than some of the other s/l’s they have goin’ on right now, like the martial arts studio, Abbey’s googley eyes over Austin, then *itching out Mel and Chad after they both decided to break it off, and I can’t even begin to imagine anthing more boring than the egg-baby s/l.  Oh, well, to each his own.  At least I know JS and CM are going to give me watchable performances.

as evidenced by the previews at the end of Friday’s show….  E.J. will not only turn the tables on Will’s poor attempt to blackmail him, but he will reveal that he knows it was Will who shot him (don’t ask me how he knows), and strongly suggests that Will has a much more urgent secret that E.J. knows about, and E.J. would have no problem revealing it.  Of course, how he knows Will is struggling with being gay is another questionmark with these writers.  I know E.J. spied on Will and his friends at the HTS, but nothing ever was openly stated by Will indicating he was gay.  E.J. probably just picked up on it from Will’s looks at Sonny’s friend, or something silly like that.  In any case, E.J. will turn the tables on Will and make Will do whatever E.J. asks of him, thus making E.J. the blackmailer and Will the one being blackmailed.   No, this one is not a spumor — Will is heading for a really bad fall when everything starts to cave in on him, thus the plot to bring Lucas home to Salem.

to have that suddenly, or without warning, taken away would, I think, be devastating to any doctor.  Sure, there are many other medical fields he can consider, even consultant in the O.R., but that’s not what he wants.  His career as a surgeon, saving a person’s life (and we all know he’s a miracle doc, anyway) is all that he ever wants to be, so I can see him having a hard time with it being taken away so suddenly, before he has time to consider the alternatives.  All he knows at this point is the word "irreversible," and he simply can’t deal with that right now.  SC will be off screen for a couple of months soon, something personal I think, so maybe during that time he’ll find his own cure.  It wouldn’t surprise me.

She can’t make up her mind and she’s making both of these guys miserable.  I wish they would both walk away from her.  As for Jack, I will always love MA, but wish they would clean up Jack a little.  He looks kinda’ like a bum most of the time with his plaid shirts and bad haircut.  He was so handsome when he was younger.

with the exception of Jennifer’s back and forth feelings with Daniel and Jack.  Pick or  walk away from both of them, before they both walk away from you, Jen.  This is one triangle I hate, mostly because I like both of these guys, but neither one of them deserve this yo-yo she seems to have them on.  JMO!

I like Chad with Melanie much more-so than Abbey, who seems to be confusing love with what she evidently perceives as Jack’s rejection.  Certainly, they could make Austin a little bit smarter and pick up on Abbey’s crush.  To me, she’s the one heading for the big fall, because Austin has finally shown nothing but love and support for Carrie, and I agree that I would hate to see them (writers) attempt to break up Carrie and Austin or Sami and Rafe for Carrie and Rafe.

I love the possibilities between John and Brady going into business together.  They both seem to be so happy with their reconciliation.

Love Marlena in psych mode, but thought Bo and Hope were waaaayyy too late to be seeking therapy at this point.  They have reconciled and admitted how much they still love each other.  They simply need to communicate more with each other over what’s bothering them instead of holding it inside, and this goes for Will, too.  His conversation with Sonny was far better for him, IMO, than any therapy Marlena provided.  He should have stopped Sami in her tracks and boldly stated that the reason for his distance with her was because of what he saw between her and E.J.  Maybe it will happen, but holding things in doesn’t help anyone solve their problems, and Lord knows Will has more than one.

that’s understandable and should be acceptable; however, when a poster replies with words like "are you sure you even know the full meaning of the word", then you are taking issue with me on a more personal level, and that begins a ‘baiting’ process that usually turns ugly; so, if anyone should feel "criticized" regarding their opinion, then that would be me.  Unfortunately, many fans on most message boards find it nearly impossible to confine their remarks solely to the show and it’s characters, and question another poster’s point of view on a more personal level.  When that happens, most posters will find this offensive.  If allowed to continue, sooner or later it gets out of hand and negativity toward a poster ensues, and not jut toward their post now.  We ALL need to be more areful of this and confine our remarks to the show and it’s characters, writers, etc., and not to each other …..

She has a beautiful complexion for her age, IMO.  Her skin always looks flawless. but the lipstick is just not a good shade for her complexion.  Normally I like her hairstyle, but admit I would love to see her lose the blue streak.  But lately her hair has no style, and appears dry to me, plus I’m not crazy about the color — too much red through it.

and personally I have my right to disagree with your opinion as you have to disagree with mine.  Just because you despise the character doesn’t make you right and me wrong; it simply means that’s your opinion …. it does not happen to be mine.  But, that’s what a fan’s point of view is all about.  It’s not a g/d in-house "go look-it-up" war, it’s a matter of personal opinion about a character, and, personally, I don’t care how the negativity rolls off your tongue where Sami is concerned, I will never agree with you or anyone else who decides that she is a slut, and that, I believe, is my prerogative and my point of view.  So, feel free to despise the character and degrade her all you want; that, on the flip side of the coin, is certainly your prerogative.  Fortunately, for me at least, I believe Sami is a staple on this show and will continue to be Sami until Ken Corday, as well as Alison Sweeney, decides she is done, whether the writers choose to change her or not.

Sami may be a lot of things that you and I’m sure many others consider amoral, but a slut has never been one of them.  You, nor can anyone else here, truthfully describe Sami as a "slut".  She may have used a lot of people, places, things, etc., to get something (or someone) that she wanted, but being a whoring slut was not one of them.  And yes, thank you, I am well versed on the meaning of the word.  There are, however, some gals on this show who have been, and who still are, in every sense of the word, "slutty".  You can disagree with me till the cows come home, and I will never agree that Sami has been in the past, nor is she now, a "slut".  Devious, deceiptful, manipulative, neglectful of her children, yes, these descriptive words and phrases, and many, many more perhaps, but NEVER a "SLUT".

2012 will be surgery free for you, Bonbon (haha).  Seems to me like you have been through enough.  Stay well, and you will always be in my prayers.

but most especially the scenes between John and Marlena, Will and Marlena, and John and Stefano.  They were all brilliantly acted and extremely heart-felt.  I, too, loved that little ‘make-up’ scene between John and Marlena when he returned from Stefano’s.  I am absolutely loving J&M this time around, more than I can say.

Quinn will be crushing on …. (BLECH) …. Melanie.  What is it with this girl that these writers have every male in Salem falling for her?
