I couldn’t quite see what was in that bag in the wall at the cabin. Was it the clothes that Chase wore at the tiime of the shooting. That was pretty silly of Aiden to do that. Was he trying to chop it out and bury them with that shovel?
to put the clothes in a bag, put up drywall, paint the wall and put up a shelf and accessories rather than to burn or bury the clothes before he called the police.
Why would it have taken him 5 years to get rid it? It was an accidental shooting by a child (you see it in the news so often), so why wouldn’t he just call the police and report it. Now his problems will be what happens when Chase recovers his memory? So many holes in this storyline, but I will say, Daniel Cosgrove and Kristian Alfonso did some A-#1 work in yesterday’s show. I’m looking forward to see if it continues today, because this incident should at least bring Hope’s memories of Zach’s death into full focus. Will she help him, or will she feel obligated to report it? Good story, but, like I said, with lots of holes.
it’s just clothing. Aiden could have buried them anywhere – miles away. Or how bout simply burning them? I would think Aiden would not take any chance in having Chase return to the beach house. So I guess Meredith then is truly dead?
if the police were investigating the shooting which they obviously were since Aiden was said to be a suspect, then they would see that the angle of the bullet could not have been the result of a suicide. So many ways they would find out that she did not commit suicide. Also, why not get rid of the clothes? Also why cover up an accident? Get the poor kid some help idiot rather than make him believe his mother killed herself. Plus that type of IPad tablet did not exist 5 years ago. The whole thing is idiotic.
It seems that the writers aren’t sure how to write this story, Did Chase do it? Did Meredith fake her death?
Which way should they go? Either story could be interesting, but which one is it

where Hope stands on this. I can’t believe she would be willing to overlook it and continue to hide what really happened. So, is she just appeasing Aiden until she gets help or what? Actually she is out of her jurisdiction and has no obligation (other than moral) to report this at all.
Yeah, Aiden really did some superb acting on those scenes. I could feel his pain. But it’s time to get on with this now.
if Meredith is indeed alive which would get Chase off the hook. But how would this be explained and is Bree implicated?
Hope is like "We have work to do, let’s put the clothes back in the wall." Seriously? She’s a cop!!!! Destroy the evidence! Why would you leave it in the house connected to Aiden and Meridith? Burn them and bury the ashes!!! It doesn’t even make sense with the storyline, what was Aiden going to do with the ax and shovel anyway?
I doubt Meredith is alive. I think they’ll have Chase remember one day or that clothing will be found and the truth will be discovered. It still makes no sense. Chase looked like he was all of 2 or 3 and it was accidental. Why did it need to be covered up? Really dumb writers!
it would be just as hard on Chase to think his mother committed suicide than to think he accidentally killed her.
