I read a while back something about Princess Gina but this morning I read that Hope & John must deal with a revelation then John & Marlena are in for a shock. This is in the same time period (week of Feb. 6) that they open that safe deposit box and Stefano is mortified by the information Alice had on him.
Not sure if these are related but it leads me to think that Hope (in her Princess Gina) days and John are the bio parents of EJ.
Who can possibly think of this ridiculous stuff. Like a woman does not know that she is pregnant for nine months and gives birth (probably one of the most painful things a person can encounter) and doesn’t know it???
I’ll bet if you’re born in Salem they fill out your birth certificate in pencil.
egg donor for EJ because Hope is way too young to be EJ’s mother IF they continue to keep EJ in his 30s as they seem to be doing. If he was his REAL on screen birth age (younger than Will), Hope could be the egg donor from when she was held captive by Stefano. This is where the SORASing ruins some stories.
Unless Hope gave birth to EJ when she was 15, it’s not possible! Kristian Alfonso is 48 and James Scott is 33. I guess they could’ve harvested an egg without her knowledge or something along those lines, but then how do you explain Susan and the whole Elvis thing??? Sometimes I think rewriting history is necessary, but this is just beyond ridiculous!
I thought when Hope was pregnant with Zak, that Bo thought she was pregnant with John’s baby because Hope thought she was Gina. Then they went through the whole thing where Bo and Hope were in Paris and Bo was really the father of Zak. So there’s a pregnancy, but we saw the baby from that and we found out Bo was the daddy. I’m not getting where, when or how, John and Hope could have parented EJ. Of course I am behind on the show and need to catch up, but this is just too far fetched.

Oh my gosh, that is SO funny (and probably so true). Or maybe they use invisibale ink, or erasable pen.
I hate this storyline, because I’m sure that this is exactly what Alice’s secret will be, and that she was trying to protect Hope all along. Then, I suppose the shock for John and Marlena will be that John is E.J.’s bio-dad. Ugh!
supposed to be the same age. Nadia was also in that group or a year younger. Bo is supposed to be about 50 but Hope was at least 5+ years younger than he was. So she’d supposed to be about 40-45 years old. So if Shawn was 30, it would make her having giving birth to Shawn when she was 15, if she’s 45. Hope didn’t have Shawn until she was over 18, not by much though.
Then you have Brady who is supposed to be older than EJ too and way younger than Sami who was born in 1984 on screen which would make her way older than the "Elvis Jr."and Brady. Trying to make sense of this doesn’t work! Sami would have to be 35 as she had Will (now 18 in college) at 16-17. To me Brady looks his age: 40! Austin is also in his 40s but Carrie looks good for being in her 40s (which she should be storyline wise).
of who ever decided to age EJ and bring him on as EJ Wells – 20 something race car driver. Susan’s child would have to have been YOUNGER than Will! He was born way after Will. ’nuff said!
In Salem you don’t have to be pregnant and deliver to be a bio parent. Look at Kate and Roman with the Gemini Twins. Maggie with Dan, Kate/Vivian with Phillip, and I’m sure there are other’s I can’t think of right now.
I just hope he isn’t the father with Marlena because then Sami and EJ would be half brother/sister — gross! Of course it would stop them getting together in the future!
so I guess that Stefano’s reference to Hope being his little "art thief" was a lead-in. New writers are horrible …. absolutely no imagination whatsoever. And, to make matters worse, somehow I’d be willing to bet that she will be E.J.’s mother. They have compounded one bad plot after another throughout their existence on this show, and frankly I am fed up with them. If they can’t turn this show around by the end of February sweeps, I will find my days with an extra hour of "bliss."

If these writers are so devoid of ideas to use for the current characters, without rehashing old stuff over and over and over; maybe it’s time to let some of them go and hire new characters. Heck, I’d sacrifice several of them to get some new interest in this poor dying thing.
I am really, really disguested with the way things are going. I have never, and I mean NEVER, before threatened to stop watching and when I say it, it is NOT an empty threat, but, seriously folks, if things don’t start picking up very soon, I’m going to be right next to Patti, doing something else for 40 minutes every day.
