I have to say that I like his character less and less every day. What a smug, smarmy little twit running over to ask Chloe when she was going to tell him he was gomg to be a dad! She has a live-in boyfriend, and even though I am sure that the writers will make this baby Philip’s, why would he immediately assume that their one and only time means he is the daddy? Does he think she and Daniel hadn’t been together at all around the same time? I don’t know, maybe it’s just me, but I think he is way out of line and especially his phraseology. He just seemed very threatening and slightly off kilter. Maybe he can have a nervous breakdown and be shipped off for a while? Puhleeeeeze.
He’s always been one to act before thinking and has none of his father’s cool head. His impulsive, explosive behavior is going to blow this for everyone involved.
"on his ‘new’ face…" has always had a flash point reaction instead of thinking things through…I think it’s great that he’s the one (I think) that is going to blow Chloe’s so-called secret out of the water, it’s just desserts for him…and her! I don’t think it will be Carly who spills the beans even though she’s been caterwauling for weeks now! I feel sorry for Mel and for Daniel.
for a long while now. The writers have ruined Phillip Kiriakis, maybe to a point of no return. I can’t remember the last time I thought he looked good; oh yeah, that would have been when he was with Stephanie. So hurry up with this story line already, so that all of these couples implode and wind up where they should be, i.e., Daniel with Carly (which I’m positive will happen); Bo and Hope reunited; Melanie back with Nathan; Philip back with Stephanie, who can’t seem to keep her nose out of his business anyway; and Chloe can return to Brady, where she belongs if you can think of EM as Brady and not KL. But, regardless, whatever these writers are going for, please, if any of you people who pen this show care about your fans, do not dare repeat another paternity switch story line, or I swear that might just be it for this fan.
if Chloe returned to Brady (and got him)…that would be fun to watch – I don’t think Chloe could take Nicole, and Nicole would distroy Chloe.
I’m all for Hope and Bo getting back together, however, as for the rest of those couples, don’t care who ends up with whom – you know in two years or two months they are going to switch partners anyway.
As many people who have overheard Chloe talking about the one night stand and the number of times Daniel’s walked in while she was having a conversation about it my money’s on Chloe to spill the beans. Unintentionally of course.
actor,Jay Kenneth Johnson, but I am really disliking the way the Philip character is being written right now. I kinda like Philip and Melanie as a couple and wish they could have had a chance together before a quick romp between Chloe and Philip destroyed any chance of that. I am sick to death of Carly threatening Chloe all the time. Please let this come to a speedy end!!

Jay/Phil needs a haircut in the worst way. Maybe I’m in the minority but when his overgrown hair falls into his face, it spoils his appearance. It looks greasy, and like he’s past due to make a trip to the barber.
I still have money on Nathan being the one to spill the beans, mainly because he’s been so quiet about it while everybody else talks about it.
I guess Phil forgot that he and Belle had to use invitro to conceive a child? Since Claire was Shawn’s, it appears not to have been a problem with Belle’s plumbing…
Considering both Phil and Chloe have fertility issues, this whole storyline seems rather far-fetched, even if it turns out that Daniel is the father.
It’s actually pretty gross, how many, "who’s the daddy" stories this show has had. I guess the women in Salem can’t say, "NO". (Never mind the women OR men using contraception!)
I’m surprised that half the down doesn’t have some nasty STD.

Phils hair–YUCK! One of the most gorgeous men on Days and they can’t seem to wash and style his hair. It is so distracting from his good looks!
Phillip has fertility issues, Chloe has fertility issues, Daniel does not have fertility issues, isn’t it more likely that it’s Daniel’s baby than Phil’s. Not only that, Phil and Chloe did it once. Looks to me like Chloe and Daniel are at it all the time. NUMBERS!
I am sick of the who’s the daddy storylines. Days is becoming so unoriginal! We have these stories every year! Personally, I’ve never known anyone in my 47 yrs. that didn’t know who the father of their baby was. It’s driving me insane!
I think it might be Stephanie. She’s all up in Phillip’s face every time she runs into him, and she definitely suspects something is really bothering him. She works at the hospital, and since she has access to hospital records, she might somehow see the paternity test. Even though she realizes that she stands to lose Nathan if the baby is Phillips, I think somewhere deep down she still cares for Phillip, so it would not surprise me if Ms. Johnson might be the one to blow this story sky high.
dislike Stephanie – she’s more of a busy-body than anyone else in Salem (and that is saying a lot). She is so insecure and needy – besides like you said this finding out through the hospital records has been done to death – it’s rediculous that the writer’s would take us down this path again. More FF’ing I see for me in the future.

Chloe has a paternity test… Now, unless "Salem paternity tests" are different, all Carly can do is compare Dan’s DNA to the baby’s and rule him in or out as the father – UNLESS they get a sample of Phil’s DNA and compare the baby to both…
Let us suppose that Steph catches wind of that – maybe she figures out it’s Phil… and being so insecure and all that, she doctors (snicker) the results to make sure Dan is the father (whether he is or not…).
There’s plenty of room to throw in a switcheroo back and forth, so we really don’t know who the real daddy is for a while, there’s time for one to think the kid is his for a while until the real truth comes out…
It’s déjà-vu all over again…

Chloe did the horizontal mambo with 2 different men, dating back to when she got pregnant.
These things *never* happen like, "Well I had a period after my little tryst, so it can’t be Phil’s baby…" (Well even that isn’t a 100% indicator… but that’s what most real women would be thinking)…then they could place a Midol commercial in there…
We’ve already got Phil starting symptoms of testosterone poisoning. If it turns out to be his kid, he’s just going to have to claim it instead of leaving well enough alone… the way he’s already acting he’s worse than a bantam rooster strutting around the chicken coop.
I’m still mad that they’ve filed his infertility with his lost leg in the "forgotten" files.
I wouldn’t be surprised if at some point he turns up in a full-body shot wearing SHORTS, revealing 2 legs.
It’s bad enough that the show doesn’t incorporate his disability into the story – but it’s worse that the actor appears to have forgotten too.
