Nene and Star, and even Marlee and Hope, were extremely judgmental of her and I didn’t think she did a bad job.  She just wasn’t as confrontational as the others.  As for Nene, she’s a little too much of a ‘flip-flopper’.  She’s with you one minute, and against you the next, like she was with LaToya.  Star is Star, and she’s not going to change.  She’s a ‘take-charge’ woman and that’s been very obvious from day one.  I personally think Marlee will wind up in the finals, even though she doesn’t seem as aggressive as Star or Nene, but I’d bet if you rattled her chain too hard, she could go off on anyone.  When she wants to make herself heard, she has no problem ‘speaking’ her mind.  She might just be the dark horse where the women are concerned.  As for the men, I’m getting a little tired of Lil’ John.  He doesn’t impress me, but I do give props to Meatloaf and John Rich for both being good, solid players.  Still, I’m not counting Marlee out to win it.  Omarosa was a strong woman with too much of the wrong thing to say most times; I think the same thing will happen to Nene and Star.  Still, the person who will win will be who Trump wants to win.  There’s no doubt in my mind that this show is controlled by him.

jump from the frying pan into the fire.  Rebound relationships cannot avoid comparisons, and that always gets them in trouble.  If you’re going to start a new relationship with someone shortly after leaving the "love of your life," you had better make damn sure that the first "love of your life" is completely out of your life, and you’re not still watching his every move until you wind up making the same mistakes over and over.  I can see this happening to all of these characters who leave a "true love" relationship, regardless of who left first, and then jumping right back into another one.  That’s always been a huge problem with soaps.  It’s just a staple soap opera plot, like triangles and who’s the daddy stories/plots.  It’s not just Days, it’s all soaps, and I truly believe it’s what killing the genre altogether.  Folks are just plain tired of it.

and I can honestly say that I do like him with Melanie.  It’s about time they put her with someone who is closer to her age.  Their chemistry is much more convincing than hers and Philip’s or hers and Brady’s (ugh).  And, even though they were closer in age, I didn’t warm up to her and Mark Hapka (Nathan Horton) that much either, but I will say that her and Dario are growing on me.  Now, if only he can sew her lips shut, it will be a "win-win" situation.

back at all.  I mean what was the purpose?  She’s been gone for years, and then suddenly she’s back, and as Taylor Raines, no less.  Like, who in the hell is "Raines"?  That one was never explained.  Also, Nicole couldn’t care less about her when she first came back.  She even tried to get rid of her right off the bat until it became evident that someone decided to make this ridiculous E.J.’s new "love at first sight" story line, which has just about gagged everyone right from the start, since to me it has almost ruined James Scott, and everyone knows it, including James Scott.  If I had to watch those scarf-sniffing, puppy-dog glances, "be-still-my-heart" flashbacks one more time, I would have lost it completely.  I do like Tamara Braun, and she is so much better an actress than Natalia Livingston, but the whole idea of Taylor returning at all has been a complete failure, something these writers are getting pretty good at.  Now things are going to change dramatically, so maybe then I will be able to appreciate the role a little more than I do now.

which only goes to prove that a monarchy is a ‘ROYRL’ pain in the ass. LOL.

I think I’m starting to like them, but they really have to start acting like adults and not high schoolers.   Jennifer is so cute and Daniel acts like he’s never been with a woman before.  Seriously, actors, you are underacting, and Jennifer is taking the hit here.  Sure, they both want to be careful, but seriously, they are not teenagers here.  They are two consenting adults, with grown children, who obviously care about one another, and watching them go through these shy, obnoxious conversations is making them look bad.  Today was a start, unless, of course, Melanie and Carly decide to throw in the hook, which would undoubtedly make the children the parents, and the parents the children.  I could see that happening with Melanie, since it is obviously apparent that she would want mommy and daddy to be the end game.

then William becomes his father’s heir to the throne as King.  I don’t know where in line that leaves poor Harry.  LOL

Seeing a softer side of him now has changed him for the better, IMO.  I will say that I would rather see him with Melanie than Brady.  That’s the combo that is disgusting to me, unless their relationship is kept strictly platonic.

even Jimmy, the show’s producer, thought it would be Jacob.  I had to laugh when he said after seeing his outfit, he thought he went into the wrong dressing room, because DWTS is just down the hall from them.  In any event, Casey is gone and what a travesty that is.  The only thing I can think of is his choice to do jazz rather than pop was the reason he’s gone.  Kids just don’t appreciate that genre.  I also was not shocked to see Scotty up there, but glad he’s still safe for now.  For how much longer is anyone’s guess.  Casey’s song selection did him in, I have no doubt.  I think Haley is getting stronger, and Lauren continues to be getting by on her voice, but again, I agree with the critique given by Jimmy.  She is not confident enough to win it.  I think her nerves will do her in if she makes it to the finals.  Jacob should have gone home a long time ago, but it is what it is and Casey will now have to rely on all those agents and record producers waiting in the wings to grab him up, pens and contracts in hand.  We should all be so unlucky, right?  Still lovin’ Scotty, but he’s on shaky ground at this point in the competition, and I think he knows it.  My guess is James Durbin is going to be 2011’s American Idol.

I can almost see something there.  I like that they’re somewhat shy and bashful toward each other at this point.  They’ve both been pretty badly burned, and the last thing either of them would want to happen would be to decide to go with their feelings and then have the boom lowered on them again.  So, their being somewhat cautiously optimistic, and I sorta’ like that.

I think now that he’s got more company and guys to share his thoughts with, he won’t feel so lonely.  I want to see him get back in the game just to see how he’ll play it with Rob now.  If he hasn’t learned his lesson by then, then he should go home because he be about as dumb as a box of rocks if he ever got friendly with him ever again ….. or Andrea for that matter, because she is sticking to Rob like glue because she knows she’s a good bet to get voted out next, or shortly thereafter.

I could not stand Nick Corelli.  I can’t say much for the new guy (Quinn).  Kinda’ quick for him to jump in and ask her to dinner.  He doesn’t even know Chloe.  Something’s not right about a guy walking up to a table and asking a woman to dinner who is a complete stranger to him.  Although, he is supposed to be connected to Vivian in some way, so maybe she put him up to it.  Maybe this is her was of continuing to torture Chloe …. why I don’t know, except to think that she’ll think it will put her back in good graces with Victor.  Dayscafe revealed a spoiler yesterday that says Chloe "falls in love with him" (that’ll probably be quicker than you can blink your eye), although it goes on to say that he’s "not a bad guy."  Well, if he’s a pimp and he’s inserting himself into Chloe’s life, asking her to dinner when he doesn’t know her from Adam, and he has connections to Vivian, I have to ask …. how good can he be?

while they were on the picnic.  I’m not going care one way or the other whether she and E.J. become a couple because of what they’re doing to Nicole, but I have a feeling Nikki will soon have something in mind for both her husband and her sweet, saintly sis.

I think I read once where it was definitely the intention to make Maggie the new matriarch, and it certainly looks that way to me.  She’s the all around ‘go-to’ when it comes to sharing her wisdom, guidance, and understanding to anyone who suddenly decides to take the wrong road.  Looks like she’s going to have to do a complete intervention where Chloe is concerned, though.
