You know it is a shame that the character of Carly has been let go. For one thing Crystal has done some of her best work ever. Now that she is with Quinn, I like their interactions and think this could play out into a nice story with the son of the woman who wants her dead.
I doubt the writers will reconsider keeping her, but what I am seeing is a nice switch from the revenge mode. I don’t know when Crystal’s last air date is but she is certainly going out with some great class in her scenes!!
nothing is permanent. She’s being sent off not killed off. Quinn got a reprieve, maybe she will be back later with him. I agree that her acting has been superb and I like the rapport she has with Quinn.
Even when lots were hating on Carly, I have always enjoyed CC’s interpretation of the character. What a wonderful actress she is, and I will miss her so much. I really am enjoying her scenes with Quinn and wish they would have had some insight into this pairing before the wrote her off. Bren Foster (Quinn) will be leaving, temporarily, but I love the idea behind the possibilities of pairing Carly with her greatest enemy’s son. I hope her departure will be temporary as well, because I see great chemistry between BF and CC. Here’s hoping!

Anytime Carly is in a storyline not involving Bo and Hope I am in complete support of it. She is a strong character and an excellent actress. The only downfall with her is that we are forced to see that annoying Melanie more. Blah.
sometimes when she’s acting rationally I can take her. And I have begun to like her with Dario. But this girl is always crying or stumbling with her words or making dumb faces, and worst of all, any hint of a Mel/Brady connection makes me reel.
I think Quinn initially helped her without knowing who it was. He heard her story (about her son, etc) and I think it helped him to see his own story from a different light, from the mother’s point of view. I think it gave him a different appreciation for why Vivian left Quinn’s father, whoever that may be (anyone guessing here??). Plus, I think that he knew that Vivian was more of a mother to Lawrence (and Nicholas) than to Quinn, and now here’s Lawrence’s wife/Nicholas’s mother in need of desperate help. Nicholas has rejected his mother, so what better way to get back at Nicholas for stealing Quinn’s mom, than for Quinn to help Nicholas’s mom? I think he also has come to realize that he’s only ever heard Vivian’s side of the story of how wonderful Lawrence was and how evil Carly was but now he’s heard how abusive Lawrence was so maybe he’s realizing that there really are two versions of the same story.
Or, I’m just over-analyzing!
rationalize is disgusting treatment of Chloe? I just can’t wrap my head around his caring behavior regarding Carly/Nicholas and then watch his disgusting behavior regarding Chloe/Parker. I know there’s a blood connection with one and not the other; but, his actions are just too extreme between the two for me. Personally, I wish the Quinn character was still on the chopping block.
So other than Carly is the show with watching yesterday?? I dvr’d it went to Amish country with mom and neighbor. Just wondering if it’s worth watching before one o’clock.
Chad being shot was very good also. And Carly’s return to her family. Also the conversation between Stefano and Victor.
