If you’ve noticed they have 1-2 tear jerker contestants a year. Danny Gokie who lost his wife, that guy who was blind. The kid living in his car. One woman had a child that was special needs.
I liked that first guy/kid last night that sang country. DH thinks he might win because they haven’t had a male country winner yet. I guess it will depend on who’s the most versatile when they get to Hollywood.
Even though I thought I’d miss Simon I feel the show has been refreshed with the new judges and that might be what they needed to get the ratings back up again.
I’d read this morning that Chloe uses Parker again with Daniel. She goes to the ER and says there’s something wrong with him and Daniel needs to see him. The nurse examines him first and says he’s fine but Chloe insists he’s sick and Daniel needs to see him. Daniel comes in and says there’s nothing wrong and tells Chloe to stop. After she leaves they notify DCFS about it.
Later Maggie finds Chloe in sitting, staring and rocking while holding Parker’s bunched up blanket.
Sounds like Chloe needs to be locked in a padded room for a while. I know Kate is trying to plant the seed in Melanie that her and Phillip need to get that baby away from Chloe.
If I remember when Abby was little she had dark hair, as a teen she was blond and now she’ll be dark again.
I’d said in another thread that Chloe is not comfortable with kids/babies and not the mothering type. Remember how she bumbled and complained about being alone with Aly when she was with Lucas? So, I don’t think it’s unreasonable for her not to think about an extra bottle for the baby. Heck, I’m wondering how she manages to remember to feed him when she’s alone with him.
I’d even like it if Nancy was back to see her grandson and stay off camera. Just have people mention seeing her and Chloe saying how nice it is to have her mother’s support.
Of course Nancy could be a Mama Bear where her family was concerned and I would love to see her and Kate go head to head over Parker.
I still remember how uncomfortable she was around Aly when she was with Lucas. At that time she didn’t want any kids and didn’t know how to act around them. Suddenly we’re suppose to believe she’s all maternal and now she’s proving that she’s still uncomfortable around babies and doesn’t have a clue.
She did seem more self assured and less needy back then though. Whatever happened to that girl, she had some spunk.
I don’t think he has any EJ in him. He was hurt and is afraid to love the little guy. You can tell when he sees him how much it hurts and I’m sure he’s thinking that Phillip needs to step up and know his son and he might be in the way preventing a relationship between them if he’s in his life.
I have a feeling he’s going to realize he can be there for Parker and be a "dad" without being with Chloe. But we all know if he shows any interest in Parker, Chloe’s going to run with it and keep pushing and pushing him to be a family again.
I don’t think he’s trying to take it away from Victor but it’s more that he doesn’t trust Victor right now or he feels Vivian can take advantage of Victor where he’s more in control of her. I think he’s protecting Titan at the moment.
I got the impression she’s for getting Chloe out of Salem but having it so she’ll not take Parker with her. Maybe drive her insane and have her committed. That would do it for me.
I do remember that Missy came back before that storyline ended because she was playing the part when Jennifer "died" and was a ghost.
Mark Valley who’s on Human Target played Jack at that time.
Peter tried to or actually succeded to gaslight Laura and make her think she was going insane again. He also tried to kill Jack. I’m not sure if he tried to kill Jennifer or not but I remember they faked Jannifer’s death and she came back as a ghost at her own funeral and that’s how they caught him.
I don’t think it’s the fact that she’s only had 4 or going from man to man it’s that she’s still in a relationship with 1 when she goes to the other man. Then she’s all upset when she’s found out. The thing is, most women on Days have had several relationships and have gone from man to man. Hope though she’s only had 3 and you can say she wasn’t in her right mind with John, look how fast she ran to Patrick at the first sign of trouble with Bo. Carly, was engaged to Lawrence (OK, it was pre-arranged) and hooked up with Bo, was still with Bo when she chose Lawrence then while married to Lawrence she had a one night stand with Daniel. Julie had her share of men before her and Doug hooked up. Maggie, years ago had an affair with someone while married to Mickey. Billie when she was on had Bo, and Bo, and Bo, (most while he was married to Hope) and Nick when she knew her daughter was interested in him. Kate’s had Bill, Victor, Roman, John, Stefano. Marlena slept with John while married to Roman and then with Roman while married to John (I understand they’d been held as Stefano’s prisoners but she was still married AND Roman was married to Kate at the time.), Stephanie had Jeremy, Max, Phillip, Nathan and now I’m wondering who’s next on her radar. It’s no wonder everyone in Salem is related with all the sleeping around everyone does.
I think the only one one in the history of the show that only had one man was Alice. Even Caroline had an affair or ONS with Victor while married to Shawn.
They just can’t let a male/female relationship be just friends, they always have to end up in bed together.
I think Kate’s got a lot of nerve calling her a whore though since she literally was one.
I agree there was nothing wrong with Chelsea and Max since they weren’t raised as Uncle and Niece but did get a bit disgusted with Stephanie and Max as they were raised that way. I’d have a problem with any of them if they were raised as brother and sister even if there were no blood ties. The law doesn’t look too kindly on those types of relationships either.
My SIL has to kids who were adopted. One when she was a few days old and the other when he was 2. They’re both in their 20’s and were found in bed together this past summer. I got sick to my stomach when I heard about it. Even worse when the daughter admitted that she’d molested him when they were teens.
