All I can say is I sure hope they can keep the comedy in the show when she reprises her role as Susan Banks. Again, remember the disaster that Caliope was? That could so easily be Susan. Just because she was so popular before, doesn’t mean it can happen again. These are different writers and the show has moved in a somewhat different direction now. Keeping my fingers crossed. (I hope Eileen kept her teeth!)
And what part will Kristen play? I just don’t see her fitting in now. And, I don’t remember, was EJ on when she was still there? Maybe she can align with him to perpetuate the evil Dimera empire but, please, please, please, don’t have her go after John.
Or is Kristen NOT returning, only Susan playing Kristen. Oh, dear, what is going to happen? Does anyone know WHEN she returns?
right before the 2-week break for the Olympics; or, possibly, immediately thereafter. I don’t know why, but I can’t help thinking here is where we will finally find out if Stefano is really alive or dead, and that somehow Kristen may have been the shooter. She is, after all, Stefano’s adopted daughter and I’m thinking maybe she knew E.J. was not his biological son, but would stand to inherit what she perceives to be "hers." Don’t read anything into this, anybody, it’s just speculation on my part that might possibly identify Stefano’s shooter.
in a brothel type mid-eastern harem the last we saw of her? If my memory serves, (and it doesn’t a lot of the times), if so, please then writers – explain how she escaped, got out, ran away, bribed her way out…or what ever…don’t just have her show up in Salem and la-dee-da never explain her absence and how she returned.

I was just wondering about that same thing pammy! I remember her on some fishing boat like Kate or like you said, sold to some harem. I doubt we get any explanation. I just hope it’s Susan and not Kristin cause they will probably throw her into a mix of John and marlena.
EJ and Kristen were on at the same time but EJ was an infant. Last we saw of them both John and double crossed Kristen and Stefano or turned their plan against them and EJ left the country with Susan and Edward while Kristen was taken into slavery.

I thought Stefano and Kristen had arranged for Susan to be taken prisoner by that Sheik while Kristen was going to go off with little Elvis but John got the better of them somehow had Kristen taken prisoner instead while Susan and Edward were able to leave with Elvis.
but, apparently, there were some complaints about racial slurs about that explanation and we got one show where she was supposedly being held on a Carribean island instead. How she gets off that island would be anybody’s guess.
But, I still have a feeling that it will NOT be the real Kristin but Susan playing the part again…for whatever reason…that returns.
belly-dancer on in the top 20 of SYTYCD – she is proud of her mid-east heritage. What’s wrong with with the writers/NBC having Kristen/Susan being held captive in a harem? It’s a fact of life over there – women are still today third class citizens. Can’t change historical or current facts to puddin’ coat the Hollyweird bunch – I refuse to.

It’s getting where people are losing their jobs and worse for making some kind of remark that might possibly offend someone or other. They say we have freedom of speech but not if you say something that someone else might not like. It’s getting ridiculous. Just consider the source and get on with life. Sticks and stones, after all…
I really don’t believe someone should be fired just because they were a weenie-head and made a racist (or whatever) remark. If they’re going to do that, then they should also fire anyone who uses the "F" word which, to me anyway, is very offensive. Stupid, stupid, stupid!
