she certainly isn’t contributing anything to the stories.  Why don’t they get her back on staff at the hospital now.  They certainly could use her, since Daniel is off licking his wounds somewhere, and Lexi is devoting more time to the mayor’s race than she is to her hospital duties.

as a matter of fact, the entire show today was awesome.  Loved seeing E.J. and Nicole get the shaft for a change.  Could have done without that kiss at the end between Carrie and Rafe, but the look on Sami’s face was priceless.  Could not help but feel for her somewhat though.  She really got blasted today.   Better hurry, Lucas, cuz Will’s not the only one who is going to need your support.  Now these are sweeps worth watching.  Keep it up, writers, please …. and not just on Fridays.

Will and E.J., with Nicole’s sarcasm thrown in.  The 3 of them are quite amusing now.  I did have to laugh out loud when pot and kettle…..er, I mean E.J. and Nicole….brought up these little ditties:  Nicole to E.J. – "you remember Sami, the woman who will stop at nothing to get what she wants" (please, Nikki) ….. and E.J. to Will about his and Nicole’s relationship, stating:  "when you’ve met your soul-mate, you don’t have any secrets from them….." – right about then I was expecting a bolt of lightening to come crashing through the ceiling, striking both of them dead ….. or at least carving out their respective tongues.  But I truly did enjoy how Will sort of had them both over a barrel with his own little powder keg …. IMO, the three of them held the show together yesterday.

and decide to stay with Kate.  However, soon Kate will have much more to worry about than Sami Brady and another one of her failed attempts to take down a DiMera.  So will Stefano.  As a reminder, ‘someone wicked this way cometh’ and his name is Ian McCallister.   I may be deluding myself, but I’m looking forward to this storyline —- well, I HOPE my peaking interests in this new character will be worth it.  He will be involved with many people in Salem, but mainy Madison and Kate; however, his presence will wreak havoc on many others.  Finally, a villain I may be able to look forward to having around (love Ian Buchanan — terrific actor).

that both Alice and Stefano had a huge secret that one knew about the other, and that it would destroy the person as well as their family.  So, I’m sure you are right that it would destroy Stefano to realize that E.J. is not his son.  And what would destroy the Bradys more than having to realize that Hope, in some way which she evidently does not remember, was married to John and they conceived E.J.  But how are they going to explain with any authenticity the fact that Susan gave birth to E.J. (or did she)?  That one has me puzzled.  So many ways they could go with this.  Hopefully, we will find out now and not have this drag out longer than this sweeps month.  I am so ready to move on from this.

or make-out in public places.  Three days in a row now; enough already.  What is happening to this show?  Are they trying to convince me that they really DON’T give a damn, because I’m very close to believing it.  These are the worst writers EVER.  No imagination, continuity, believability.  For example, Jennifer would never have stooped to E.J.’s level in this campaign fugly storyline; Stefano’s back and forth reminders to Bo and Hope about that damn secret …. oh, no, not in DAYS of old; and where in the hell is Lucas — why is it taking him so long to get here?  Will will be a basket case by that time and possibly commit matricide in the meantime.  Just very unhappy now and we are nearly at the end of the first week of a critical sweeps month.  If I have to watch Carrie and Rafe, the princess and prince of Salem, screw each other with their eyes one more freakin’ time, well, let’s just say I never thought I would fast-forward Rafe, but I am these days.  I’d much rather watch Sami than Rafe, where I know I’m in the minority, but that’s the way I feel.  Rafe and Carrie literally make my skin crawl with disgust.  Rafe is supposed to be the smart one, able to detect things about people not normally seen by others.  Well, take a good look at what you’re panting for, Prince Sh*t For Brains …. a serial cheater, because that’s exactly what Carrie is.  Don’t believe me?  Just ask Austin, Lucas, Austin again, and probably Mike as well.  Oh well, one bad week almost gone … 3 more to go … but I’m not holding out any high hopes.  The material these writers are producing is just not worth my time or investment.  So, I’ll just watch until I feel like Popeye when he says "That’s all I can stands…..I can’t stands no more."

trying to help her by telling her THE TRUTH.  He understands how she must feel, and she keeps making it a personal attack.  Well, at least she admitted that he was ‘probably’ right.  No, Sami, not ‘probably’ … more like definitely, so STHU and PAY ATTENTION when people are trying to help you, although a complete loss of everything in life you claim to love may be the best thing that could happen to you right now.

Simon was/is doing his best to try and convince the general audience that the show was sooooo successful, and that the judges were all coming back.  Nicole was a horrible judge, crying over that little 14-yr. old girl who was kicked off, and she really went overboard with it, as she did in most of her comments with the contestants.  As for the host, never heard of him before and suspect I never will again.  The bickering between Simon Cowell and the other judge (so popular can’t even remember his name) was agonizingly painful to watch week to week, and Paula needs to get off these reality shows altogether, as all of her comments are the same.  The show never was my cup of tea; just watched it try and compete with A.I., knowing that if it did get canned, Simon would be out a cool 5 Mil.  The show was over-produced if you ask me; all the lights, the lasers, the audience interruption during the performances … all distractions I could have done without.  If it does come back, I doubt I’ll watch it unless there is absolutely NOTHING else on in that time-slot.

so I guess that Stefano’s reference to Hope being his little "art thief" was a lead-in.  New writers are horrible …. absolutely no imagination whatsoever.  And, to make matters worse, somehow I’d be willing to bet that she will be E.J.’s mother.  They have compounded one bad plot after another throughout their existence on this show, and frankly I am fed up with them.  If they can’t turn this show around by the end of February sweeps, I will find my days with an extra hour of "bliss."

I hate this storyline, because I’m sure that this is exactly what Alice’s secret will be, and that she was trying to protect Hope all along.  Then, I suppose the shock for John and Marlena will be that John is E.J.’s bio-dad.  Ugh!

they said 63, too.  I thought he was older.  He looked much better, though, on tonight’s interview.  He said he and his fiance’ have been together for 5 years.  He has 4 children, has been married several times, and still loves his children’s’ mother very much to this day.  They actually showed his throat surgery where he burst a blood vessel on his vocal cords at a 2-hour concert, and they showed the actual laser surgery.  He’s been clean and sober, so he claims, since his rehab in 2009.  Says he truly believes in family and commitment.  Guess it’s just harmless flirting he has a problem with.  LOL!
