it wouldn’t surprise me in the least if his DAYS were numbered, even though JT is a close friend of Corday’s. I don’t like him with Carly at all, though. Can you imagine the family gatherings? Bo and Hope trying to make family small talk with Roman and Carly? Please!!! Not happening, IMO. The only logical choice for me would be to bring Anna back. Or do the writers intend to leave her in Limbo forever? Maybe she’s in Stefano’s basement, too. I liked Roman with Anna, but unless these writers intend to stop making every new character somebody’s undisclosed or long-lost son or daughter, sister, brother, cousin, or their own grandpaw, couples are practically forced into relationships with some unknown, long-lost relative. How TPTB figure this is good soap and fans like it is beyond my wildest imagination. So, writers, how about a new storyline, getting Roman suddenly obsessed with finding Anna, and, BAM, you’ve killed two birds with one stone; giving Josh Taylor a good storyline (who, I might add, has not had one since Baltimore was a prairie), and a reconciliation with probably the only other woman besides Marlena that Roman really loved. And that’s all I have to say about Carly and Roman (LOL)!
with Rafe when she……are you ready for this……sleeps with him. They’ll probably keep this thing going until May sweeps. Disgusting! Sami, the next time Rafe tells you don’t trust E.J. or Stefano, believe it, because you’re going to soon find out just how much that E.J.’s pact with God meant to him with Stefano controlling him. Lots of fast-forwarding for me on this S/L, I can see it now.
Steven Tyler and J-Lo. It’s about time they cast judges who are industry icons and can spot the good ones right off the bat. I thought Steven was funny and got right into the role. J-Lo was a bit shy at first and I thought, "oh, no, another Ellen who doesn’t want to tell these people no," but, then she warmed up to the job and got swept up in it herself, giving good critiques, yet letting people down gently, which is how it should be. My favorites were the last girl from the first round (was she the one from Kosovo), and the last guy of the second half. He was terrific. Lots of talent, 51 golden tickets on the first audition. Hopefully, these new judges will be honest, fair, and use their experience to critique, and leave the antics to people like Simon and Kara. Looking forward to a great season.
am I going to have to go through the next however many months they decide to torture me with another character who is mildly tolerable on some days, and twenty degrees below ‘nails on a chalkboard’ on ‘most’ days, walking around Salem constantly HOLDING HER BELLY? Okay, so it’s not bad enough that the really good actors are bolting when their contracts end, I have to now ask myself: is it really that they want to take other avenues, OR, do they believe, as do I, that that for the better part of 2011 we will join the exodus from DOOL land, or feed our habits and continue to watch MB constantly holding her tummy, while the writers turn this show into "The Melanie Hour"? (OMG…kill me now)

by mistake, I believe, so because it wasn’t confirmed by SOD or SOW at the time, nobody was taking it seriously, according to what I read on other boards. However, guess Peter really did let the cat out of the bag first. I’m very surprised about JKJ, but I had a feeling SH would be leaving, since the writers were certainly not giving her any good material to work with, and I hate the character of Stephanie, but SH is a very good actress and deserved better than these writers were giving her. JKJ is shocking to me, because there is so much left unsaid and undone with his character. I wonder, now, if Melanie will, at some point lose their baby and this is what makes Philip decide to leave Salem, because he will blame himself. Lots of changes going down in Salem. I also heard on the news this a.m. that it is official …. COMCAST bought NBC, so wonder what the result of that will be as far as DOOL is concerned. If they keep it, maybe they’ll put it on another COMCAST owned network, or leave it on NBC and put in on as a series for ON DEMAND.
and the storyline is not only boring, I just don’t care about the whole entire plot regarding the organ trafficking, etc. I was amused by Bo yesterday with his words and actions stemming from the sodium pentathol. He was sorta’ funny, but Warden Jane …. can’t wait until that woman gets out of here and takes Trustee Lee with her. I will be sorry to see Ty Treadway go, though. He had potential for Jennifer, but that door may still be propped open for Jack’s return at some point. The absolute worse thing for me about it is that Stefano will probably never, ever be discovered to be the ring-leader, and once again the DiMeras will be getting away with MURDER —- not ATTEMPTED MURDER, but out and out MURDER. His hand may not have been the one that removed the organs, but his orders demanded it. But I’ll bet he never even is revealed to be the ring leader. It would be so wonderful if Ben Walters would give him up as the "boss", WITH PROOF, before he departs, but then Stefano will probably have him killed first. Is there any wonder why I hate the DiMeras with such a vengeance?
undeserved finger-pointing toward Victor yesterday, blaming him for everything where Vivian was concerned, his mind might want to be rethinking getting involved with her. I know opposites attract, but were it not for Victor’s concern for her, Maggie would be pushing up daisies right now. Give it a rest, Mags.
they earned it. We "dropped the ball" in that game (pun intended). It’s just disheartening to me, because I love football, and truly thought we were going to have ourselves a trip to Dallas for sure. Guess we just have to pick up our marbles again this year, but you are so right about the Steelers/Ravens being remarkably favored rivals to watch anytime they play. I was so crushed when we lost the Colts, but have been in love with the Ravens since they stepped off the bus from Cleveland (no disrespect intended — happens all the time in sports). I have to just pick myself up, dust myself off, and wait till next year to start all over again. LOL!
too bad it got such a low rating, cause Kathy Bates is a terrific actress, and she can play any type of role, serious, comedic or whatever. I would hate to see her take that kind of a hit with the critics who judge these new shows.
at least that’s the impression I get. Maybe they will take a chance with EM’s and NB’s chemistry; but, for some reason, I think we’re in for a quadrangle with Brady/Nicole/E.J./Taylor. I know, great, like triangles aren’t enough…..now we move to quads.
since Jason’s Sets indicate "Nurses’ Station/’Melanie’s’ Hospital Room." I wonder if she will lose her baby after all. I read that Mark Hapka’s last day is March 28th, and this airs March 2nd, so I’m guessing that Mel might just either be losiing her baby, or the baby is saved but she decides that she does not want to move on with either Nathan or with Philip, and Nathan decides to finally leave town. Just speculating here.

Maybe Maggie saw this coming and wanted to take them in before Parker wound up with Philip, Victor, or Kate. I wish they would strengthen the Chloe character. I’m really tired of seeing her this way.

It’s not a matter of ‘don’t know….don’t want to know,’ he would be just as guilty for accepting them illegally as the ones taking them illegally, IMO.
