old times," yet we never see them there. Go figure.

Participantas the rest of them. But, this is a game and when it gets this close to the end, all fangs begin to show for those remaining. It’s who’s most favorable with the jury that determines who will win, and right now you may be right, Bonbon. If they knock out Fabio and take Dan to the final 4, I wouldn’t be the least surprised if he doesn’t win it, because he’s the least likely one to be judged as a back-stabbing, ruthless bad-guy compared to the others. If he doesn’t get it, then I think it will be Holly or maybe even Sash, but definitely not Chance.

ParticipantWhew! Yes, I am! Okay, they’re going to do a postpartum depression storyline for Chloe. Maybe that’s why they’re showing her being such an inconsiderate new mommy by going out and leaving a newborn, things like almost dropping the kid the other day, burning the lasagna, things like that. I would have thought it would be that she would have a mental breakdown once the truth comes out, but don’t be surprised if we won’t see a whole new set of acting chops when Nadia plays this story out. She said it’s really a challenge, but she’s loving it.

Participantis a brother of Rafe’s and Gabbi"s, and not another baby for Sami. When all of this is over, and E.J. is gone (wishful thinking on my part only), if Sami and Rafe are still together I might entertain the thought of her having a PLANNED child with Rafe, or Rafe can adopt Sami’s kids, but no way do I want to see Sami pregnant again, so I’m happy to learn that the new Hernandez will be another brother.

Participantbut Sami and Nicole getting into another fight, and at the hospital no less, is kinda’ disgusting. Remember where you are, ladies. (Take her outside, Sami, and beat the crap out of her)

Participantthey can’t be somewhat real in the hair, make-up, wardrobe departments. Yes, Nadia is gorgeous; yes, Nadia has a body that most women would pay to have; and yes, Nadia is probably one of the lucky ones when it comes to being well endowed in more than one area on her body. That doesn’t mean these truly blessed qualities should be exploited by those behind the scenes. I don’t watch a show to see who’s wearing what, where, when and/or why. I watch it for the fantasy, but with a realm of believability. Soaps tend to go overboard with the exploitation of the "beautiful" people, and DOOL is famous for it. I don’t know how many of the actors have a say about their wardrobe, hair and make-up, but some do. Whether Nadia is one of them can only say one of two things about her. Either her appearance is completely controlled by her employer; or this is the way she dresses IRL. I have seen many off-the-set photos of Nadia, and from what I can surmise, Chloe’s look is not too far off her individual style. Still, I’d rather see them at least attempt to make it ‘look’ real for the part being played.

ParticipantI think the best way to go with Sydney is that she is, in fact, E.J.’s and Sami’s, E.J. would become so severely damaged over Johnny being Lucas’ and not his that he would suffer some sort of complete breakdown and would knowingly have to do what is best for the one and only child he has remaining, thereby mending fences with Sami, perhaps even sharing custody, and moving on with Nicole. The main thing is I absolutely would abhor the idea of Nicole taking over the permanent mothering of Sydney. I would love to see Nicole reconnect with E.J., they remarry, and Nicole would automatically become Sydney’s stepmom. She does feel some pain for Sami in all of this, and it would be my wish that Nicole and E.J. revisit their once-upon-a-time happiness, but without the vendetta (oops, there’s that word again), and share their time with Sydney, allowing this little girl the benefit of two loving families, and then all would be right with my world. (Yeah, I know, WAKE UP, PATTI).
Patti
Participantthe best, and perhaps only, way to redeem E.J. is to make Lucas Johnny’s biological father. They should find out through an illness or a required blood transfusion or something along those lines that E.J. could not possibly be Johnny’s bio-dad, and that Stefano knew all along that this was true, but decided to hide it from everyone. E.J. would be crushed beyond words, and realizing that all E.J. cares about is the bloodline of the DiMeras, he would not hide it from Sami or Rafe or anyone else for that matter, but decide to let Johnny go. Then, and only then, could I begin to see a light at the end of the tunnel for Elvis.
