let’s see, loved Clint and Jovany; hated Jordan and could not have been happier that he fell on his face.  The young man has a vicious, self-centered attitude that makes him believe he’s "all that" next to everyone else, and I think he will come to see, real, real fast, that he’s far from it.  Loved James Durbin to death — he wasn’t too over the top last night, and that Judas Priest song was perfect for him in every way.  I think Steven likes the ‘rockers’ but he’s such a great judge and was very complementary to the balladeers as well last night.  Red-headed kid is headed straight (no pun intended) down the tubes.  He’s as flamboyant with his singing and his movements as his hair.  No need for all that — he’s got a good voice but I don’t expect him to shine at all.  Stefano is cute as a button with a terrific voice.  I expect he’ll go far.  But my absolute 2 favorites are Jacob Lutz and Casey Abrams; two unique voices, different as night and day, but the best of the best IMO.  Unless one of them screws up a song royally, I’m predicting them to go to the top of the leader board in no time flat.  Casey has an incredible ear and displayed it last night.  He’s a little bit like an old Ray Charles album entitled "Genius + Soul = Jazz."  And Jacob — you could make angels cry — that’s how good you are.

speech he laid on Kate yesterday, there is no way in hell he would have left Parker with her.  What gets me about Kate (and others as well when they are having a confrontation in someone else’s house), is that she is told to get out and the witch just stands there, refusing to leave.  I would like to have seen Daniel just grab her by the back of her neck and PUT her out the door, making sure no physical harm came to her for we know Broomhilda would sue.  That or pull a James Cagney on her and push a grapefruit in her face.

Taylor in a "new" direction when Tamara Braun shows up in April, so I don’t think that’s going to work.  Right now Brady is heading down the dark side as well, so just about the time they might be having a positive effect on each other, I’m sure the writers will decide it’s time for the real Taylor to show up.  Frankly, I don’t care what they do between the triangle of Taylor/E.J./Nicole — I just don’t want to see Brady hurt again.  If that’s the plan, keep her (Taylor) star-struck with E.J. and let him be torn between two lovers and leave Brady alone.

Heinz Ward, Wide receiver for Pittsburgh Steelers, is a definite contestant.

Who meets someone, a complete stranger, and fixates on them for all of two days, claiming to have "true" feelings for this person, other than, of course, a deeply disturbed, lonely, possibly abused individual looking for a way out through writing about it?  Honest to God, I have never been so insulted in my entire adult life with what they expect of us with this story line?  Do these people, and they know damn well who they are, expect to keep audiences with this type of writing?  If they do, they’re more delusional than I thought.  Not only is it unconscionable, it’s downright laughable and makes people just want to leave, since no one at the top refuses to MAKE IT STOP.

Push the faux-Rafe storyline to end sooner rather than later; let E.J. make up his mind, pick one, and stick to it; give me more road to recovery for Chloe.  Nadia is doing a superb job with this story line; give Brady something to do, what’s happening to Vivian; stop this nonsense with Jennifer and Daniel —- they don’t work at all; I could go on and on and on.  If the writers and the EP’s don’t know what’s wrong, how can I expect them to fix it.  We need a slow recovery story line for Bo and Hope, with her eventually rejoining the SPD.  I like her in detective mode.  Besides, it shows someone working at least.  Give Roman a story all his own, maybe having something to do with Kate.  I hate Stefano, and I’m ready for him to go.  He’s getting cheesier and cheesier by the day, barking out orders that nobody ever listens to anyway, or that never pan out the way he plans for them to.  Backburner the tri’s and quad’s for a while and focus on interesting stories dealing with everyday problems and knock off the sci-fi bullshit like cloning, erasing memories; stealing children; killing or maiming children; and get back to the basics of knowing how to tell a story with an umbrella effect raining down on the lives of others, but don’t run it longer than 3 months.  After that it becomes boring.  Anyway, you get my drift, Ms. Higley and Co., make it right or ‘bite me’ and go back to One Life to Live.  That show’s getting better and better while DOOL is in mourning for what once used to be.  Rant over; and, as usual, JMHO.

is "rumored" to be Faye Dunaway.  She’s 70 now.

The only person from the projected "RUMORS’ LIST" that I’m pretty sure we will see in Season 12 is Pittsburgh Steelers Wide Receiver, Heinz Ward. The rest are just ‘meh’ to me, whether they made it or not.  I did read that the ever-popular pro, Derek Hough, will NOT be with the show this season. He is shooting a film and will not be included in the 2011 cast of professionals.  He will be playing the part of guess what……a dancer!

when they brought back Anna, but once again the writers and I were on a different page.  No surprise there!

part of him remembers his mother’s warnings and how hard she fought to hide him from Stefano DiMera.  He loved his mother and for his entire life, she was all he had to count on for a return of that love.  His step-father (D.A. Woods) didn’t want anything to do with him, and he was shipped off to boarding school causing him to lose not only Mia, but their child.  Now that he fully realizes what kind of family he truly comes from, the power, the money, the mere fact that being a DiMera gives him privileges far beyond what he could ever imagine having, all of these things will give him cause to sit back and observe for at least a while which side of the fence he will wish to be on.  The fear his mom expressed alone in him even being around Will because he was living in Stefano’s home, and now his friendship with Will, will give him cause to pay more attention, I believe.  As for his relationship with E.J., I think they will become close at some point.  Personally, I hope he will bond with E.J., not in doing the wrong thing, but perhaps in sort of ganging up on Stefano when the time is right to do so.  So far E.J. has been helpless against Stefano’s demands; now, perhaps, he will have some help in overthrowing the Phoenix.  I’d like to think so anyway.

but I was repeating what one of the kids said, that before that particular audition he had ‘never heard a Beatles’ song,’ and now he had 24 hours to learn and rehearse one …… not that he never heard of the Beatles.

I don’t know if Kate’s that strong or her children are that weak; but, damn, wouldn’t it be nice to see some payback …… JUST ONCE ….. and that goes for any of the show’s true villains, instead of having to watch the ones who do the least damage be the ones who pay the most.  I know I would.

Missy and Shawn.  I, too, am wondering what’s up with CC?  Seems she’s really been put on the back-burner; however, I’m guessing we’ll see more of her when Melanie’s new drama comes to the screen.   I did read that Missy just got her hair cut (thank God), now I just hope whoever is dressing her takes off their blindfold.

DOOL wins something this year.  Remember last year …. someone was nominated in practically every category, and DOOL, it’s talented actors, technical people, directors, writers (I know, undeserved), down to hair and make-up, did not win anything.  Maybe we’ll get luckier this year.  I know the 2011 Emmys are awarded for work performed in 2010, but it just rubs me the wrong way when an individual category is won by a person who is no longer with the show, especially if they were fired.  But then, the actor nominees present their own tape(s) of what they believe to be their best performance, so I guess it should not be surprising if once they’re gone, they’re not forgotten.
