matching up Taylor and Brady? They seemed to hit it off pretty good today.
And I don’t know about anybody else but I’ve had it with this Rafe2 clown. I just can’t stand him. And I’m afraid it’s going to color my feelings for RealRafe when he gets out.
I would really like to see them as a couple, but it’s not going to happen. (I don’t know if I can post why here)
and get a good relationship with a woman because he’s had a lot of bad experiences with ladies in the past, (Chloe and, Nicole,) and he’s a nice guy (with the exception of how they are writing him now stealing Titan from his granddad). I’d hate for him to end up like Roman and not have anyone ever. Unfortunately, as DaysFanForever indicated…Taylor is not going to be "the one and only for him" since we know what’s going to happen with her already.
Taylor in a "new" direction when Tamara Braun shows up in April, so I don’t think that’s going to work. Right now Brady is heading down the dark side as well, so just about the time they might be having a positive effect on each other, I’m sure the writers will decide it’s time for the real Taylor to show up. Frankly, I don’t care what they do between the triangle of Taylor/E.J./Nicole — I just don’t want to see Brady hurt again. If that’s the plan, keep her (Taylor) star-struck with E.J. and let him be torn between two lovers and leave Brady alone.
Although I think the actress currently playing the role of Taylor, is pretty cool, I’m more than happy to know that actress Tamara Braun will be returning, and taking over the role! I remember when she was on the soap a while back…She and EJ would make a lovely couple! I can feel the electricity as I type, and can see the chemistry! Ooh la la!
I cant stand R2 either, i said before that he reminds me of allister crane on passions. he was a big perv too and gave me the creeps, just like R2. it makes me shivver every time he’s on and not in a good way. i know rafe is going to be faking his memory loss. this SL is just so incredibly stupid. this is the time the writers NEED to read the boards to know how much we HATE this SL!!!!!!
I also liked taylor and Brady together. i’m also glad that he brought Chloe to the mansion and stuck up for her. i cant see him and tamara braun though. now i wish they werent replacing her . i am getting sick of her and EJ bumping into each other. just wants to make me roll my eyes.
I wish the writers would let Sami grow up with the real Rafe before they decide that "happy couples don’t work." As to Taylor- I’d send the whole character packing. If they want TB, then they should just let her first character return! I still can’t think of Josh’s Roman as the real one! When your audience watches the show for the amount of time many have, you can’t buy into actors returning to the show and playing a different part! To me it’s like bringing the actor that played Tony Dimera and telling us he’s John Black now! Silly!
Brady doesn’t have many choices: Nicole/Taylor/Chloe (round 2)? He should be too young for Jenn or Carly. He’s sort of related to Jenn by marriage and Sami’s his sister (half any way). I actually would rather see a Brady/Nicole/EJ triangle with the two baddies going after Nicole.
Rafe2 like Alistair Crane? Hmm, hadn’t thought of that one. I Stefano more like Alistair than Rafe2. Stefano meddles in his kids’ lives, doesn’t care how or who he hurts or tortures to get what he wants. The only difference is that Alistair was one sick puppy where sexual relations were concerned and I haven’t seen that with Stefano – yet any way.
Okay, that’s my quarter’s (2 cents plus inflation) worth.
It seems also like they can’t decide how far to push the EJ character into the darkside before he is totally irredeemable. I’m sick of him too.
I just meant Allister gave me the creeps the way R2 is giving me the creeps, he’s not necessarily like allister where family and business are concerned, R2 is a complete sex-crazed alcoholic idiot. (well in fact he is like allister in that way too lol). they both disgust me!

I don’t see where Brady and Jenn are related by marriage except his Uncle Bo is married to Jenn’s cousin? Sami and Brady are step brother/sister. They had a completely separate set of parents BUT since it turned out that John Black was really a Dimera and Brady offspring then he is her cousin once removed since Sami’s great-grandfather is John’s grandfather. They’re more confusing than the Royal Family with all the familial relationships going on. (Chelsea/Max, Stephanie/Max, Sami/EJ)
Since when does age really matter in Salem? The way the aged Phillip he should have been too old for Melanie. Dan was too old for Chelsea but at least they did talk about that. Lexie SHOULD have been too old for Brandon since he was her husband’s son. I think they just adjust the age of the character up or down to match the age of the person they’re with that week.
but I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if they don’t put Brady up close and personal with Melanie now that she’s lost her baby and has decided she cannot be with Philip or Nathan. She might just run to Brady for support, and he has always been there for her. I know he’s been like a brother to her in the past, but it wouldn’t surprise me if these less than imaginative writers didn’t consider it. I don’t think they will reconcile Brady with Chloe, and there is a new cast member coming in that might be in a story line with Chloe. Who else will make me sicker than seeing Brady with Melanie? That would be E.J. anywhere close to revisiting his obsession with Sami.
usual), from reading what you wrote on the interwoven, complex intricacies of the Salem collective…and as I usually rail against new characters, I may change my stance. I would like Brady to find someone someday. I’d like Roman to as well, (he’s been alone for a very long time). Perhaps, as some of you have indicated – some new blood is warranted, otherwise the next few generations of Salemites are going to look like two-headed purple pokadoted people eaters with all the cousins marrying cousins even if twice or thrice removed!
Please though, NO more triangles for at least a year…those I am sick of. They can’t even let couples get down the aisle (M&P and E&N), have a baby (C&D), and others before they break them up. No more triangles, quads, or anything for a while, come up with something new writers!
that one Patti (evil genius)…Please don’t do that one writers. To me that would be on the same low level as when they paired up Daniel and Chelsa. Bleah! Not that Brady is as old as Daniel but he’s just more of a ‘family’ relationship with Mel and I’d hate to see those two "hook up", I’m already FF’ding through about 1/2 of the week’s worth of show as it is now.
Besides, as they do for all women in the show, they must pair them with a guy immediately instead of letting them stand on their own two feet. Granted, not sure what else Melanie is good at other than arm candy…well…it’s true!!! I’m not saying anything that hasn’t been shown for the last three years or so that she’s been on the show. Let alone with the stint of her "nursing" career (that was fast-tracked in three seconds flat), what else has she done besides be with, chase, or catch a guy?
I like the character of Melanie now, (at first when she first came on – back in France and first few months of the show in Salem, I didn’t like her at all). And she still has days that I cannot stand to watch her, but she has come around, she just needs a life of her own. I’m tired of these women of Salem not being able to stand on their own two feet. Maggie is a rarity. Who else in Salem, is self supporting, works, and is a put together woman who doesn’t plot and plan? Since Marlena left Salem, Maggie is the only one, (I’m talking major characters).
