Participantfrom the time he left Salem, he could have grown a beard. I would hope not, though. That face is much too handsome to be covered in facial hair.

Participantthings are certainly looking better each day (at least through sweeps, anyway). Love the angst between Maggie and Victor, knowing in her heart that although she does not agree with him on all counts, she still wants him. Maybe he will wise up and realize ‘you get what you give’ in a relationship and not be so critical, especially of things that Maggie is passionate about. As for Sami and Rafe, I simply cannot get enough of them and hope they can continue to write them this way, taking their time, talking through situations, and her helping him regain his memories where their being so in love is concerned. I know he will figure it out; just don’t make it too quick. Also, I can’t wait until Bo and Roman finally realize what the DiMeras did, not only to Rafe, but especially to Sami. Wonder what Sami and Rafe will do with faux Rafe until they decide to expose the truth. What’s going down with Quinn and Chloe? I truly hope he’s not the bad guy the spoilers first proclaimed him to be, but knowing he will be connected to Vivian has me fuming already. And sorry, but I loved Brady "flipping off" Nichole today. What did she think she could do, ‘have her cake and eat it, too?’ Sorry Nikke, but I truly think the Brady Train has left the station for you. Serves you right for dumping him for a scheme you’ll have to live with now, as much as E.J. will have to live with yours. Well, for now anyway.

Participantwhen she tried to leave and E.J. actually looked like he was going to cry, declaring, "Taylor, I LOVE YOU….I LOVE YOU …. I laughed out loud. So comical to the point of feeling sorry for JS. How could he let them do this to him? He’s been so verbal in the past about story lines, I’m surprised he hasn’t lashed out about this one yet. And I couldn’t agree more, although I do like Tamara Braun, Taylor and E.J. have ZERO chemistry.
Patti
ParticipantI just don’t know if Sami will buy it with Nicole just finding out about it, since she’s married to E.J. I’d love to see that happen, though.

ParticipantFirst of all, I loved all of the inspirational songs. The whole concept was terrific, and everyone picked a good song that inspired them and the audience, IMO. I loved Lauren’s rendition of Martina McBride’s "Anyway", relating it to the victims of the recent tornadoes in Alabama. Very fitting lyrics for the concept of the message. However, I hated her Elvis Presley rendition of "Trouble". I also thought her practically refusing to say she was "evil", which was probably 50% of the song’s lyrics, was just an indication of how much of an insecure, pure child she is, and that’s not gonna’ get her the win. Her attempt at showing she could be a "sultry songbird" didn’t do it for me, and I thought she was all over the place with it; from sashaying up to the on-stage musicians, to hopping all over the place, just left me with the opinion, "honey, stick to country."
Scotty, you’re adorable, but again, "stick to country." His rendition of the Alan Jackson epic regarding 9/11, "Where were you When the World Stopped Turning" brought tears to my eyes. However, his version of the Coasters "Young Blood" was not good, and I never thought I’d be critical of him. The song was too fast, and he didn’t reach the notes he should have reached. Again, first song wins.
James, the magnificent, once again you stole the show. Nothing says inspiration better than Steve Perry and Journey’s "Don’t Stop Believing," and you stopped the show with that one. "Love Potion No. 9" was from my generation, and you nailed that as well. Jennifer is right, there’s NOTHING you can’t sing.
Here’s my gripe. I thought the judges were unfair all around with Haley last night. Her first song was indeed inspirational enough, "Earth Song," by Michael Jackson, and she did not do a bad job with it. Only thing is, no one, not even someone with talent far beyond yours, sweetheart, should ever attempt a Michael Jackson song. They never go over with the judges, and there is just no one who can make it their own, or make it better, although you gave a good attempt. I thought Randy was harsh and I thought Jennifer was a little bit contradictory last night where Haley was concerned. Haley, on the other hand, was too defensive. When she said her range was much higher
no, it isn’t
you have to scream to reach some of the notes you do, and that’s not the way to nail those notes. Lauren has a much higher range than Haley. The second song choice, "I Who Have Nothing" was better, but not great IMO. Here’s the thing though. Randy was cruel for saying the first round was a tie between James, Scotty and Lauren, and saying nothing about Haley. That was out and out mean. Then they over-complimented her to make up for it in the second round. Just too damn obvious they were excusing themselves, and that may have cost her tonight. Steven was the most sincere last night. Finally, Lady GaGa is a mess.Patti
Participantalthough it serves Grant right for thinking Rob was the greatest thing since sliced bread. I’ll never forget him beating him on that log-rolling challenge and then declaring in a voice that would break the sound barrier: "I LOVE YOU, ROB." Either these people are just plain stupid, or they are all vying for Rob to take them to the finals, knowing full that NONE of the jury members would vote for Rob, realizing now that he played each and every one of them. I think that would be the only reason they would want to keep him in the game. Maybe it’s not because they think he’s such a stupendous leader; but, more because they know he will be so hated by the finals, they’ll want to enjoy the look on his face when he doesn’t get one single vote, just like Russell. I just can’t wrap my head around any other reason for these people to want him in the game.

Participantand liked Ashley Benson much better. NuAbby is very pretty, but they’ve done a reverse SORAS on her personality. She calls her father a ‘jerk’ one minute for not at least contacting Jennifer, after all she’s been through, and not bothering to contact her or her mom. She even goes so far as to suggest that Jennifer was right to divorce him and move on. She was happy that Jennifer was going on a date with the ‘hot doctor Dan’ and even helped her pick out an outfit, including giving Jen her own earrings, berating Chloe for calling Jen a ‘bitch’ for accepting a date with Daniel. Now, we have the 12-year old tantrum witnessed at the hospital between her and another 12-year old, showing a ridiculously obnoxious attitude toward a man she encouraged Jennifer to date in the first place, because she misses her father and wants him and Jen back together. Go figure! Make up your mind, girl, before you, like Stephanie Johnson, get on my last nerve.

ParticipantEOM
Patti
Participantthey announced it at one of the book events. Don’t know the storyline yet, or how old he will be, or why just one is coming.

ParticipantThe first hour was absolutely spectacular. They showed re-runs of old results shows over the years, and the pros, past and present, performances. Gosh, I really miss Derek. His performances were like no others, especially his paso doble with Chelsea Hightower, and I didn’t realize this, but she won an Emmy for her choreography for that piece. And then there was Derek’s performance, maybe with Chelsea again, I don’t recall, on top of the piano to "Great Balls O’ Fire," that had me standing up and applauding like I had a screw loose or something. All of the pros were breathtaking. Hope you get to see a re-run somewhere. I felt so bad for Romeo, although I can’t say I didn’t expect it, because I couldn’t help but feel that Ralph, although he braved it out, seems to have gotten the pity vote. The first two to make the finals were Hines and Kirstie, and I was surprised, because that meant that Mark and Chelsea had to face once again the possibility of going home, but when they were announced to be safe, it came down to Romeo and Ralph, and I really expected it to be Ralph. I agree, Romeo couldn’t have been more humble. He’s really a sweetheart. The only thing I didn’t get a thrill out of last night was that silly "DanceCenter" skit with Kenny Mayne, who I just don’t think is the least bit funny. Other than that, now it’s game on and I’m hoping Ralph’s leg has healed, because everyone’s entitled to one mishap, but not two. I’d say next week will determine whether it’s Ralph or Kirstie going home.

Participanttrying to convince him that Abbey is going to influence Chad’s decision to live with Stefano. It’s only a matter of time, especially when we get more into Chad’s story line, before Kate decides to intercede. Just what lengths she’ll go to try and stop her is anyone’s guess, but we all know that’s never stopped Kate before when she plots and schemes. And yes, you’re right about Jen being there like lightening to stop her. Even though Chloe had Maggie, Lucas, Daniel, Philip, Brady go up against Kate, she still got her to eat those damn brownies.

Participantwe don’t mean it in the true sense of the word. Yes, I’ve said many times over that I hate E.J., but I’ve never said I hate James Scott. And let’s face it, "hate" is just a word and simply another way of saying you truly dislike someone to the point that you wish they were gone, and I’m sure there are a hell of a lot of people that I truly "hate," and I’m not afraid to own up to it. You have said you "hated" the character, true, and whether or not I can prove you said you "hated" Tamara Braun is something I don’t care to spend the time researching; but, I would go so far as to say you have no problems tearing the actor from limb from limb when you describe her physical features as well as her acting are concerned. I don’t know if you’ve actually used the word "hate", but some of your adjectives used when you describe Tamara Braun have been more than hateful. Sorry! Remember "Rat-faced?"

Participantand all of them deserved it. I couldn’t help but laugh a little at how awkward she seemed to be. Did she close her eyes? Boy, she didn’t have any problem at all when she went after E.J. She just took aim and fired. Come to think of it, did she close her eyes when she shot E.J.? Of course, this time she had two guys rolling around on the floor and then both approaching her for the gun. Plus, she had to be dizzy from that head butt she did with the table. I think she did a "eenie, meenie, miney, moe," hoping she got the right one. Actually, I think she knew in her heart which one was "her" Rafe.
Patti
Participantwhen she fell, twice, in rehearsal. He was anything but rude and instantly started questioning her calorie intake, because she said she was taking in 1400 calories a day and her blood sugar evidently dropped severely, causing her to simply get dizzy. The second fall looked more serious, because she fell off of a platform with stairs. She was extremely lucky that she didn’t break something. And the look on Maks’ face was not to be denied (even though he is a perfectionist); it was one of genuine concern. I just love him (and his dancin’ hot bod as well). Also, and we don’t give him enough credit, Tom Bergeron is one of the best hosts I have ever seen in this type of show. I love his remarks for the judges, especially Len. They all seem to leave him wide open sometimes, and he never fails to come through with an extremely funny comment. But, Maks, you need to keep your hands off his butt, unless you think it brings you good luck. In that case, rub away.

Participantnothing’s a bigger bitch than karma, and it’s about time it bit these two in the ass but good. Poor Chad; all he’s looking for is a family. He doesn’t know he’s found the Mansons, and once broomhilda starts conniving against Abbey, who knows what he’ll do. She’s already put the bug in Stefano’s ear and is trying to make him believe that Abbey will ruin Stefano’s relationship with Chad. Oh, Kate, just because all your children have left you does not mean you have the right to ….. oh, hell’s bells, talk to the hand, Patti. You know she’s going to do everything in her power to ruin that relationship.
