For once DOOL got it right – Deimos has been locked up for 30 years right?  Vic came to Salem in 85.  Timing is actually spot on for once.

Btw – did anyone notice when they wheeled Vic into the hospital he had an Apple Watch on?  LOVE that!!!

Btw – I’m loving Deimos (the character is a good baddie) but this SL is a "meh" for me.  Though I suppose I should be happy we have Vic on screen as much as we do.  I hate that the writers rewrote Maggie’s history (and made her into a liar on top of that) to fuel a SL that is going no where (since Summer is short term right?)  Couldn’t she have just been an egg – ala Daniel?

and although I do like Marie Wilson, the Summer character is a huge fail for me, too, and since she is short-term and should be gone in the very near future, perhaps during May sweeps (although I’m not sure about that and I don’t know her exit sl), why even bother with the character in the first place?  Just lazy writing is what it is to me.  Since we know that Dena Higley went on her leave of absence back in August, and the show is still 5-6 months ahead, the all of the stories we are seeing now are Griffith’s/Milstein’s, with perhaps some outside interjection by Higley, although I can’t be sure about Higley’s, but she is still listed in credits, I am somewhat disappointed that Griffith would be the one behind all the darkness that’s being presented by so many characters at once.  Now, Griffith is gone and Higley came back in February, but hers and Quan’s stories won’t really be on screen until late summer.  Just boggles my mind because Griffith claimed he knew DOOL so well, loved it’s characters, and always wanted to write for them, but it seems the entire show has been turned into doom and gloom, and it appears there’s even more coming, and personally I’m sort of fed up with the overkill.  I need some love and romance at times to escape the darkness we seem to be seeing on a daily basis.

Good catch about the Apple watch!

I just don’t get it. If Maggie really had this girl when she was young (pre Mickey) she would be much older than she is. This girl seems to be Daniel’s age so the stolen egg would have made more sense.

Everyone said that Griffiith’s stories would be so much better than Higleys but this show has become so dark. Itseems that everyone has a secret violent story about a character that has done wrong and has a secret. There needs to be some bright spots in the show and yet none exist.

Can’t figure our the importance of the Jen/Eric hookup when he is leaveing. So much potential wasted.

meanwhile they seem to keep adding characters, will they too get fired?? Why bother!

The revolving door of characters just makes for instability. And this is daytime tv, not the Black List. We don’t even get fun from the teen set and their issues are bleak as well. Days is supposed to be writing for an audience that wants some romance and at least islands of happiness that don’t last one episode.
I too scratching my head over the Jenn/Eric hookup.
