and a new face coming to town? Has anyone heard of someone being cast? Except for Stacy Haiduk, who’s just playing a prison warden, but I don’t think she’s going to shake things up.

it’s going to be Chloe and Phillips child – not Daniel’s. The baby is born with a rare disease that needs only a siblings DNA blood, kidney, bone marrow, (insert your favorite part here) that will cure it. That is why they are now mentioning Phillips bio kid now so they can bring him back. The adoptive parents will have died in a car crash or some such thing…but the kid, (Tyler) is still underage so Phillip will have to take him back to raise as a Keriakis (sp)… Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm, now where have I heard a simular story like that done several times before over the years????

You’re right in that they have mentioned Pocket a little too much for him not to appear! I forgot who his mother was though, anyone remember?
Pocket’s mother was the surrogate that Shawn and Mimi hired to carry their baby. There was a mix-up (the gloved hand at work) and Shawn & Mimi’s embryo was implanted in Belle and Phillip & Belle’s embryo was implanted in the surrogate Mimi & Shawn hired. Belle miscarried, Shawn & Mimi split up then Phillip and Belle split. Phillip & Mimi decided they didn’t want the baby and told the surrogate to end the pregnancy but Bonnie (Mimi’s mother) had other plans and paid her to carry the baby to term. She planned to somehow use the baby to get money out of the Kiriakas’s.
I hope the baby belongs to Daniel. I would love to see Daniel and Chloe as parents, without the constant meddling from Carly and Stephanie.
I don’t know if Tyler will be brought back or not, but if he is, I hope he can be in a stable, constant loving family and home. That would be a wonderful surprising event for a change.

I think I read some where that the lady from ‘Young and the Restless’ was coming to Salam?? She played a dule role , some one called Patty/ Emily.. one is crazy and the other is sane I will see if I can find the artical and Paste the information here,,.
characters like that on the show already? Talk about rehash of stories…Tony/Andre, Marlena and her sister, Day Hope/Night Hope, etc., etc. etc.
be on to something by suggesting that Kate and Maddie are sisters. Their conversation today seemed to imply there was a much deeper conection than just ‘working’ together. Whatever their connection, it is hard to believe they have lived in the same town for years without coming into contact with each other.

So I don’t think a story line like this is going to hold my interest very long ~ but then there’s not too much with Day’s that is making me want to watch now days…the Victor/Maggie/(and from what I read Caroline also) story is about the only thing I want to watch right now – and that is far and few between those scenes.
I’m bored with Sami/EJ (even though I like them), bored with Rafe and the Sydnapping, bored with Nicole/Ari/Brady triangle thingy (whatever that is or isn’t), bored with Hope/Carly/Bo will they-won’t they…and I know I’m going to be bored to tears with the teen summer stories…
I’m almost thinking I’m going to do what some of you have been saying that you all are doing for quiet awhile – just keep up with the stories here on Salem Place. Maybe after 19+ years I have Day’s day after day burnout…
