His comment about being a detective and finding the ladle himself was kind of snarky IMO. We know what was going on between Carrie and Rafe because we’ve seen the other "looks," etc. but as far as Austin is concerned, all they were doing was dancing…hardly a reason to go off the handle like that.
All I’ve got to say is if they don’t kill this ridiculous story about Carrie and Rafe, and do it pretty soon, I’m going to seriously consider cutting the cord, and after 43 years!
the years where Carrie worked with Mike and ended up having an affair with him (yup not same Austin – TG but still part of the characters’ history). Also, Austin was never willing to admit that he contributed to Carrie’s affair by constantly spending time with other women, "saving them." He’s got Abby now worshipping the ground he walks on, telling him how great he is, etc. and then there’s Carrie who is busy with starting a business with another man.
did watch their faces |thisclose| together at the end of the stupid dance. Anyway, I’m not backing him up, but they are all hypocrites.
Is anyone out there seriously enjoying these swapping couples SLs? I tune in now and then for bits of other soaps and they seem to be exploring other more interesting issues. Days is ridiculously, stubbornly commited to wornout, tediously predictable marital stories.
And what irks me most is they make characters we believe to be reliable solid people into spineless jokes.
I’m also getting so sick of Sami’s continual smary expression and she has become increasingly unlikable for me. And I’m still trying to figure why Days brought Quinn back. I see zero charisma in this guy.
I tune in now for John and Marlena,for the occasional appearances of Doug and Julie, for this box secret to be unveiled and for Will’s dynamo acting. And that’s about it.to turn this show around. We have just entered February sweeps and, so help me, if things don’t dramatically improve, I may be signing off …. for good!
Who can forget when Carrie was married to Lucas and having sex with Lucas and then Austin the same night. ewwww. Gosh and Mike and Lucas are brothers ewww. Days should have a Jerry Springer episode.
