it was good acting all around with everyone – I’m still not certain that Hope will be off to jail, although, Nicole should go directly to jail and meet the warden – was Nicki just on probation or totally exonerated by the courts the last time? Some one will be going to jail, but in the real world, (where folks should go to jail too).
With Hope’s situation, it would be a mental hospital. In my town two days ago there was a guy try jump off a highway bridge into the river – all he got was a 72 hour mental health hold, after he had tied up traffic and police for hours. Hope may have to stay a bit longer because of the story line.
What a comedy. I was laughing my keister off on todays show. Daniel, standing there at the curtain talking to Chloe. That was just about the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever seen, (and I’ve sat through a lot in this show).
The little nurse telling the other little nurse (Mel), who didn’t work at the hospital, about a reason for a patients being at the hospital. Carly and her lies to Mel and Dan piling up – they are going to bury her more than Vivian ever did.
The one not funny thing they had in the show, the scene, where that Dr. Dan was saying was as a doctor, knowing that he was speaking to a burn patient, started gushing (babbling more like it), about his "beautiful" fiancee…Uncool Dr. Dan, very uncool.
Then the very end scene at the SPD with Dr. Baker, Brady, Roman, Nicole, Hope and Brady…priceless…Nicole is spinning. I hope they don’t hang Dr. Baker with it all, I want Nicole to get her "Do not collect the five million dollars and go directly to jail card"…I’m going to love being the fly on the wall watching the explanations.

Maybe I’m out of the loop. I only catch highlights of the show on the web if there is a cliffhanger and for some stupid reason the news has once again preempted the show at 1:00 p.m. PST to give me some politician’s whiney take on matters of the state or some sports show that should be shown on ESPN instead. And most of the folks/friends that I know that watch Days do the same.
I know he is an expert on the show being the creator and all, however, I do wonder how long Ken has been studying the statistics of his findings. What other outside factors gave the NBC web site a boost and how many times have those ratings peaked due to the outside factors?
I can see where the ratings have tanked big time based on the factors you mentiond SW, we all have been bored out of our minds with the repetivness of dialog and story lines. If, they would archive the show on the web site that Mr. Corday was speaking of, then new people watching the show could get a handle on it, the plot, the characters, the age old question of Sami and all her men (
). This way without having to repeat the show for all of us die-hard fans without making us rant and rave how we’ve seen this scene played out and heard this dialog all a zillion and a half times.Marlena "went bad" when she was possessed and the slasher. Hope, now (and maybe in her Princess Gina days). Stephanie was a bit devious there for awhile. Sami…(how long of a message can I type?) Several other ladies from the past too "went bad" – seems like the writers at times expect women not to be able to handle, trauma and trouble, not stay strong and face their issues and have the women turn to "the dark side".
I think on your first point, Brady knew Nicole was broke (he mentioned and she did too about the place she was living in several times). Brady knows Nicole’s "taste" for the good life and that she would never live there in a place like that willingly. So he knows the only reason she has any money (enough to be stashed in an off-shore account) is she got it nefiriously, like blackmail, etc. It may be none of his business to know about her business, but he just told the woman he thought he knew (yeah right), he loved her. Given Nicoles history, (and Brady knowing full well that history) – I can see him reacting in a not so nice way, (sans the bed scene).
We are not prudes, however, we choose not to have this kind of display on "our" show – and I think it is our show as we tune in to it for years, if not decades, so the PTB ought to listen to what the viewers want to watch. Stop this Mr. Corday, you are not being cool and edgy with this type of scene, you are being disparaging to your audience.
PS – Did it occur to anyone else that the reason they had Brady act "weirdly" with Nicole – that perhaps she will get pregnant with Brady’s kid? I know. I know. She already had her miracle baby but I’m trying to see the deviousness in the writer’s for portraying Brady’s actions in the scene…goes way against his grain – Plus he said that "hope she enjoyed it (or something like that) because they would never be together again". What else would tie them together other than Brady’s normal actions of being a whimp for Nicole or a baby?
some one will mess with the test results (when has that ever happened in Salem) and we may not know for months yet. You know how they like to drrrrrrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaag a SL out…we’ll all be chomping at the bit by the time we know.

we’ve mentioned Phillips hair, (and we’ve probably done this subject to death), but did anyone else notice on today’s show that it is twice as greasy looking and much longer? I was thinking perhaps "the reason" his hair is so long is to hide his face transplant?
I don’t mind long hair on guys – if it’s clean looking. His doesn’t look that way, or else he needs a new product. with "While I am a BIG EJ fan"…I still like seeing EJ in a pickle and wiggle his way out…he’s like Stefano (big fan of his too), always comes out on top…I just think Tony coming back would broaden the story lines and if he got into a conflict with EJ – who’s been sitting on top of the DeMira heap for so long now…well, so much the more interesting for me anyway.
of the characters profile of what they’ve done in the past? That would be perfect for them to tie this with Princess Gina and Hope’s current mental state as she has had her mind "altered" before! Great catch Casey!!!
Wouldn’t it be funny if Anna "found" him wherever she is stashed these days and they came back to Salem and they were the ones that took down EJ??? Maybe Rafe with the papers that Fay burned had some info on where Anna was….I don’t know, I’m grasping…I just wish they’d move the story along…
The idea that skirt lengths are a predictor of the market direction. According to the theory, if skirts are short, it means the markets are going up. And if skirt are long, it means the markets are heading down. Maybe just maybe Days may be an indicator of the economy getting better….Naaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh…
how much morning sickness did Chloe have? Did she ever have any (???) from what Daniel said she is over it now. 2nd trimester? I know a lot of women never had morning sickness in their pregnancy, but their makeup, hair, and dress didn’t look like they stepped out of a fashion magazine 24/7 either…When she was in bed the other day with Daniel…she looked like a photo Vogue mag picture… I don’t expect them to show her heaving her guts out over the toilet after breakfast pancakes but come on writer’s – I’m begging you for just a little reality here! Muss up her hair and make up once and a while for goodness sake. Even Kristian, one time when she was portraying Hope being sick went sans makeup – of which I give her mega props for.
