ParticipantWhat did the doc say yesterday? Don’t wanna pry but it’s Wednesday and I haven’t heard from ya…and worried. Hope and pray all is going to be OK. Take care.

Participantgo – I liked her. I think if the writers had just let her character go toe to toe with Nicole to fight for Brady, it would have been so much more interesting…the kind of senario of "you’re not woman enough to take my man" type thing. But the writer’s just kept having having Arianna back off and cry…

Participantwith that all day…it’s subliminal – the mind sees it and files it so the next time we see it in the store we could purchase it but we don’t key on it (unless we’re hungry
). The way the show is doing it, I will out and out not purchase the products.

Participantwith mandatory overtime, benefits, retirement at 50 years of age…oh yeah, that’s why we are having a tax revolt!

Participantthe chocolate scene in the kitchen today…crass commericalism. I think we all said that we don’t mind the product placement, even being prominently placed so what ever the item being touted is right there in front of us while we’re watching the show – but the "mini-commerical" like what happened again today with Mel and Phillip in the program is enough to make me boycott the products…first Midol, then Chex Mix, and now Bliss chocolate candy…off my grocery list.

Participantwith Maddies death with Chad at the hospital – was forced and unbelievable…just his mannerisms with the mouth movements and eye brows didn’t seem sincere…

Participantfor the rest of my life (i.e., Roman in the Pub), I’d still want to eat at BK or CJ’s once and a while…besides, the diner didn’t look like it was in a too appealing area, perhaps he was conducting cop shop business there (meeting with his snitches or other contacts). Wasn’t Kate working there the same time? Or was that later?

Participantif he came between Kate and himself. I think ol’ Kate and Stef work well together, I don’t want to see that "weird" relationship torn apart. Maggie needs a new love interest and she is available…that would work out well. Victor, as much as I love him, well, he made his bed, (in hell), with Vivian so live with it Victor.

ParticipantBo’s got to make at least $200K a year, (my small town the community college dean makes that), so since Salem isn’t that small of a town…and his hours of work are very, very good! Hope, being on the force as a dectective should make about $90k a year (and her hours are even better), even if Salem is small…since they’ve been married, lived in the same house for a number of years, they should have built up savings. Also, Hope, even not touching the trust fund, one can get a goodly amount of income from the interest yearly…

ParticipantI’ve lived in my area since 1965 off and on and I’m from small burg of 100,000. I don’t know one police officer, police commander, sheriff, or FBI, CIA, Border Patrol, private investigator, bounty hunter, the Mayor and his minions, the D.A., or my local librarian – (although, I do frequent the place)…so other than knowing what Nicole did with the Sydnapping unless Doc Baker has actively participated in the local polite society of our dear Salem, his being a doctor that participates in baby-selling/switching for money (and goodness knows what else in his practice at the medical clinic he ran to make a buck) and a gambling junkie not-with-standing, I would think that he would actively avoid the constable types like the plague! Hope seems to be his kind of lady because she is committing crimes like assault and battery and stealing and he’s profiting from it.

ParticipantI think that you may be onto something SW!!! Lawrence has the $$$’s to do some alterations and it would be just like him to snare Carly in with Bo’s (look-a-like)…Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm….verrrrrrrrrrrrry interrrrrrrrrrresting!

Participantdifficult to come by at Louise’s age (and I’m not saying anything derogatory about her age here) but she is 70 (and a terrific looking woman and good actress). However, in Hollyweird "you are past your prime at 25" (paraphrasing quotes by Meryl Streep and Diane Keaton) and if you want to act you have to take the work where you can get it.
If the rest of the USA is 12% to 14% unemployment – think about all those actors out of work from their craft…I guess they just have to swallow their pride and take it, otherwise, their part could be recast with another actor.
Look how many times in "Days" we’ve had actors recast – did the original actor have a slow story line and go look for other work, and then not be called back or did they leave because they thought they would be a "star" and they didn’t have to be a "soap opera" actor all their lives…I have often wondered why some go on to be famous and others are on for 30 years – they are equally good. ???

ParticipantPlease take Stephanie away – and while you are at it, Chloe can visit and cry with you as Daniel will probably leave her too…but they’ll most likely keep Chloe and hook her back up with Phillip…so if Stephanie goes at least we’ll get one wish…
