I was not wanting to see the dumb clown Jack and thinking maybe the writters would back off of that; but it’s Jack stalking around, easedropping on Jan and Danial, and, of course, falling onto the cake. I hope Jen and Daniel stay together…they are so cute! And she has looked so happy with him, happier than she ever looked with Jack. But of course the direction of this has been revealed with her guilt over her failed marriage with Jack (like her kids are warped because Jack didn’t love them enough to stay around.) I will never think of Jen as a smart woman again if she returns to him from guilt.
I really hope Jack explains to Adrienne what happened to him and then Adrienne tries to help him explain to Jennifer what happened. And I really hope that Jack shaves that beard soon! ugh. I never thought I would love Jennifer and Daniel but I have really come to love them as a couple. She’s been so happy with him, I’m so glad that she didnt push him away today at the end, they brought tears to my eyes.
Jen is in a good place right now with Daniel and I hope they keep them together. Find someone new for Jack if he has to stay around.
I wonder if the divorce would be invalid now if jack was held against his will. I. Definitely don’t want jack and Jenn back together, I love her and Daniel. I wonder if they will bring in semeone to play JJ??
of what was going to happen when all of a sudden this huge, green monster of a cake was sitting there right by the stairway! OMG, I wonder what’s going to happen….NOT! Then, just as we were concerned about what might be happening, Jack the buffoon falls on top of it. GMAB! And then he stumbles around while trying to talk to Jen and Abby just like he always used to not getting any sensible words out of his mouth. This character’s future doesn’t look too promising for the viewers to like.

Everyone would quit being so down on Jack. He and Jennifer have so much chemistry. Yes, he needs a shave. Yes, he’s acting immature. But if the writers get it together here, you’ll will see that he and Jennifer are so much better together than Jennifer and Daniel. That has been a creepy relationship to me from the get go. It’s like watching a brother and sister make-out. Frankly, they exhibit too much PDA for me too–everywhere!
Would be interesting to see how old JJ would be if they brought them back. Always seems like when they talk about him he is close to Abigail’s age, but that should not be the case at all.
Jack has barely spoken and until why he was gone is played out I am reserving judgement. BUT I liked Danial stepping in. I would be disapointed if he sat back and did nothing. He is a man that protects woman and does not want to see harm to them no matter who they are. So whether he was dating Jen or not his character would be to step in a try to protect Jen and Abigail from what is going on. I personally really like how he played it, especially when they were back at the Horton home.
Everyone would stop being down on the whole show and give these new writers a clean slate and some time. I don’t think we have seen enough to know how these writers are going to be. Right now all the SLs are just beginning and the party hasn’t even ended. We all know parties are a little different than normal. So I say we give everything some time.
I agree. The new writers can’t just change every character overnight or we won’t recognize the show or our beloved characters at all.
I see this party and it’s going on so long as a bridge between the old and new We ended old stories with hints toward new ones such as EJ’s big secret before the party and we’re seeing the beginnings of new storylines such as the secret bank account of Alice’s, John’s arrest, Jack coming back and EJ’s run for mayor during the party. Next we’ll see these new storylines develop and then we’ll see if Corday kept his promise and if the new writers are any better than the old. I’m holding out to see what happens after the party ends before I make a judgement on the new writing but it won’t be the next day or even the next week. I’m going to see one storyline thorough to the end to see how they handle it and if it drags on forever.
So far I’m enjoying the interaction between the characters and I think some how John and Alice’s storylines might be connected.
I wonder if someone is mistaking what John gets arrested for and he really isn’t doing it all. Like it is this big secret that he is doing something really good and not bad. But it will take awhile for that time come out. I also think it ties into the Abe SL because of the Pensions mentioned yesterday. So in the end it comes out it wasn’t bad, the stock value goes back up, and Abe’s job is saved. So I see this SL running for less than 2 months, which is not a bad SL length at all.
I have thought maybe it ties into Alice’s mysteries bank accounts, but then three SLs would wrap up around the same time, which doesn’t seem right. But it could be that way. It would make sense.
Everyone’s been so anxious for September 26th, and yet all I’m reading (in most cases, that is) is negativity. I’m loving everything, from the actors, to the characters, to their storylines, to the writing. These are the very beginnings of the new Days, and I’m sure it will get better, but to see so many negative threads and comments is a little depressing to me. I know the writers will never be able to please everyone all of the time, but to see so much criticizm so soon is not fair to the show, the writers, or the actors and their roles. After all these are NEW storylines and should be given time to develop, and if anyone thinks they look the same as they did 10 or 15 years ago, I’d certainly like to know where they bought their magic mirrors, beause I’m sure going to rush out and buy one. I love how everyone looks, talks, acts, and the new writers get a thumbs up from this fan. I don’t remember when I’ve been so excited for the next day’s show.
