Participantbut you have one thing going for you, and that’s certainly a good attitude. I don’t think I could be as upbeat as you sound about all these upcoming procedures, but I certainly do wish you the best of luck, a quick diagnosis, and a speedy recovery from whatever procedures you will face, and please know that I will keep you in my prayers.

ParticipantOzzy reminds me a little of Jason Cook (original Shawn D.). I think it’s his smile. In any case, I so agree about the underwear. It’s certainly not flattering to them in any way, shape or form. Phillip from last year was revolting in those baggy, stretched out damn pink briefs. Uggghhh! If they know they’re going to walk around like that, they should at least wear boxers.

Participantnothing is going to be explained in the first week. These are the beginnings of "new" stories, and I feel certain that, with a little patience, the suspense involved in answering the who, what, when, where, why and how behind the storylines themselves will be worth the wait.

ParticipantI hope she fully recovers, and that she will be able to overcome this horrible attack, both mentally and physically. God be with her and her family, and I certainly will keep her in my prayers.

Participantit doesn’t hold a candle to AI.

Participantshe struck me as highly ‘full of herself’ and her dancing did improve this week over last, but I think SHE thought she was a lot better. Chaz at least is more humble and likable, IMO. I did feel bad for Val though, and could not help noticing the look on his brother, Maks’, face either.

ParticipantI do like JS. He’s been written so poorly through Dena Higley that I have no use for him as that character. However, I must say, I think it’s a ruse to give the fans a new campaign to fight for. Pretty smart on behalf of both JS and the network, because people will continue to watch to see what happens with the character, and JS and KC and/or SONY will sit back and take it all in stride, knowing full well James won’t be going anywhere. I would be highly surprised if he did.

ParticipantEveryone’s been so anxious for September 26th, and yet all I’m reading (in most cases, that is) is negativity. I’m loving everything, from the actors, to the characters, to their storylines, to the writing. These are the very beginnings of the new Days, and I’m sure it will get better, but to see so many negative threads and comments is a little depressing to me. I know the writers will never be able to please everyone all of the time, but to see so much criticizm so soon is not fair to the show, the writers, or the actors and their roles. After all these are NEW storylines and should be given time to develop, and if anyone thinks they look the same as they did 10 or 15 years ago, I’d certainly like to know where they bought their magic mirrors, beause I’m sure going to rush out and buy one. I love how everyone looks, talks, acts, and the new writers get a thumbs up from this fan. I don’t remember when I’ve been so excited for the next day’s show.

ParticipantI found it strange, also, that Brady did not see John and Marlena. But what a cute scene when the kids ran into Marlena’s arms. I was glad Sami used some tact and allowed E.J. to hug Sydney and Johnny and tell them he loved them. Too little, too late for what he did to Rafe, who the kids do adore; but, still, it was the right thing for Sami to do instead of cause a scene at this wonderful event. Plus, it was obvious from the way Johnny ran into E.J.’s arms that regardless of what he knows he did, he still loves his daddy. Good for you, Sami.
I loved, loved, loved that Chloe had her say and left Kate speechless, although a good smack would have been deserved. Chloe showed Kate that regardless of how she feels about her, she has more class than to ruin the magic of the event. Good for you, Chloe. Tomorrow is Nadia’s last day, so I hope Brady, and maybe even Nicole, picks up on Kate where Chloe left off. She deserves it from all ends.
Finally, when Doug and Julie sang "Always" the floodgates that held back my tears opened. I just couldn’t help myself. I hope this party goes on all week. Then we can get down to some serious new stories.

Participantand that’s a shame when a team has to rely on solely one player, but Manning seems to have been their strength. Without him they don’t even look like the same team.

Participantwho was there to support him like many of the characters of a soap are when one of their own is a contestant. I don’t think they are a real-life couple. She played Natalia Hubbard, and was a police detective, and he was a cop. They met, fell in love and were engaged to be married when the show (All My Children) went off the air last Friday.

Participanthe looked like he didn’t even want to be there. His marks were very unfair and his criticism was definitely OTT last night. Poor Chaz Bono …. he’s just not going to make it much further, and I don’t expect the pity vote to carry him that far. His body just can’t take it, as evidenced by his pain in rehearsals. I just love, love, love J.R., and think he will go extremely far. I was disappointed in Maks and Hope last night, but not nearly as much as some others. Poor Derek …. it must be hard for him to lift his partner, so I’m not expecting him to win this year. It’s time for Maksim to break into the winner’s circle as well, but I’m still hoping J.R. Martinez will win it all. He’s extremely talented for someone with no dance experience, and I just love his outlook on life and how well he is able to cope with his life after his painful tragedy, and I would think that 32 surgeries with more to come would be painful.

Participantand she will have her words with Kate then. At least I hope she does, because the spoiler made it sound like she gives Kate a good tongue-lashing so I’m looking forward to today.
Daniel did look out of place. Everyone (the men) had on either suits or suit jackets (what I call ‘dress’ clothes), and he looked like he was out for a casual stroll in the park. And who in the hell did Jennifer’s hair? It was unkempt and falling in her face, and that hairdo is most unattractive for someone her age. On the other end, however, I found Victor to be a little over-dressed. E.J., however, looked splendid in that navy suit, white shirt and red tie. If he was displaying his political colors, he should keep up that dress code and throw away that damn light gray polyester suit and pink shirt.
I read the set is not only huge (we have not even seen all of it), but it’s decorated on both sides so when they need a particular wall or room, they simply have to take that part, turn it around, and wha la, the new scene comes to life in a matter of minutes. I thik Kate’s business office will be here, as well as Sami’s new job site.

Participantexcept maybe Hope and Nicole, who both looked beautiful in their dresses. I did not like Sami’s outfit either, and I hated that poofy pompador on top of her head, followed by a pony-tail. I usually like Sami’s hair, but lately not so much. But, I couldn’t agree more with the assessment of Melanie’s dress …. it was absolutely fugly, horrible, ill-fitting and that see-through bottom was atrocious. Absolutely the worst …. note to wardrobe: Burn That!!!!
