1. Hope / Kristian is one of the most beautiful women! I know there have been postings in the past about her weight, and she did look quite thin, but incredibly gorgeous!
2. So John and Victor wore tuxes and the other men wore suits/sports coats? It just didn’t seem like they were all dressed for the same occasion.
3. So with that HUGE crowd (sarcasm noted), how is it at all possible that Jack could hide in plain sight?
4. How did Lexie materialize from no where for her short scene with Abe. Why wasn’t she there earlier when they were first unveiling the town square?
5. Where was Caroline? There was a reference to her made by Austin, but shouldn’t we have seen her?
6. Where are all the kids? It’s hard to believe that the new town square that was supposed to be so child-friendly would not have loads of kids running around – especially the mayor’s son or Bope’s daughter Ciara?
7. And, yes, I do understand the change in writing staff, etc., but really, Marlena comes back for the dedication of the new Horton Square, but not for her granddaughter’s death (Grace) or her grandson’s cancer (Johnny), etc etc. And, where are all the other Horton children (Bill and Laura), grandchildren who sometimes materialize for Christmas and funerals? Couldn’t they make a one-time appearance for this big even? And, where’s Lucas? He’s a Horton!
I agree with alot of your comments, esp Jack, I mean come on. he’s got a beard and no one is really looking out for him to be there but still someone should recognize him.
Yes Hope looks absolutely sensational from the hair to the fabulous dress! I love that dress! Bo doesnt look too shabby either, and yes Daniel should have dressed up alittle more at least put on a tie. But I am loving seeing everyone so happy and dancing together. cant wait for something but it’s a spoiler so i cant post it on this page! I am so not looking forward to a JAck, JEnn and Daniel triangle.
They should have had Caroline there, i mean she was looking after the kids, she should have come with them.
I think that would be awesome if that millionaire matchmaker would find Poor Roman a woman! The guy deserves a nice woman. heck even she would be a good match for Roman!
I was surprised that there was no Ciera, I mean Theo is there. maybe she’ll show up before the party is over.
I found it strange, also, that Brady did not see John and Marlena. But what a cute scene when the kids ran into Marlena’s arms. I was glad Sami used some tact and allowed E.J. to hug Sydney and Johnny and tell them he loved them. Too little, too late for what he did to Rafe, who the kids do adore; but, still, it was the right thing for Sami to do instead of cause a scene at this wonderful event. Plus, it was obvious from the way Johnny ran into E.J.’s arms that regardless of what he knows he did, he still loves his daddy. Good for you, Sami.
I loved, loved, loved that Chloe had her say and left Kate speechless, although a good smack would have been deserved. Chloe showed Kate that regardless of how she feels about her, she has more class than to ruin the magic of the event. Good for you, Chloe. Tomorrow is Nadia’s last day, so I hope Brady, and maybe even Nicole, picks up on Kate where Chloe left off. She deserves it from all ends.
Finally, when Doug and Julie sang "Always" the floodgates that held back my tears opened. I just couldn’t help myself. I hope this party goes on all week. Then we can get down to some serious new stories.
I did laugh out loud when EJ referred to Marlena and John’s entrance as "the second coming of John and Marlena"….but I did tear up a little when they showed up.
It was my understanding there was a party or area just for the kids with a bouncy castle. At least before Rafe and Sami went he told her he dropped the kids off and they were so excited about the bouncy castle. I guess that was to keep the kids out of the way of the adults or maybe there’s a play area permanently set up for the kids in the town square. It is a place for families after all.
It is a beautiful set and can’t wait to see it used more. I remember how they used Salem Place a lot when it first opened. They had that outdoor cafe/coffee shop that Nicole worked (I think that’s where she met Eric), and you’d see Hope and Marlena doing their Christmas shopping.
Well, John I can understand with his recovery. But Marlena lacked her usual spark and kind of faded a bit into the background for me.
I’m sure though, that will be temporary.
Also, I felt Days laid on the schmaltz a bit thick. Do we need to see all these couples constantly kissing in public and hanging onto each other?
Otherwise, enjoyed the festivities and looking forward to getting down to biz.That really struck me in today’s show. Yes, I love my husband, but we have NEVER had a massive make-out session in public…ever! Why do so many of these couples do that? Or am I too conservative? (Hard to believe for a New Yorker!)
So, did I miss it or did John and Brady finally reunite and what about Kate and Austin?
Also, Jenn addressing the crowd with Jack standing in the background of where Abigail and Daniel were, and she still didn’t see him? Really? Because, by the way, I can even pick out my husband FROM THE BACK in a massive crowd. Ok, I will stop harping at this one.
especially John and Marlena with their lip-locks. Do people that age (well, any age for that matter) really do that in public? We asked for romance, I just hope this isn’t what they’re going to give us as a steady diet. It’s okay for new relationships but, geeze, not the old-timers.
I agree, I thought Marlena and John were not quite themselves. Hopefully that has more to do with the storyline than the actors
John and Marlena go after it so heavily either, Bonbon. Tone it down a bit you two or I’ll be FF-ing through your scenes for sure.
that big clunky watch when she was all dressed up. I thought when you dressed up like that you didn’t wear a watch. Check out all the women on the "red carpet," they never wear a watch.
