Although she hasn’t positioned herself as the kind of girl who needs a guy, something unfortunately reminds me too much of Stephanie. Between the bad parted down the middle hairstyle and the acting like she’s a 10 year old, I don’t think I like her. I liked the old sweet Abby, this new Abby is a tad to "Jerseylicious" for me.
No need to insult us Jerseyans like that, LOL.
What I really don’t like about that hairdo is the roots. I want to run out and buy her a root touchup kit! And she looks way to mature for her behavior. Both her and Melanie. I’m tired of hearing about how all "kids" want their parents back together. They are way too old for this kind of behavior, IMO. Especially the nonsense with Abby blaming Daniel for Jen’s allergic reaction. It was just way too over the top for me. And then we had to have the immature Melanie jump into the foray. Hello girl, you’re a nurse. You’re supposed to be more sympathetic to people’s fear-filled reactions, especially Abby’s since her Mom just recently had her heart removed and replaced!
that about roots growing in. Geesh, if you’re on tv wouldn’t you want to look your best at all times? There’s no excuse for roots – unless of course it’s your intention to leave them be!
As for Abby, my mother called her a “snip” from day one and she hasn’t grown on me either. There’s something a bit attitude about her and how ridiculous of her to not believe her mom really did have an allergic reaction. What is this about Days always wanting their young actresses to have kneejerk reactions?I like Abby but I do see your point about her behavior at the hospital. She reacted badly and she shouldn’t have spoken that way to Melanie. I can forgive her for that though, she was upset about her mother. Not the best reaction but at least tolerable since she apologized. Melanie acted like an ass as usual. I cannot forgive that parted in the middle hairstyle though!
and liked Ashley Benson much better. NuAbby is very pretty, but they’ve done a reverse SORAS on her personality. She calls her father a ‘jerk’ one minute for not at least contacting Jennifer, after all she’s been through, and not bothering to contact her or her mom. She even goes so far as to suggest that Jennifer was right to divorce him and move on. She was happy that Jennifer was going on a date with the ‘hot doctor Dan’ and even helped her pick out an outfit, including giving Jen her own earrings, berating Chloe for calling Jen a ‘bitch’ for accepting a date with Daniel. Now, we have the 12-year old tantrum witnessed at the hospital between her and another 12-year old, showing a ridiculously obnoxious attitude toward a man she encouraged Jennifer to date in the first place, because she misses her father and wants him and Jen back together. Go figure! Make up your mind, girl, before you, like Stephanie Johnson, get on my last nerve.
I can understand Abby wishing her parents could work things out and stay together because they were married a long time and she was raised mostly by both of them. But Melanie wanting hers to be together is kind of silly. They were never married in the first place; they were friends that had a fling. And Melanie was never raised by both of them so she never got used to having them together.
Daniel and Carly were not friends that had a fling. they had a one nighter during a medical convention that both attended. but then that’s par for dear doctor Dan. Love em and leave em and on to the next. Sorry but Jen is not the girl for him.
You do realize that Missy Reeves is the real Jersey girl. I wasn’t trying to insult. As a matter of fact, I’ve never seen the show, but was flipping through the channels the other day and they had some sort of discussion about the show going on. One of those girls reminded me of Abby–it must be the black roots. They are hideous!
